I would suggest, though that calling a local hotline would be the better choice because face to face interaction is always best. This link used to go to a website associated with a specific recovery program. In this program we have a tradition of anonymity at the public level. After some consideration I have decided that the internet is a public forum and that I should not identify myself as a member in this way.
