| THIRD LEG OF THIS SEGMENT (HOT LICK NUMBER THREE) The BleepingDeath Lick Ok this will sound almost impossible to do but believe me, its only finger tapping shit. Dont worry if you fail at first. It only means you're a retard just like when i first started. What i did here was just to play an E minor pentatonic scale up from EDE (on D string) GAA# (on G string) BD (on B string) EG (on E string) then used right hand middle finger and fourth finger to tap A and B then pull off with my fretting hand, the G to E and tap with my fretting hand G and repeat the finger tapping again... repeat for good measure. Ok if you are a beginner and you managed to do that stuff i just described, i will bend over and let you kick my ass!!!! (i know you cant do it hahahahahahhaha) but dont give up. One day you will be able to kick my ass. Well if you enjoy more pain, here is the second part of the lick. more finger tapping shit to do to make those death bleeps. Example : on the high E string, fret the E, tap with right hand G and pull off then use fretting hand to tap G and use right hand to tap A and pull of to G and fretting hand pull off to E. Again, repeat for good measure. To shift to the next string descending ie. B string, simply tap with fretting hand the D note on the B string and tap the E note on the B string with your right hand. repeat the pattern you just learnt on the B string. Yeah you probably think i'm shitting ya. No i'm not i swear. it works. You just have to take my word for it. The lick ends with a bend on the G string when you shift the pattern down to it. Essentially the bend is on the A note on the G string bending it up to B, then hitting the D note on the B string. ENOUGH OF MY YAKKN... CLICK THE PIC TO LISTEN ------>> |

But seriously this builds on the same tapping pattern you just heard up there, only ascending to a kickass bend and vibrato!!!! If you practice that concept up there enough, you will get it eventually. Seriously if you practice SLOWLY and i really mean SLOWLY you will be able to co-ordinate your fingers to do the tapping right as well as in time so that it doesnt sound like diahorrea on a hot summer's day.
