Thank you for being ever so patient

This goes a long way in your guitar education
as it requires a great deal of patience to learn that
you know nothing about the guitar and that
there is a lot of stuff to learn that will take
a very long time to pick up if you dont practice
POSTURE & POSITIONING

As you can see from the picture on the left, a good guitar posture is affected by this great individual.  Note the drawn back shoulders for good spinal support. Chest in stomach out.

However if you should see him in person, kindly knock him to the ground for me.  That is object he holds is my nephew's toy guitar he stole.  Thanks
GIMMICKRY

Good guitars do not come in plastic packaging.  Your ideal guitar should not be overly heavy or featherlight.  Also, guitars are not commonly associated with the post natal products.

unless you intend to perform for the an extremely elderly (read senile) audience, i would suggest not buying the item featured on the left.
HAND GRIP TECHNIQUE

most single and lonely men would be familiar with this technique (first pic).  however familiar, this method should never be applied to guitar playing

the second pic however show a better method of gripping the guitar.  I know, i know, it still looks wrong.

the third picture is the correct way to hold the guitar fret board with your hand.  the spot marked X on the hand shows where the contact points are.

and for your information, it is a cross section view. the picture is not showing a hand holding a wedgie.
On to more stuff!
