Studying various Transit schedule books, I had an idea, for a separate printing of a transit directory, with color photoes, of museums, parks, etc. describing them briefly as possible, and either directing folks to the regular transit book for routes Or having a little drawing showing their route connection. Commercials sites such as McDonalds or any other business WOULD PAY TO BE INCLUDED. They might even be allowed to have a discount coupon listed. In a magazine format, this could come out as a insert in the local "Reader" (SD county)alternative newspaper. Mostly Sunline drivers are fine but elder driver name of Esther, decided to not open the door for me on the 80 route, so I talked to a superviser, Victor Duran, giving him a copy of how I had witnessed, her one day on her route having a screaming fierce verbal battle with her daughter, who sat near her drivers seat. The daughter wanted Esther to loan her a hundred dollars and Esther didnt want to do it, but finally after blocks, gave her daughter a signed checkbook for her loan. Female riders in the front section were most offended by their tirade. BUT THE WORST, was by a white female named Mellessa. On May 10, 02, I entered route 111, going towards Palms Springs, and had driver Mellessa tell me my receipt no longer good at the time of 4:30 pm. fine, I said and paid another fare. As I walked to my seat in the front disabled section, I said I wanted to tell her of a suggestion, she could pass onto management. LOUDLY, she tells me to wait until she can give me a consumer form, but I say, why? and then she screams at me, I am arguing with her, no, I firmly state, YOU are arguing with me. Then she screams at me, that I am harassing her, and I say that is not true, then she leans over to her right, stretching her hand (no doubt, taking her eyes off of road) to a passenger, a male nearer her, opposite both of us, she and I behind her. She orders him to be a witness, but I add, that he must give his name and address to both of us. He gives us both, his business card, which reads: "QUALITY TOUCH THERAPEUTIC Acupressure & Massage Therapist, J.T. (Shine) Lewis L.M.P. Health & Fitness Educator, Call 760-408-5453." Before that she also told me, "to spell her name right.," an odd egoism. After we got the handed card, she again loudly accuses me of harrasing her, THEN SHE GETS ON Bus TELEPHONE-RADIO, CALLING FOR A SUPERVISOR, I disembark at next stop, whereupon, she again tells me to get her name spelled right. In a few days, she at the downtown transit center, converses with two other drivers, male, all three looking at me, laughing. I am not amused, she should be adminstered a drug test. J.B. YESTERDAY, TUE, 02,02, I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM ONE OF SUNLINE DRIVERS, SUSAN GONZALES WHICH I QUICKLY EMAILED TO THE CA. STATE AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. MY THEORY: IT IS A SUBTERFUGE; HOPING I WILL RESPOND IN INAPPROPIATE LANGUAGE, I DID NOT, WILL NOT, I'M SMARTER THAN THEY ARE, OBVIOUSLY. IT IS THEREFORE A COLLUSIVE CONSPIRACY AND A FEDERAL VIOLATION. A SERIOUS POSSIBLE GOING TO PRISON TYPE BY THEM, VIOLATION! A driver name of Annie, who knows I am disabled, wouldnt lower the bus unless I asked and on one occasion, seeing me run on that leg, towards her bus, at a remote stop pulled off, NOW IF I HAD BEEN BLACK LIKE HER, SHE WOULD HAVE STOPPED. I ASSURE YOU. SHE HAS A FRIEND, THAT SITS ACROSS FROM HER DAILY ON HER RUNS, THAT DISTRACTS BY CONVERSATION, HER FROM HER DRIVING FOR HOURS AT A TIME! IN THE LATE 1980's, I WAS ACCOSTED REGULARLY BY AN OLDER MALE DRIVER, THAT LIKED AND BOASTED OF IT, HIS LIKING TEENAGE SCHOOL GIRLS AND HIT ON THEM ON HIS ROUTES. I HAVE BEEN INFORMED, HE WAS FINALLY FIRED. HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ARRESTED, I THINK HIS FIRST NAME WAS TONY. IN THAT PERIOD OF TIME, THE BUSES BROKE DOWN CONTINUALLY, STRANDING US ALL IN DANGEROUS HIGH HEAT, INDIO, CA., IS KNOWN FOR: I WROTE MANY LETTERS TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND NEWSPAPERS, I THEN LEFT THE AREA, RETURNING SOME TIME LATER, AND THEY HAD NEW BUSES, THIS IS THE THANKS I GET. THREE MONTHS HAVE PASSED SINCE I WAS IN INDIO, CA., AT THEIR TRANSIT CENTER WHERE THEIR DRIVERS ENJOY SANITARY INSIDE CENTER RESTROOMS,
BUT OUTSIDE IN THE PARKING LOT ARE TWO OF THE MOST UNSANITARY PORTA POTTYS FOR THE PUBLIC I HAVE SEEN, PLUS
THEY'RE PLASTIC< CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW HOT THEY WILL BE IN THEIR TERRIBLE SUMMER HEAT?! SUNLINE TRANSIT IS OBVIOUSLY MORE INTERESTED IN ITS NEW CORPORATE SELF INTEREST PROJECTS,
WILL THEY AS WELL PUT ELDERS AND CHILDREN IN DANGER OF HARM?
