    AFTERNOON SHOW

    The Vipers -vs- The Sainthood
Winners enter three team main event

The PWG faithful no by now that The Vipers are no fan favorites and they were treated accordingly on their way to the ring. The Sainthood, though, are virtual unknowns in PWG and were met with mixed reactions. A handshake - and a stereo clothesline from the Vipers start it off! They both take down the members of the Sainthood in a sneaky move, starting this one off quickly!

Kade is lifted to his feet - he's immediately thrown out of the ring. The Vipers turn back to Julian Cross now. They lift him up and whip him to the ropes; he comes back - wham! Double boot to the stomach. Vipers hit opposite ropes and come back - they sandwich Cross' head in between two big boots! Cross falls to his knees and now the Vipers run to the ropes ahead and behind Cross. They charge back - clothesline to the front from Bane and a shoulder block to the back from Payne! Cross is sandwiched again and The Vipers are in control!

Kade rolls back into the ring, though. The Vipers are getting up and he charges - double clothesline takes both men down! Payne gets back up and meets a standing back body drop. Bane rises and Kade whips him to the far side. He bounces back as Kade charges at him - spinning elbow to the jaw and chest. Bane hits the mat hard and now Kade drops a knee across his chest. The referee has finally situated this one, leaving Kade and Bane as the legal men. Kade pulls him back to his feet and rocks him with a stiff forearm shot to the side of the head. Bane tries to walk it off but Kade pulls him back in for another! And a third! Bane shoves Kade away and now gets the chance to shake those shots away. Kade comes back quickly, though, shoving Bane into the corner. He nails him with another forearm before whipping him him to the far side. He hits hard and stays, Kade charges in - running shoulder to the stomach! Wait, Kade locks his arms around Bane's body and keeps his shoulder in place, backing out of the corner. He lifts him up onto his shoulders - Spicolli Driver! Kade plants Bane hard on the back of his neck! He rolls over for the cover - only a two before Payne charges in and breaks it up with a stomp to Kade's head.

Kade is getting back up, now tagging in Cross. Cross leaps in over the top rope, stomping over to the fallen body of Bane. He yanks him to his feet and sends him into the ropes. Kick to the stomach - no, Bane catches his foot! He spins him around... spinebuster! Bane drives him right down into the canvas and quickly rolls to his corner, tagging in Justin Payne!

Payne charges into the ring and drops a quick elbow to the chest of Cross. Lifts him up now, connecting with a rising forearm blow to the face. Cross drops to a knee and now Payne charges into the ropes. He comes back - Cross leaps up for a clothesline! Payne catches him arm - he's trying to pull him down into a Crippler Crossface, but he can't muscle him down! Wait - Bane comes into the ring and leaps at Cross - DDT! He plants Cross with a DDT, and now Payne locks on the submission hold! Kade charges in - the ref holds him back, and now Bane picks up Cross' legs into a Boston Crab! What a painful combination of moves! Bane lets go after a few seconds and slides out of the ring just as the referee turns back around.

With his legs free, Cross is able to quickly swing around and hook the bottom rope with his feet. Payne lets go at the four count. He gets back up and drags Cross with him, tagging in Bane. Whip to the ropes and Payne drops down to the canvas. Cross leaps over him - right into an inverted Russian legsweep from Bane! Another nice show of crisp teamwork! Pin attempt but Cross kicks out at two. Bane lifts him back up and another quick tag to his partner. He holds Cross open and Payne comes in, rocking him with a hard double axe handle to the chest.

Bane exits and Payne is back to work. He shoves Cross into a neutral corner and begins stomping him in the chest! Six, seven, eight of 'em! Cross looks beat! He's whipped to the far corner and connects chest-first. Payne runs up behind him - clothesline to the back and Cross hits the corner again! Payne runs to the ropes and gets a blind tag from Bane; Payne comes back off as Cross stumbles backwards out of the corner. He hits the opposite ropes and clotheslines Cross to his back! He hits hard and now Bane is in position on the apron - WHOA! A springboard legdrop! A surprise move from a big man! Another two count only, this time Kade breaks it up.

He grabs Payne and throws him to the arena floor! He exits now and follows Payne to the outside. Whip into the steel railing!

Back inside, Bane has Cross up again. He whips him into the ropes and he comes charging back - Bane clutches him... The Bane of Hummanity! He connects with that HUGE chokeslam! He covers - one! Two! Three - Kade is too late for the save!

After the match, both teams met up in the center of the ring; they exchanged their handshakes before The Vipers celebrated their big win.

    Winners: The Vipers

    Rebellious Youth -vs- Iconoclasm
Winners enter three team main event

Both teams received very favorable responses here, with Rebellious Youth's being a little larger due to their longevity in PWG thus far. All four men gladly shook hands and then split up for Harry Kewell and Jason McNeill to start it off; this one should be lightning fast!

Both men come to the center and lock it up. Trying to overpower one another here, but no one is budging just yet. Back legsweep from Kewell, and McNeill goes down; elbow drop, no, Jameson rolls away! He's up to his feet and leaps for a legdrop - now Kewell rolls away. McNeill winces in pain on the mat, a rough landing, and Kewell swings for a kick - McNeill ducks backwards, then kips up when the leg passes! He leaps - WHAM! Pele kick, right to the back of Kewell's head! What a wild move, and this crowd is getting behind McNeill already! He's back to his feet and drags Kewell to his feet, quickly tagging in Jameson. He comes in and connects with a brisk forearm to the face of Kewell. Harry is trying to get his thoughts together; he got caught with the toe of McNeill's boot before!

