Hey people! Welcome to my Buffy/Angel page.
I can still remember the first time I saw Buffy. It was 30th December 1998, and BBC2 showed the feature length season one opener, 'Welcome To The Hellmouth/The Harvest'. I was hooked. And, despite the fact that the show gets shifted about whenever something more important comes up, like world championship tiddlywinks, at least they don't cut it to shreds, like Channel Four do with Angel. Please, BBC, buy the rights to Angel as soon as they're available! Honestly, Channel Four should be ashamed of themselves.
So, anyway; Buffy.
Favourite Character: Xander.
Favourite Actor: Alyson Hannigan.
Favourite Episode: 'Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered' (season two).
So, why do I love Buffy so much? It's fun! The writing is unbelievable. As an actor and writer myself, I find it incredible that people have that much talent. It's taken me three months to write one episode of a half hour sit-com! Episodes like 'Surprise', 'Innocence', 'Becoming', 'Hush' and 'The Body' are all amazingly written pieces of drama, and compelling viewing. And then there's episodes that are extremely funny, usually Xander led episodes like 'Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered', 'The Zeppo' and 'The Replacement'.
Everything about Buffy, and Angel, just screams, 'Emmy! Now!' They're brilliant! As well as Joss 'God' Whedon, it has brilliant writers like Jane Espenson and Doug Petrie. Pure class.
As Buffy leaves the WB and joins UPN, the show is sure to go from strength to strength. And I for one will still be enjoying it until Joss decides to call it a day. Or drops dead from overworking. Whichever.
Okay, here's a few links to some of the better Buffy sites out there. First of all, try Buffy In Britain, which gives biogs and stuff, plus when to catch the Buffster on TV over here. Then we've got the british site, Buffy-Slayer, and, of course, the official sites at Buffy.com and Buffyfanclub.com. BuffySearch is described as a one stop Buffy shop,  and Buffyguide.com does exactly what it says on the tin. Thers also some excellent individual cast photo galleries on there. Finally, there's the brilliant Watcher's Web, packed with news and features, and the BBC's Buffy page. You can also find links to other Buffy/Angel sites on these sites.  And then there's my own little homage to the delightful Alyson Hannigan, which I've titled, quite simply, Aly H. Enjoy!
UFF
"Bored now." - Vamp Willow, 'The Wish'
"There are three things I don't do-Tan, date and sing in public." - Angel, 'Judgment'
"Giles will be recurring next year instead of a regular because [Anthony Stewart Head is] going to live in England. We're working on a BBC [spinoff] show for [that character]. So, [there's] a side of Giles you're more likely to see on his show than you are on Buffy. But, it's not like he's going to become an evil killer or anything." - Joss Whedon
As for crossovers with "Angel," Whedon said none are planned.
"We have a spectacular non-crossover planned, and I will not explain what that means," Whedon said cryptically.
He's threatening to do a musical episode of "Buffy" next season, and, as always, "Buffy" will fight a "big bad" evil presence and there will be an overriding theme for the year.
"The theme for next season is growing up and entering the grown-up world, dealing with jobs, being engaged, other problems," Whedon said.
Willow and Tara will remain in college, but not Buffy... "She's not enrolled next year."

SFX Magazine: How would being back in England full time change Giles?
Tony Head: He'll get to cycle more. I've been trying to get Giles on a bike for ages...At one point I was trying to get a motorbike and sidecar, for Buffy. The idea of the gang all piling on it - one of those double sidecars, an old BMW. Flying goggles.

"Say, you all didn't happen to do a bunch of drugs, did ya?" - Willow, 'Doppelgangland'
Giles: "Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after."
