| This view shows the pneumatic tubing of the pedal action as damaged by vandals on the scrounge for lead to take to a scrap-dealer. The flash of the camera reveals an abundance of dust, which in Scotland has the evocative title - "stour"! As mentioned on Lewis Page 5, this old tubing has been replaced with new plastic tubing. A good proportion of the old lead tubing has been recycled as part of the restoration of the Pedal Organ. Photos |