Jameson backs Harry into the corner now and climbs up to the second rope. He grabs him by the head - oh! A knee strike into the face! Jameson jumps up now - plants both feet on the chest and backflips into the ring! Kewell stumbles out and Jameson grabs him once more... head and arm suplex! Jameson quickly rips him to his feet neglecting the pin attempt and instead tags in his partner, Jason McNeill. He leaps over the top rope and just rocks Kewell with a diving forearm to the face! Kewell stumbles back and drops to a knee. McNeill runs to the ropes and comes back - Kewell is up! McNeill slides under his legs. Kewell bends down to catch him but he can't; he stands back up - OH! Superkick from Jameson, who was still in the ring! Kewell flies back and McNeill catches him in a full nelson - into a face slam! Brilliant team work, and now McNeill covers - Jeff comes in and breaks it up!

McNeill back to his feet, pulling Harry up as well. Stiff European upper cut. Harry is leaning on the ropes and he looks winded. Whip to the far side from McNeill; no, it gets reversed. McNeill on the rebound and Harry puts his head down... he jumps onto Harry's back! Harry stands up - McNeill leaps into the air - hurricanrana!! Kewell gets whipped right outta the ring! What a daredevil! Harry is getting up to his feet looking very groggy outside of the ring. McNeill gets to the far ropes and charges; cartwheel - handspring backflip - moonsault!!! He just destroyed Harry Kewell! What a move! This crowd is appreciative of McNeill's abilities so far - they'd be crazy not to be! Both men are writhing on the floor outside of the ring - here comes Jeff! And now Jameson jumps down as well. Jeff is trying to gather his brother, while Jameson keeps a keen eye locked on the brothers. He's helping McNeill up, and now both legal men make their returns to the ring.

McNeill is on his feet while Kewell is clutching the back of his head; he hit hard on the floor. McNeill lifts him to his feet and drags him to the Iconoclasm corner. Wait - Kewell breaks the grip - jawbreaker! McNeill falls to his knees and Kewell runs and leaps - Jeff gets tagged in, and McNeill tags in Jameson! Both men charge in and Jeff nails McNeill with an elbow to the top of the head. He gets back up - dropkick! McNeill charges Jeff, but gets nailed with a leg lariat. Jameson back up and charges at Jeff once more. Kick to the stomach - faceplant driver! McNeill is up and he just grabbed Jeff by the head, ripping him to his feet. Boot to the ribs - uh oh, here comes a piledriver! No! Harry dropkicks McNeill in the back! He flips over Jeff, lands on his back - standing moonsault from Jeff! Harry exits the ring and now Jeff is on the ropes, playing to the crowd... what a mistake! He turns back to the-waitasecond... he turns back around and he's looking at something, someone... hey, that's Aimee Harper, Brandon Williams' manager! She's strutting to the ring and she's got Jeff's full attention! He needs to get his head in the game! His brother is yelling at him from the apron but Jeff just waves him off. He's on the second rope showing off his body to Aimee - Jameson charges at Harry and knocks him off of the apron and at the same time McNeill charges towards the corner... leap to the second rope, twisting flip and into a powerbomb on Jeff!! He rocks him hard and spins him around on the mat - Jameson going to the top rope! FALL FROM GRACE!!! He just killed Jeff Kewell with a beautiful Shooting Star Legdrop! He hooks him for the cover - Harry charges back in... kick to the stomach from Jameson, who spins around... hooks him up - The Cure! He folds him up, and it's a double pin - one! Two! Three! Iconoclasm enter the final match of the night!

    Winners: Iconoclasm

Post match Aimee Harper came into the ring and celebrated gleefully with Iconoclasm. The Kewells eventually got up, and Jeff seemed none too pleased with Harper. Nonetheless, all four men shook hands before their departures.

    Six Man Battle Royal
Wreck, Omega, Mark Sherrick, Stevie Erickson, James Halford, Brandon Williams

It's time for what has now become a six man battle royal. Adam Jenkins parted ways with Pro Wrestling Glory this week, and so he is out of the match. The other seven men have made their entrances, though, and we're ready to go!

I'm not so sure any of these folks will work together. Wreck is standing alone in one corner, and he showed a noticeable limp on his way to the ring this afternoon. Omega is also standing by himself in a corner. Everyone else is just kind of scattered around, waiting for the first move - oh! Mark Sherrick out of nowhere just superkicked Stevie Erickson! And now everyone charges into the center of the ring - Wreck, Omega, Halford, Williams; they're all brawling in the center! Sherrick is kind of sitting back just admiring the mess he created. He's laying in the stomps to the body of Erickson - Wreck whips Halford into the corner and over - no, he hangs on! Wreck charges in - Halford gets the boots up and Wreck stumbles backwards... gets dropkicked in the back from Williams! Wreck flies forward - Halford back body drops him... WRECK IS GONE!! He flies right over the top rope! He landed on his feet on the floor, but he just collapsed; he's clutching at his leg! Wreck could be hurt, an aggrevation of the hurt Chip Masters laid down on him last month!

    Wreck has been eliminated.

Down to five men here, Williams nailing Halford with a stiff forearm blast in the corner. Halford comes back with one of his own, and Williams connects again. Omega's not gonna watch that for long - he just nailed a splash onto both men in the corner! Halford falls to the mat but Omega hooks up Williams - exploder suplex! Williams gets dumped on his skull! Omega leaps back up to his feet as Halford stands up - release German suplex! Omega back up - Sherrick whips Erickson into him! OHH! Overhead belly to belly, and Erickson flies into the corner! Omega is on fire! He gets back up again and Sherrick charges him! BAM! Knee lift from Sherrick! He leaps to the second rope - uh oh! Front face lock on Omega - Tornado DDT! NO! Omega holds Sherrick down on his feet and hooks him up around the waist - OHH!! Holy crap! A tremendous move, a backflip Northern Lights Suplex! Omega has just laid to waste all of the men in the ring, and this crowd is showing that they appreciate his efforts!

