Now, how do we turn the switch from the sun light of this world to God's Light within each cell of the body? In an instant we may recognize and surrender to the God-Light (Jesus) within, as we realize that we are in this world not to GET, but to GIVE. We are here to spend our Light selflessly to all mankind. It is when we understand this that we will understand the scripture: "Seek ye the Kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Luke 12:31). It is then we find what kings would sell their kingdoms to acquire, could it be bought. It cannot be bought! It is within us awaiting the crucifixion of our ego to be "reborn" - resurrected as THE LIGHT of God in each cell to spend selflessly to the world. As we experience this rebirth, we will no doubt wonder why we waited so long, why we were so fearful of surrendering to our Real Self, our God within, to BE Peace, Joy, Gladness, Freedom and Love in this world.

Do we have a responsibility to cleanse and prepare our bodies, "the temple of God", for this rebirth? How many of us have thought we could do otherwise only to be surprised that nothing changed in our daily lives. Jesus entered Jerusalem, prior to the story of the crucifixion, and "cleansed the temple". We read that we too must maintain the temple: "... know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? .... therefore glorify God, in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." (I Corinthians 6:19-20). And in I Corinthians 3:16-17, the message is even clearer. "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?. If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are."

Is it possible that God within would destroy this physical body, the temple? Why not? Our God within can never become the Light of our life unless we experience the death and resurrection. That is the only way the Divine Entity has a chance to gain a new body and try again to go Home to the Kingdom of God.

The message is very clear in the Bible. The cleansing of the "temple" is absolutely essential for this rebirth. As we surrender to the Light within, Jesus, there is no doubt that we will recognize the need to prepare our temples, repent, and be reborn of "water", in preparation for the rebirth of "Spirit". How can we do this?
