Well, it wasn't all that secret, and of course it was night. Here at the Healing Den, there was technically no "day time" to speak of. They sat outside, on what had used to be a parking lot, below the null-zone known as the Nexus. It served as a perfectly spooky sky. The group's dragons were dark, that was true. One could barely see them, as they lurked around the outskirts of the flat area outside the Den.
"So here we are. Tiyanni said it was just whites they wanted for the Flurry, in the winter." One of the conspiritors said, low. Sab're leaned over and took one of the glowing pieces of wood which made up their camp fire, and pressed it down on the stony dirt, causing sparks. "Faloritoth is used to flying at the Healing Den. But indoors? It's kind of wierd."
"It'll be something new. And it'll be fun. They don't even have to have it inside, you know, silly. They can just send us out to some locale." Beena tilted her head at the dark skinned man, and kind of wondered why she had to be on a male dragon.
Avery was silent most of the time, but then shrugged. "If it's not one thing it's another. Zujirth is signed up in the cross gendered flight, just like your Minath is, Beena."
The voluptuous dark-skinned woman looked ready to gloat. "Of course. They're both perfectly good males!"
"Not as good as mine," Ivo said, with a broad, nasty smile on his face. Of course, there was rarely a broad 'pleasant' smile anywhere on him. His own night-bronze dragon might scare away some but the two women weren't among them. Beena even cuffed him on the shoulder.
"He's in the other Ryslen flight too! Why, we've got a whole bunch of studs here!" She laughed.
Something howled in the distance, and Zephyr glanced over her shoulder. Normally a brave young woman, she furrowed her thin eyebrows. "There can't be anything alive out here... Nothing to hunt..."
"Nothing to hide under either," commented Sab're. "So... What is it out there?"
"It's only meeeee..." Sang Tabitha. She and her Dark-green dragoness had apparently been at some kind of wine tasting before hand. Or, they'd simply been getting high behind the backs of everyone. Either way, it was Oni Ailea, rider of purple Julanith, who chastised her cousin.
"You're going to ruin your brain with that," she said, and Tabitha howled again, just to prove that it was her out there scaring the daylights out of everyon. "You're already ruined, I stand corrected," Oni groaned.
"We're going to have to sign everyone up, soon. Ivo, you might want to lay low. Your cousin Shezumi is around, she's even headed to the Flurry in winter."
Ivo groaned, and his dragon let out a bellow of disgust. "Why can't she stay in her own little universe any more?"
"And we can't ask the same about you?" said Avery, and the others laughed.
She is just about the smallest dragon on the flight list, half the size of a normal green. She's very quick, and very demanding.
Oni is sure of herself, in control, and demanding of herself, her dragon and any partner she would have. She is wild in appearance, and slightly blue in skin tone.
Blith has not flown in a mating flight yet, but she is confident that she will do just fine. If her rider doesn't pass out or make a fool of herself, that's a bonus.
Tabitha is blue. Actually more kind of periwinkley, and she's got pink hair. Don't you love it?
Misota is quick witted, larger than most blues, and a daring dragon. Loves to fly and adores his rider.
Beena is extremely sexy, and she will enjoy whatever partner Minath lands her.
Faloritoth is an experienced dragon. He's been in several flights, siring clutches and individual eggs at both Ryslen and the Healing den. He is larger than a brown, but not as bulky as a bronze, and has a quick eye.
Sab're is handsome and dashing, and will take the opportunity he is given to provide any partner with some pleasure. He's... got commitment issues, though!
Zkoth is absolutely full of himself this time around. If he isn't going to win at one sands, he'll fly directly to another, and wear himself out. It takes a while. He's got practice. He's quite the stud.
Ivo is a shapeshifting cheetah. Just don't ask...
Zujirth has not flown yet, and his rider is a bit distressed about what they might be doing at any frenzy. He learned to fly earlier than his clutchmates, and is utterly silent in the air, like his rider is on the ground.
Don't mess with Avery.
Tsuyoith is a very eager, interesting and active dragon. She is proud of herself, and knows she is unique.
Zephyr had reservations about standing at Tsu's clutch. They're gone.