Williams is the first one to get up, shaking off the effects of the suplex he took earlier. European uppercut from Omega, catching Williams before he can attack. He nails another one, sending Williams into the corner. He whips him to the far side - Omega charges in... spinning back elbow! And now a stunner in the corner! Williams flops over to his back - lookout... OHH! Omega was in a sitting position on the canvas in the corner from hitting that stunner and Halford just ran in and kicked him square in the face! What a brutal move! Omega loses the advantage suddenly, and now Halford picks him up to his feet. He's sitting him up on the top rope! And now he's climbing up as well; this isn't a smart move at all! Halford is hooking up Omega - wait, Sherrick! He's nailing Halford in the back! Halford pauses to turn slightly - WHAM! Kick to the face! Sherrick collapses to his hands and knees on the mat, and now Halford turns back to Omega. He hooks him up in a front face lock again and pulls Omega to his feet. Superplex coming! Wait - Williams is up! He charges the corner - he leaps off of the back of Sherrick - DROPKICK!! OH, SWEET JESUS!! Halford and Omega fly off of the top and CRASH THROUGH the ringside barrier! They just broke the railing! They're both out of the match, and by God, possibly out of action for a long time! These two are just FINISHED!

    Omega has been eliminated.

    James Halford has been eliminated.

We're down to three now, and this crowd is just on their feet! Erickson is getting up and Williams stomps over towards him. He nails a forearm blast to the face, sending Stevie into the ropes. He grabs him by the hair - jumping double kneelift to the face! Erickson flies backwards into the corner and now Williams whips him to the far side. Erickson hits hard and Williams bounces off of the ropes. Sherrick is getting up - Williams leaps at Erickson... flying headlock - enziguiri to Sherrick! And a headlock takeover as an after effect on Erickson! What a move! Williams pops back up and grabs a hold of Erickson's leg. He rolls him onto his stomach and lifts the leg into the air - slams the knee down onto the mat! He lifts it into the air again - wait - OH! This time he KICKS the knee on the way down! Erickson rolls away, clutching his leg in pain as Brandon Williams owns the ring!

Sherrick is getting up behind him - Williams turns right around and grabs a hold of him. He pulls him up to his feet and connects with a big kneelift to the stomach. Sherrick flies backwards and lands on his knees. He's getting up to a foot and Williams backs up a step. He runs forward - Shining Wizard! He smashes the knee into the side of Sherrick's head, sending him down to the canvas! The crowd is on their feet for Brandon Williams who is just dominating this battle royal!

He goes back over to Erickson - but he gets nailed in the stomach. Stevie is up to his feet and connects with a forearm to Williams' face. Brandon stumbles backwards and Erickson grabs him by the arm; whip to the far ropes. Brandon hangs on - Erickson charges! BACK BODY DROP! Erickson lands on the apron, though! Williams turns around - Erickson waffles him with a hard elbow to the face! He flies to the canvas - wait, Sherrick is up! He charges towards the ropes - jumps to the second and spins... TORNADO DDT ON ERICKSON! WHAM! Sherrick DDTs Erickson onto the apron - and yes, Stevie falls onto the floor while Sherrick rolls back in!

    Stevie Erickson has been eliminated.

Williams is up inside and Sherrick comes over towards him; these two are nose to nose! Sherrick shoves him and Williams stumbles back with a grin on his face. He comes back and shoves Sherrick just as hard! Sherrick flies back and now he charges at him - dropkick to the knees from Williams! Sherrick eats canvas and Williams is back up. Sherrick is up as well and charges - hiptoss from Williams - he lands Sherrick back-first on his knee! What a variation! Sherrick is rolling towards the ropes but Williams advances quickly. He pulls him up and backs him into a corner. European uppercut from Williams and Sherrick slumps into the corner. Williams stands him back up and whips him to the far side. Sherrick hits chest first and Williams charges; clothesline attempt, but Sherrick ducks! Williams flies face-first into the corner! He turns around - kick to the stomach from Sherrick! Front chancery - he runs up the ropes... Tornado DDT! NO! Williams lands him on his feet! He pauses and - Northern Lights - WHOOOOOOOA!! Williams nails a release Northern Lights Suplex, and Sherrick falls to the floor! Brandon Williams is your winner!

    Winner: Brandon Williams

    MAIN EVENT
The Vipers -vs- Iconoclasm -vs- Too Hood

All three teams have made their entrances, although Lena D is the only female at ringside. Aimee Harper's cameo appearance with Iconoclasm earlier tonight seems to be a one shot deal. The hand shakes are exchanged and we're going to start off with Mac Diaz and Chris Jameson.

These two are pretty evenly matched physically, so we'll see how they square up in the ring. Tie up in the center and Jameson immediately locks on a side headlock. Into a quick hammerlock - and a big forearm into the small of the back! Jameson keeps the hold on and nails another shot to Diaz's spine. Mac is trying to reach back and grab Chris, but he's keeping his head tilted back. He rocks his back with another forearm and then slides forward into another headlock. Mac backs Chris into the ropes and whips him to the far side. Mac drops to a knee, holding his back; he stands back up and is immediately floored with a shoulder block! Chris pauses shortly to look down at him, then shoots to the ropes. He comes back and Mac flips to his stomach - Chris jumps onto his back! OHH! And a standing moonsault onto him! A nice combo from Jameson! He stays on the canvas, driving his knee into the back of Mac while pulling back on his head. Jameson has come into this one looking to work the back for one reason or another, and he's doing just that against Mac. Mac is reaching for the ropes, but Jameson is keeping him in place. Jameson quickly switches gears, though, yanking Mac to his feet and slapping on another side headlock. Quick to the corner and a tag to Jason McNeill.

