| Marlboro Ranch Party 2003 |
| Day 4 - June 1, 2003 We woke up knowing we were getting ready to go home. We got our last minute packing done, and put our luggage outside on our patio. Then headed to breakfast, enjoying the views on the way there. Today for breakfast I had homemade blueberry pancakes, hashbrowns, and some more toast to soak up the alcohol. Those pancakes were the BEST I've ever had in my life!!!!!! I could only eat 1/2 of one though, they were so big!! After breakfast we went and sat out on the dining patio soaking in the sun, the warmth, and the beauty. Got a few last minute names and numbers...but we kept our cool and didn't cry!!! We got a few more pictures of the ranch and of us together. At 9:00am or somewhere around there we loaded the shuttle bus of the first batch of us heading to the airport. I was okay leaving the ranch, and totally kept my cool. When we got to the airport Marlboro had paid for the skycap for us, so we didn't even have to check in and go through getting our tickets and dealing with our luggage. We went in and just sat down saying goodbye to all of our new friends. Our flight to Dallas/Ft.Worth Texas was nice. Nothing significant. Shelly and I slept a lot of the way. When we got to Dallas we quickly found the way out to smoke. Then we headed off to our terminal, which was on the other side of the airport. We said goodbye to our new friends that we were leaving...and I cried the whole time from then and 20 minutes or so into the next flight. Shelly and I slept almost the whole way to Indy from there. Bill and Mitch were on our plane home, and they helped us find our luggage at Indy aiport. There we said goodbye to our last friends...with promises to write everyone we met. I never thought I would ever have such an awesome vacation, and memories to last me forever. Shelly and I turned our pictures in the next day...and were very excited to talk about all we did, and show everyone all the goodies Marlboro sent us home with. In 18 months I will try to win another trip...as this was the BEST time of my life!!! To all you smokers out there -- get on Marlboro's mailing list, and definitely try to win a trip! This was the last summer for the White Stallion Ranch, but any trip put out by Marlboro will be just as great!!! Hello to all my new friends I met!! I miss you all so much, and hope some day soon we'll meet again on another trip, or if we ever decide to have a Marlboro Ranch Party 2003 Reunion!!! I love you guys!
