28/12/04 Humanitarian Fund Gig
The Lodge, Ballyhea, Co. Cork.

Bands:
Fred
Pat O' Sullivan
Purgatory
Drunken Leper

By far one of the best gigs we've ever pulled off. It really was a brilliant gig. Ger Fitz had asked us to play (Since we played at his Charity gig the year before) and we're really grateful once again for his generosity in letting us on stage to play a few songs. Fred were the headliners once again while Drunken Leper, us and Pat O' Sullivan's band were the supporting acts. Drunken Leper took to the stage to perform a few originals and covers including Metallica's 'No Leaf Clover' (from S&M). They pulled it off quite well and the headbanging eventually commenced toward the middle of their set as people began to get merry.

We were up next, and we played a good set. We really enjoyed the feedback. Lots of photos were taken and we got great support from the Drunken Leper guys who moshed gracefully to our songs from start to finish. Everyone was in their element and we certainly entertained our audience. Worshippings took place during the introduction solos of Frank, Enda & Stephen. The Critic/Addict was probably elated with the fact that Enda played Eddie Van Halen's 'Eruption' and 'Sun Devil' which was one of his favourites. Pat O' Sullivan's performance was quite hazy to us cuz most of us were drunk by the time he came on and Fred's performance was probably exceptional too. In all, a great night for us.