Jameson still has the headlock on and McNeill leaps to the top rope - double axe handle to Mac's back. Diaz drops to his knees and McNeill hits a quick dropkick to the back, sending Mac throat-first into the second rope. Jason charges into the far ropes - blind tag from Bane! Jason spins around at the ropes - ohh! He gets rocked by a vicious clothesline! Bane floors him and enters the ring, stomping over to Mac. He lifts him to his feet and whips him into the far ropes - he lifts him into a bear hug! He's picking off where Iconoclasm left off, but capitalizing on this situation; this is NOT elimination, the first team that scores a fall will win. Mac is struggling in the arms of Bane who is just squeezing the life out of him. Not a move you see very often, but this throwback to the golden days of wrestling is working well for Bane. Diaz looks like he's starting to drift now, and Bane starts whipping him around like a rag doll! Diaz is almost lifeless here! The referee is coming in and he lifts Mac's arm - it drops once! He lifts it again... wait, here comes Lauderdale - OHH!! He flies and nails Bane above the ear with the butt of his elbow! Bane goes down like a sack of bricks and now Lauderdale is dragging Mac to the Too Hood corner. He goes to the apron - there's the tag! Lauderdale jumps back inside and rushes over to Bane. He mounts him on the ground - forearm! Another! Another! Elbow to the top of the head! Forearm! Elbow! He rolls him over onto his stomach and pulls his head back - he swings and nails the inside of his elbow across the face of Bane! Again! Lauderdale jumps to his feet - he just annihilated Jameson on the apron with a rolling elbow! He turns around and runs towards Payne - flying double knees to the face! McNeill comes into the ring and charges at Lauderdale - STO takedown from "The Original Gangster!" He just cleaned house and he didn't even have to!

Lauderdale turns his attention back to Bane, and folks, this looks like some new found aggression in Adrian! He's trying to muscle the big man to his feet and gets him to his knees so far. That's good enough for Lauderdale, I guess. He runs to the ropes and comes back - Yakuza kick to the half-fallen monster! Bane collapses to the mat again and Adrian covers... lookit that! Jameson, McNeill, AND Payne reach in, grab his legs, and pull him out of the ring! Lauderdale is on his feet outside and he's in the middle of three angry opponents! He looks around at them and... and he's grinning and chuckling? Everything has stopped for a second - oh!! Back elbow to Payne, back kick to Jameson's stomach - but McNeill grabs him by the head, spins him around - WHAM! Into the steel railing! And now he's stomping away on the body of Lauderdale. Jameson joins in and now here comes Payne, stomping away as well!

The three are having a field day here... wait - Mac is up! Everyone forgot about Mac! He's climbing to the top rope! He's perched up there and Payne sees him - he points... shoves Iconoclasm - OHH! Mac flies off and hits a crossbody block onto Iconoclasm! Payne goes unscathed by shoving the two men forward! He pulls Lauderdale up now and rolls him into the ring. Payne leaps onto the apron and he's screaming for Bane to make the tag. Bane is trying to roll over and - oh, look at that! Adrian Lauderdale has some blood trickling down his face! He got busted open in that melee outside! He's trying to regain some lost energy but it doesn't look like he'll have very long - Bane just reached out and BARELY catches a tag from Payne! Justin comes into the ring and lifts Adrian to his feet... forearn shot right to the cut! And now an elbow into it! Another elbow - oh, he's just grinding his elbow into the wound! Adrian doesn't even have the energy to squirm out of it!

Justin picks him up and pushes him into the corner. Currently, these are the only two men active in the match. Boot to the stomach followed by another. Justin whips him into the far side. Adrian hits hard and now Justin is... walking towards him? He's just strolling over with anger in his eyes. He reaches Adrian - he swings for the fences - WHAM! A HORRID clothesline that nearly takes off Adrian's head! He stumbles out and collapses into the center of the ring, and now Justin goes for the cover! One! Two! Thr-

WHOA! Outta nowhere, The Markout from Chris Jameson! He lands on Payne, effectively doing damage to both men in the ring, but also himself! All three men are down in the ring clutching at their bodies while the referee tries to make sense of the situation. He's laying down a count on the two obviously legal men, while Jameson just kind of lays in a fetal position on the canvas next to them. Payne is starting to show signs of life, trying to get up while Adrian is rolling towards the ropes. Jason McNeill pulls himself to the apron and he tags himself in at Adrian's expense! He enters the ring, a little battle worn, but he lifts Payne to his feet. Stiff upper cut from McNeill sends Payne reeling. McNeill backs into the ropes and charges back - rolling forearm blast! Payne drops to the canvas and now McNeill is lifting him right back up... and Jameson is offering a helping hand! They're sitting Payne on the top rope and I have a good idea of what's coming up! Both men are climbing up and they hook Payne - wait! Mac just slapped McNeill's leg, and I don't think he noticed! The ref is calling that a legal tag - OHHHH JEEZ! REMEMBERANCE!! They just flattened Payne, and both members of Iconoclasm are rolling around on the canvas as well! Mac is climbing up the same corner Iconoclasm just nailed Payne from and... Mac Attack! He blasts all of the air out of Payne's body, and he hooks him up! One! Two! THREE!! There it is!

    Winners: Too Hood

For the second time, Mac Diaz picks up the pin and win in tag team competition. All of the team members were down for quite some time but eventually got up to their feet. Once they were up, all six men upheld the Pillars of Glory and shook hands. Iconoclasm and The Vipers exited separately, while Too Hood celebrated a rough, and in Adrian's case, a bloody victory this afternoon.

    EVENING SHOW

    PWG Heavyweight Title Tournament
    Bracket One Semi-Final

John Iley -vs- "Skyhigh" Bobby Skylark

Two great fan favorites are ready to kick off tonight's main show with a bang! The crowd was happy to see both men and the two gladly shook hands in the center of the ring; Skylark even shook Leigh's hand with a grin on his face. After the pleasantries, this one was ready to rock!

