RULES

IMPORTANT: If I have never traded with you before, you have to send your package first. This lowers the risk of me being ripped off if I send first. Also, I DO NOT trade for blanks.

IMPORTANT: I can’t record nor play PAL or SECAM VHS tapes. They will be recorded in NTSC only. However, I can play PAL formatted DVDs, and I will also accept official PAL VHS tapes.

IMPORTANT: Most tapes I record are in SP mode. Please do the same for me as I am trying to keep my library to the highest quality possible.

IMPORTANT: All titles are on VHS unless otherwise specified (DVD, VCD, etc.). All VHS titles can be copied to another VHS tape or to DVD. DVD titles are available on either DVD or VHS also. You choose! If you are requesting for DVDs, please check if your DVD player can play DVD+R discs.

IMPORTANT: As an act against copyright infringement, I choose not to sell any unofficial tapes or discs. However, if you find something on my trading page that you’d like from me, but don’t have anything on my “Things I want” list to offer, we can arrange a store pick-up trade. This is where if you do not have anything I am looking for, I will tell you something I have been looking for in a store, and you see if you can find it for me.

Recording tips:

• Begin the tape by recording 15-30 seconds of blank screen, no audio, and 10 seconds in-between each program. This gives time for the tracking to adjust before the program begins.
• Never edit out the commercials on TV broadcasts.
• Never edit out the warning screens, logos, and any extra previews on home video releases. I would like to get them in their entirety, and that it’s not just the program that I get.
• Please record all tapes in SP mode. Like I said, I would like to have a library of high quality material.
• Please do not use generic tapes for recording. For information on the types of brands that I will accept, please click here.
