Sheaves of Grass **A Collection of Poems |
by K. Violet * 2002 |
This poem is dedicated to my sister, Charlie. |
The soul behind the face is trembling although the face remains still. The heart pounds out requests for compassion, for tenderness, for rememberance. Twisters of thought race along pearls of tissue creating confusion, inviting fear and destruction, igniting candles at both ends. Only brief repose, a moment of sanity, before alternate thought patterns take control, and the storm rages. In this soul there is always two and the uncertainty of which one. So the soul trembles, and the face remains still. |