Standard collar and elbow tie up in the center and Iley is quick to extend Skylark's arm into an armbar. He twists hard on it, but Skylark rolls forward, then up to his feet. Reversal and now Iley is on the receiving end. Iley grabs Skylark around the head; he's turning it into a neckbreaker! No, Skylark quickly lets go of the armbar and rushes away from Iley. Both men spin back around and eye each other, ready to make a move.

Another tie up in the center and now Iley is just over-powering Skylark. He's pushing him down to hte mat, and Skylark is on one knee. Iley has the lockup tight and steps onto the extended leg of Skylark. He leaps into the air and spins - he grabs the arm... cross arm breaker on the mat! Iley out of nowhere locks up Skylark, who gets to the ropes with rapid fire speed. Iley immediately lets go, showing some good sportsmanship. Skylark gets back up and his arm looks to be in good shape, not really being locked in the hold long enough to do big damage.

The two allow one another to get to their feet again and come to the center. Another lock up and now Iley slaps Skylark quickly into a high wristlock. Skylark locks his hands together, though, stopping Iley's hold. John is still trying - wait... he back leg sweeps Skylark and picks up his leg - elbow into the knee! He's up, and another! And now he wrenches on the leg; Iley made Skylark think he was working an arm-based attack, and just when Skylark's full attention was on protecting that arm, Iley goes after the leg!

John rolls back to his feet and now he twists the foot of Skylark, torquing "Skyhigh" in an inhumane fashion. Skylark lets out a scream of agony, but Iley does not relent. He spins into a spinning toe hold, once again bending the knee of Skylark. He spins it into a toe hold again - wait - small package from Skylark! One! Two! No! Iley rolls out of it and gets to his feet, Skylark as well. Iley charges - oh! He kicks Bobby in the back of the leg and he hits the canvas hard! Iley backs up... headbutt?! Headbutt to the knee! I don't know if that was English style or just plain mean, but for now we'll call it effective. Iley is up again and he lifts Skylark's leg into the air. He's crooking it a little bit and... ouch! European uppercut to the inside of the knee! Another one! Iley is working on the leg in ways I've never seen before; just another example of this English style most of the PWG'ers aren't used to.

Iley spins around the leg, figure four coming up! No, Skylark kicks him off and into the ropes. Bobby gets up quick as Iley bounces back. Elbow from Skylark! Iley reels back and charges again; sidestep from Skylark and Iley runs into the ropes. He comes back - hiptoss from Skylark... no, Iley puts on the breaks! Skylark nails him in the stomach, doubling him over. He places a leg over the back of Iley's head, ready to flip - wait, Iley grabs his foot and faceplants Skylark on the canvas! He puts a foot on the back of his knee and lifts it into the air - BAM! Right down into the canvas! Ingenuity is the key here for John Iley! He rolls Skylark over and hooks up the leg... single leg crab coming! No, Skylark pulls his legs in - and pushes them out, sending Iley flying into the corner!

Bobby gets to his feet slowly and now he cautiously makes his way towards Iley. Iley grabs him and spins him into the corner! Forearm blast from the Englishman! Whip to the far side - reversal from Bobby! Iley hits hard and Bobby charges, but he's not running at full speed. Nonetheless, he rocks Iley with a big splash in the corner - into an inverted stunner! Iley gets jaw-jacked on that one and flops down to the canvas, clutching at not only his chin but now his throat as well. Skylark limps to his feet and uses the ropes for support; he's hanging off of the canvas and stomping Iley's chest with his good leg! Skylark is using just as much wit as Iley did earlier!

The referee is quick to tell Skylark to let up, since both men are right in the ropes. Skylark lets go and now he's trying to walk around the ring, working the hurt out of that leg. He shakes it out a few times, and now he's massaging the knee. Iley is getting up and Skylark walks over to him, putting a little more pressure on the leg now. He nails Iley across the back of the neck as he's trying to get up. He pulls him up the rest of the way and whips him into the ropes. Iley comes back and Skylark boots him in the ribs. Skylark runs to the side ropes and jumps onto the middle rope. He springs off and twists - wait - OHH! Discus clothesline from Iley! He catches Skylark in mid-air and drops him like a sack of bricks! That collision took the wind out of both men, though, and now Iley finds himself on the mat right alongside Skylark. The referee is laying down the count here and Skylark is still giving attention to that knee. At the six count Iley is up while Skylark is at a knee.

John pulls him up and backs him into the corner. Whip to the far side - reversal! Skylark is still in it! He runs, and he's running hard! Clothesline in the corner to Iley! Skylark pulls him out - no, John is hanging onto the ropes! Skylark tries again, Iley holds on - oh! Skylark lets go and shakes that knee! He put too much pressure on it! He comes back and rocks Iley with a forearm. Shoulder to the ribs, and now Iley is lifted to the top rope. Skylark shakes that leg out again. He makes his way to the top and he's signalling to the crowd... hurrican... no, Iley throws him off! OHH!! Skylark lands on his feet, but collapses to his knees on the mat! Iley is still sitting on the top and Skylark hobbles to his feet. He comes into the corner - leaping palm strike to the chest! Skylark lands on one foot and now he's climbing to the top again... hurricanrana! NO! Iley hangs onto the top, but Skylark keeps the headscissors locked! Iley is pulling him up - uh oh, watchout! POWERBOMB!!! Powerbomb from the second rope! Iley is quick to his feet and hooks up Skylark's legs... The Geordie Factor!! Iley's got his Sharpshooter submission locked on, and it's locked on in the center of the ring and TIGHT! Iley is really pulling back and Skylark is trying to fight it! The crowd is split here, half screaming for Iley to pull back harder, half telling Skylark to fight it! Leigh is yelling words of encouragement, and Iley's face is full of aggression! He's got Skylark tied up! Bobby is still trying to fight it... he's starting to fade! Iley pulls back harder - oh, Skylark lets out a scream... he gives up! He just gave it up! John Iley just beat Bobby Skylark!!!

