Sadly my precious girl lost her 3 year battle with mammary cancer, on 25 July 2005 at the age of 16. The final chapter.
Kiriana was my constant companion for 13 years and brought so much joy, love and laughter. I am still struggling with her loss.
There is not a single day that goes by where I don't think about her and miss her.
Good-bye my sweet pudding girl, always remember mummy loves you very much.
Kellita Kiriana was born on the 30th of Sept. 1989 (libra). She was bred by Gayle and John of Kellita Cattery. She spent her first year on the show bench, and won many ribbons and trophies. She then went on to have 3 litters of kittens, unfortunately due to unknown reasons, her last litter died. It was then that they decided not to risk breeding with her again....and shortly before Kiri turned 3 she was adopted by me. To read the full story go HERE.
Kiri ....or "Pud" as I call her - short for pudding :) - settled in well after a few weeks. She turns 13 this year (2002), and apart from having a couple of teeth removed is happy and healthy. However she has been known to get herself into trouble from time to time, as you will find out in the RIBBON INCIDENT.
Pud has the sweetest personality, she is gentle, affectionate and loves nothing better than to snuggle up close in bed. She is quite shy around strangers, until she gets to know them and makes up her mind if she likes them or not. She also has a very stubborn streak, and the word "no" often has very little effect on her. But she is gorgeous, and without a doubt the best thing ever to happen to me. I love her to bits!!
