Correct! Not only did Al not say he "invented" the Internet, industry leaders and scientists such as Vinton Cerf (Nicknamed the Father of the Internet), Marc Andreessen (the Inventor of the Mosaic Browser), Robert E. Kahn (who helped design early Internet network for Defense Departments Advanced Research Projects Agency in 1969) -- and even Al Gore’s least favorite politician, Newt Gingrich -- have stated publicly that the Internet would not be where it is today without the strong support given to it by the Vice President in his current role and in his earlier role as Senator.