    Winner: John Iley

The crowd responded to the finale of this match with a mix of surprise and joy. On one hand, a great competitor won, but on the other hand, PWG homestead Bobby Skylark was just shut out of becoming the first Heavyweight Champion. Iley seemed just as shocked as anyone, just staring open-mouthed at the fallen Skylark for a few moments after he got back to his feet. Leigh joined him at his side, but Iley was quick to help Skylark to his feet. The two shook hands and embraced, Skylark looking a little worse for the wear and with watery eyes. Instead of showboating in the ring, Iley opted to help Skylark back to the dressing room area. John Iley will now go on and face a fresh Jonathan Collins later on in the evening in the finals of Bracket One.

    Bracket Two Semi-Final

Shawn "The Beauty" Braxton -vs- Joshua "The Purist" Frampton

Both men made their entrances, with the crowd favoring Frampton and his valet, Hilary Bennett. Braxton received his usual bout of boos and jeers, soaking up every last one of them. These two met two months back in a match that took many by surprise; was Braxton more prepared than everyone thought he would be, or was Frampton just looking over him? Tonight we'll find out for sure, as both men will be fully focused on a semi-final victory. A hand shake and a ring of the bell and we're ready to get this one started!

Frampton is going back to the corner, commenting something toward Hilary - Braxton comes from behind and nails him! Frampton his the canvas and now Shawn is stomping away on his back! Early on, Frampton has already made one mistake that could cost him big. Braxton lifts him up to his feet and connects with a forearm shiver. Frampton stumbles away holding his chin. Braxton spins him back around and nails another one. Frampton stumbles away once more, again clutching at his face. Braxton grabs him and spins him around harder this time; forearm shot - no, Frampton double axe handles the forearm! Braxton stutters back a step as Frampton spins from the force of his shot - clothesline takes Braxton down! Frampton shakes away the cobwebs and pulls Braxton to his feet.

Frampton turns Braxton away from him and locks on a full nelson. No nonsense from Joshua, he's trying to force Braxton out of this one! Braxton is trying to strugle free, but Frampton has him locked pretty tightly and he's moving toward the center of the ring. Braxton swings a leg back but Frampton sidesteps and dodges it. That would've been a low blow for sure! Braxton tries the other leg and Frampton again dodges. Frampton steps back, getting some space between himself and Braxton... and drives a knee into his lower back! Braxton arches his back and now Frampton is... spinning?! He's spinning in a circle with Braxton locked in the full nelson! Braxton is off of his feet and Frampton is just twirling around! 8 revolutions, 9, 10! Frampton is slowing down, skidding Braxton's feet on the mat. They come to a complete stop and Frampton locks him up tighter... Dragon suplex! He just dumped Braxton on the top of his head!

Braxton is rolling away from Frampton who is kind of out of it himself. Spinning around like that seems to have discombobulated him. Frampton is on his hands and knees taking deep breaths, trying to see straight again. Braxton is laying under the corner turnbuckle clutching the top of his head. Frampton slowly rises and walks - wait... stumbles over to Braxton. He pulls his near-limp body to his feet and shoves him into the corner... standing clothesline drives Braxton deeper into the corner! Frampton shoves him down into the ring; Braxton goes to a knee and Frampton charges the far ropes. He comes charging back as Braxton wobbles to his feet - he ducks Frampton's clothesline attempt. Braxton reaches back... neckbreaker on tap! No, Frampton spins it around and hooks up Shawn - fisherman buster! He drops Frampton sharply on the back of his head and neck!

Frampton gets up a bit quicker now, but he only sits Braxton up. He shoves him right against the ropes, chest-first. Frampton runs to the far ropes and comes back - OHH! Running kick to the back of the neck! Braxton hits the rope and then snaps back to to canvas - a double impact move to the neck from Frampton! He nudges him over onto his stomach with his foot, then spins to face the nearest adjacent ropes. He leaps onto the second one, grabs onto the top rope and kicks his legs back, releasing the grip... kneedrop to the back of Braxton's neck! Joshua drags him by the head into the center of the ring... that's just cruel! He pulls Braxton to his feet and kicks him in the ribs. Spins him around and hooks the arms - this is bad... TIGER SUPLEX! Frampton spikes him on the neck again! He's rolling through and to his feet, though, maintaining the lock on Braxton! He spins him around... tomikaze! That's step two of Pure Poetry 2, and now he rolls over... wait, he's not going for the Rings of Saturn finale??

Braxton is near-dead on the mat, but Frampton is getting up and lifting his adversary as well. He grabs Braxton and... oh, no! He couldn't be... yes, he is! He's signalling for a piledriver! This could end EVERYTHING for Braxton! Frampton lifts him up... he's got him locked! Wait - Braxton is kicking his legs! Frampton wobbles back and drops Braxton to his knees. Shawn pulls back and - BAM! European upper cut outta nowhere! Frampton stumbles away and comes back... The Ripoff! NO! Frampton catches his foot! He spins Braxton around - boot to the stomach... Rocker Dropper - uh oh - Nagata lock 2! Frampton is putting that hold to use, harshly pulling back on Braxton's neck! Frampton has him in all sorts of trouble... and yes, there it is! Braxton gives up!

    Winner: Joshua Frampton

Frampton immediately releases the hold and gets to his feet. Two submission victories in two tournament matches thus far! Frampton doesn't look too worse for the wear here; he wisely put Braxton away early because if he wants to become Champion, he's going to have to wrestle two more times tonight! Braxton got to his feet under his own power, refusing to allow the referee to help him. He shook the hand of Frampton and then exited unhappily while Joshua and Hilary celebrated the win.

