Lason, Charles E.

Charles E. Lason was living in Atlas at the outbreak of the Civil War.

At age 19 he enlisted in Company H of the 2nd Michigan Volunteer Infantry.

He survived the war and was mustered out as a Corporal.

After the war he became a member of GAR Post #. 188 George C. Whitney in Hadley, Mich. and Post #. 166 C. Colgrove Mich.
