THE PHILIPPINE CAVY CLUB, INC. The Philippine Cavy Club, Inc. is a non stock, non profit organization whose ultimate purpose is of promoting responsible breeding and ownership. The Club shall also protect and promote the interests of its members as well as the welfare of the cavies. The Philippine Cavy Club, Inc. is the first and only cavy club in the world that maintains an Official Stud Book thus ensuring the integrity of its registry. Upon registration, a PCCI Certified 3 Generation Pedigree will be issued guaranteeing that your cavy’s pedigree has been compiled from the Official Stud Book records. Furthermore, an authenticated and certified pedigree provides the cavy owner/breeder with accurate information as to the cavy’s ancestry, genetic history and lineage all of which are very essential in the establishment of a good breeding program. The Philippine Cavy Club, Inc. welcomes everyone and anyone with a keen interest in the cavy fancy. Whether you are engaged in active breeding or just plain interested, your membership and participation is as valuable to us.