    Bracket Two Semi-Final

"The Prodigy" Alex Hudson -vs- "The American Champion" Chip Masters

The entrances here were the exact opposite of Skylark versus Iley earlier. Instead of two solid fan favorites, the crowd was booing these two the whole way to the ring! Hudson's second, "Princess" Candace Ford, didn't help his case much, either, getting into it with fans on the way to the ring. Nonetheless, both men were in the ring and shook each others hands before the bell sounded.

Masters comes to the middle, calling Hudson on for a lock up... but Hudson is saying no with a grin on his face! He's shaking his finger "No," and Masters is irate! He wants to start it off with technical wrestling, but Hudson doesn't want to... perhaps he doesn't want to fall into a Chip Masters trap. Hudson is grinning and jogging around the ring, warming himself up... and Masters charges at him! Hudson sidesteps and Masters hits the corner. Hudson spins and nails him with a forearm! Another, and now a whip to the far side. Reversal and Hudson hits hard. He charges back out as Masters runs at him as well. Hudson ducks under a clothesline and spins around, locking Masters in a back waistlock! He's trying for a German suplex, but Masters hooks his legs around Hudson's to keep himself grounded. Hudson lets go of the lock and Masters lands on his feet and immediately runs to the ropes. He comes back - knee to the stomach from Hudson; no, Masters jumps into it and rolls over into a rollup... no, he gets to his feet and he's going for a Boston Crab! He's trying to put Hudson into his own move, but Alex quickly gets to the ropes.

Masters lets go of the legs and is backed off by the official while Hudson gets to his feet and he looks none too happy! Candace hurries over toward him and the two are whispering strategy right now. Hudson nods his head and Masters is complaining to the ref about Ford - what a kook! Hudson gets up and he's calling Masters on. Masters is the one shaking his head no this time! Hudson is getting irate! The roles are completely reversed now! Hudson is walking towards Masters, guess he's gonna lock it - ohhh! A slap to the face from Hudson! Masters head snaps to the side and he's slowly turning it back. He makes eye contact with Hudson... who just grins at "The American Champion!" Masters lunges at him, but Hudson dodges and sprints away. Masters charges again and Hudson sidesteps once more. Masters hits the ropes and charges at him a third time... drop toehold into the second rope! Masters tries to prevent himself from hitting throat-first, getting an arm up on the rope.

Hudson pulls him off of the rope and connects with a forearm blast. Masters reels back and then gets rocked with another one. Masters winds up - Hudson hits him as he preps it! Masters is gonna swing again - no, Hudson stops him short! Oh, look at this! Rapid-fire forearm shots, one after another to the face of Masters! He's holding Masters' head in place with one hand and repeatedly nailing those forearms with the other! He whips him into the far ropes now and runs to the side ropes himself. Masters comes back as does Hudson from the side - ohh! Some sort of strange side-neckbreaker! Hudson flies into Masters and locks up the head, bringing him down on the side of it on the canvas. A unique, and from the looks of Masters, seriously damaging move.

Hudson gets to his feet again and drags Chip up. He's being sure to stay away from the mat style; no single man in PWG is as accomplished as The Chipper in mat wrestling, and Hudson knows it! Hudson shoves Chip into the ropes... knife edge chop! A second one, and that's a big, red hand-print on Chip's chest! A third - no, Chip catches it! He spins it into an armbar, into a hammerlock... into a German suplex! Masters rolls backwards, still hooked on... and into a Camel Clutch! He's got Hudson locked in the center, and that right there is why you NEVER want to try and match mat wrestling with Masters!

Candace is yelling words of encouragement toward her man, while Chip continues to yank back on the neck. Hudson is in a great deal of pain right in the center with no place to go. Both arms are draped over Chip's knees and the back of the man's head is almost touching his spine! Not only can Chip outwrestle a guy, but he can do it with more force than most guys even THINK of putting into some moves. Hudson is refusing to give it up, though, staying alive for now. Oh, Masters gets sick of it and lets go... he leaps into the air and sits down on the back of Hudson! Masters charges to the ropes and comes back - diving forearm to the spine. Chip pops right back up as Hudson writhes in pain. He pulls "The Prodigy" up and just shoves him. Hudson loses his balance and drops to a knee, quickly getting back up. Masters shoves him again, this time landing in the corner. Masters whips Hudson to the far side. He hits hard and Chip charges in - Hudson gets the feet up... no! Masters catches them! He throws them down at the canvas... but the force allows Hudson to fly into Masters - OHH! Twisting inverted Russian legsweep!

Hudson nails a nice move, perhaps without even trying. Both men are down here, but Hudson is the first to try and get to his feet while still showing signs of pain in his back. Masters is rolling to the ropes and grabs the second one, starting to pull himself up. Hudson is up and goes over to The Chipper. Chip grabs for him - Hudson backs off, oh! A kick to the face! Masters falls back to the mat and Hudson now picks him back up. Whip to the ropes and Hudson puts his head down... way too early! Masters stops in front of him and double underhooks the arms! He lifts Hudson up - no! He wriggles free behind Masters and lands on his feet! He charges the ropes - leaps... Super Stardom as Masters turns around! No! He ducks, but Hudson lands on his feet! Dropkick to the back of Masters! He flies into the ropes and Hudson gets to his feet quick as a hiccup. Masters bounces back and swings at Hudson... Hudson ducks it and sends Masters into the ropes again, back-first this time. He bounces out - OHH! Inevitable Sensation! Hudson pops back to his feet and charges the ropes - Super Stardom connects, and he hooks him up! One! Two! Three!? Hudson pins Masters!

