Days 1-8

1st Tribal Council (1st for Kaldur Tribe)
As the Kaldur Tribe takes the long hike to the Tribal Council they ponder over what went wrong within the tribe to loose by so many points in the first immunity challenge. Well, the first members to join the groupsite know that it has to be inactivity from a certain few people who are needed so desperately to initiate group composure. So, the best idea is of course to kick out the member who helped the least. Sadly, Jennifer O. was that member mostly because she was sick from trying to adjust to the new climate
of the island and just wasn't able to
participate enough.

The Tribe Has Spoken

All 16 members of the Island Challenge had finally arrived on the island of Iceland and all seemed anxious to get started after a couple of no shows were replaced at the last second. So far it seems as though the Kaldur tribe is having a lot more trouble staying warm than the Svidandi Tribe.

The first challenge was the traditional "Campsite Challenge" in which both tribes had to find their club/group site and try to post as many messages and pictures as they possibly could. Extra point were awarded for pics of Iceland. Midway through the challenge Tammy of Kaldur had to be evacuated off the island because of over exposure of her toes to the extreme cold temperatures which caused her frost bite. So to make it fair for their tribe the hosts brought in Chrissy to warm things up a bit. Chrissys not new to SOTN so she should be able to give her new tribe a needed boost. It was too little too late for Kaldur, however, because Svidandi gained a huge lead in the challenge and Kaldur was never able to catch up.

So off to the first tribal council goes the freezing Kaldur Tribe, while Svidandi celebrates the victory with hot chocolate provided by the hosts for a job well done.

The first reward challenge was designed to get both tribes to work together independently to create and design their own official tribal flag. The Host was so happy to see how the tribes progressed that she couldn't decide on a winner! "...They are both perfect in their own ways." Since their was no decision...

In order to survive the environment of Iceland the survivors were given the opportunity to buy certain items listed to them in a immuntity challenge to test their ability at being "thrifty shoppers." Each tribe was given $50 to spend at the local village on various items listed to make their camp more comfortable. The goal was to spend the least amount of money possible finding items from businesses on the Internet. Here's the list and results...

Great team effort was put forth by both tribes, but this time, unlike the Flag RC, their had to be only one winner. By a margin of only .93 Kaldur wins the challenge and sends the Svidandi tribe to their first tribal council.

2nd Tribal Council (1st for Svidandi Tribe)
As the tribes seem to be feeling more comfortable about their surroundings they are also growing more comfortable with their fellow tribemates. The past two challenges have proven that the tribes can individually join together and fight to win for their cause of staying alive. The reward challenge was the first test. The immunity challenge was the ultimate test of matching wits against activity. While both teams have grown together, Kaldur was very much in need of a victory to gain their composure. Svidandi may be leading the Jet Points tally, but Kaldur won immunity. So Svidandi takes the long hike to their first tribal council.

Well I am glad U voted me off. I was in to many games and began to get behind in my games, I am in school so that did not help. I love SOTN and good luck to all my tribe mates. I was inactive in this game due to being busy, I am so sry, and also I would like to say that I would have voted me out. P.S. Every season I play I seem to do worse lol
