| These photographs show the result of two days work by Paul Miller and David, his apprentice, in fitting new pneumatic tubing. This work has brought back the 8' Bass Flute and 16' Sub Bass to the Pedal Organ. Reconnection of the wind to the Pedal Organ has also revealed that a significant amount of re-leathering needs to be done so that all the pedal notes work. The tail-pieces (cut from recycled lead tubing) for the Open Wood have now been made up and await the next stage in the restoration of the Pedal Organ. |
