MISS INTERNATIONAL 2004 - MAIN
EVENT
On the theme of
Goodwill and Friendship between Japan and China, we are
pleased to announce that long time organizer of Miss
International Beauty Pageant, International Cultural
Association of Japan will be co-hosting this year's pageant
with China International Culture Dispersion Center in Beijing,
China.
The Grand final is planned to take place at Peoples Great
Hall, one of the most famous landmarks in the capital city,
Beijing, of China on Saturday 16 or Monday 18 of October 2004.
The respectable promoters of the national beauty pageants of
all over the world are kindly invited to participate in this
one of the world most prestigious beauty pageants, "MISS
INTERNATIONAL".
This most memorable and epoch making pageant will have been
realized by our Chinese co-organizer's sincere and sleepless
efforts with the aims of fostering worldwide friendship
through inviting ambassadors of beauty from all over the world
to gather as one, as well as letting people in the world see
the most dramatic economic progress China has made in recent
years.
Japan has a long lasting relationship and friendship in over
2000 years of its history and we have received overwhelming
supports from various sectors of our nation for hosting this
very special pageant in our neighboring nation, China. This
will be the first time Miss International Beauty Pageant we
will hold outside Japan and its origin, U.S.A. for the last 44
years of history.
To make this special pageant big success, we are planning to
welcome a lot more delegates than usual, closer to 100, if not
over, from different countries and regions of the world. And
we will have the grand final in this most famous "Peoples
Great Hall in Beijing" which can accommodate more than
10,000 thousand audience at one time. Telecasting the pageant
live, of course is also planned to many nations in the world
through broadcasting satellite, and it will be publicized as
TV news articles distributed by China Central TV Station.
We have various promotional and cultural exchange programs
both in Japan and China by visiting national and municipal
government offices, hosting charity receptions and events with
a large number of invited guests such as respectable
lawmakers, influential company executives from economic arena,
celebrities, a wide range of media people all alike. We will
also hold a series of "Miss International Forum
2004" bridging over Japan and China on the theme of Peace
and Friendship through the Missions of Miss International. We
are very much positive that all delegates from different parts
of the world will have a huge exposure to Japanese and Chinese
people and world media by those many worthwhile social and
promotional activities in this year's pageant program.