    Winner: Alex Hudson

Another shocker here tonight! Alex Hudson just pinned Chip Masters out of nowhere, and I mean NOWHERE! Candace Ford gets into the ring and wraps her arms around her man as the duo celebrate in the ring. Masters gets up after a moment of what looked to be a mix of anger and dissapointment, but still shakes the hand of Hudson. After the hand shake, Masters had pulled Hudson close and said something to him. Perhaps a wish of good luck against Joshua Frampton?

    PWG Heavyweight Title Tournament
    Bracket One Final

    John Iley -vs- Jonathan Collins

The time has come to find out who one of the PWG Heavyweight Title contenders will be! John Iley has already wrestled once tonight, taking down big-pick Bobby Skylark. Can he also take out the completely fresh Jonathan Collins?

These two have made their entrances, endearing themselves to the fans. Hand shakes ahoy, and we're ready for final round action of Bracket One!

There is the handshake, folks, and... what the Hell?! Collins just slapped Iley across the face! What's that all about?? Iley just tackled Collins! He reaches back to punch, but he restrains himself... Collins just totally threw Iley off of his game! OH! Collins uses that second of a pause to kick Iley along the spine from his back! Iley falls off from the mounted position and onto the mat. Jon is up and kicks Iley right in the shoulder. Another kick, this one expertly placed on the side of the head. Iley is in trouble! A third boot and now Collins harshly pulls John up. Whip to the far ropes - no, he hangs on and pulls Iley back in... spinebuster! He grabs ahold of Iley's legs and stands up to his feet. He shoves Iley under the ropes... Collins sits back - OHH! He flings Iley up and throat-first into the bottom rope! What an edge, what a force in Collins tonight!

He yanks Iley up again and connects with a driving forearm to the side of the head. Iley drops to a knee and now Collins locks on a chinlock. John Iley is definitely in a different position than he was with Skylark who he picked apart from the beginning. Now it's Collins with the strategy and gameplan - the gamplan to throw Iley off of his own gameplan! That slap definitely had intentions and those intentions are coming to fruition as we speak. Collins is really bending the neck of Iley over, trying to wear down the neck real quick. Iley is grasping at Collins' hands, trying to pry them off... but Jon knees him in between the shoulder blades and Iley's attempts are nullified! Collins puts more pressure on now as he stands above his opponent.

Iley is grasping again at the hands and this time reaches up and grabs the hair of Collins! Jonathan breaks the hold and - oh! Elbow to the top of the head! Iley's hands snap down, clutching at his neck. Collins lifts him to his feet, though, and nails a big European upper cut that takes Iley off of his feet and into the ropes! Jonathan whips him to the far side. Iley comes back - sleeper from Collins! OH!! He drops him into a sleeper hold drop across his knee, then retains the hold as Iley slumps to a sitting position! I tell ya what, if Collins doesn't win this one here, he's worn down Iley to the point where victory in a third match is going to be a real stretch. Collins is just whipping Iley back and forth! When he does that, not only does the sleeper itself get magnified, but the already-worked neck of Iley gets all bent out of shape once again. Wise maneuvering from Collins.

Leigh looks rightly concerned outside of the ring while Hilary is clapping for Jonathan. Collins tightens the lock around Iley's neck, but this crowd is starting to get behind him! A small section has started an, "Iley! Iley! Iley!" chant, and it's quickly spreading! The crowd is calling for John to get back in this one, and he's starting to respond! He's waving them on and now Leigh is slapping the mat in unison with the chanting. Iley is starting to roll side to side - now to one knee! Collins applies more pressure, but Iley barely winces as he gets to a second knee. Collins is trying to keep the hold but Iley gets up to one foot, and now the other! Elbow to the stomach! Another! A third and Collins takes a step back. Iley runs to the ropes - Collins grabs him by the head... ohh! Back-kick from Iley catches Collins in the gut! He charges into the ropes ahead and springs back. Collins stands up straight - clothesline from Iley! Collins hits the mat hard but gets up fast.

He swings for a clothesline at Iley - Iley ducks it. He spins Collins around and kicks him in the stomach... front chancery setup and - OHHH! Suplex into the corner! Collins legs hit the top of the ropes, and they get all tangled up in a Tree of Woe! Iley is stomping away on the stomach of Collins now! He's unable to cover up! Iley runs to the opposite corner at top speed. He charges back and Collins is trying to wiggle out but he can't! He covers up his face - oh! Iley dropkicks him in the knees! Collins screams in pain and reaches for his legs. Iley runs away and now charges back at him once more! Collins reaches up and huddles over his knees! Iley stops short... he grabs Collins by the head - and he swings the back of his head into his knee! Vicious from John Iley!

Iley unwraps Collins from the corner and flops him in the ring, dragging him to the center by the legs on his stomach. Iley has a hold of both of Collins' feet and lifts them into the air - wham! Down with both knees onto the canvas! OH! And an elbow drop to the back of the left knee! That's just gotta hurt! Iley up quickly and he pulls Collins up as well. Elbow to the top of the head, and now Collins stumbles to the ropes. He's trying to stretch his leg... but Iley comes by and kicks him in the side of the knee! Collins hangs onto the top rope and dangles from it as he lifts his leg off of the canvas. Iley backs up and raises a hand into the air... he's gonna go for a field goal! WHAAAAAAAM! He kicks Collins in the back of the knee and he flips backwards, crashing down on the mat!

Iley grabs him by the legs again... he drags him to the center and he's going for The Geordie Factor! He's stepping through... no, Collins quickly fights and rolls to the ropes. He just saved himself, folks! Iley is forced to back off while Collins gets situated in the ropes. Iley shoves the ref away! He charges at Collins but he gets a kneelift for his troubles. Collins shoves Iley away and then runs into the ropes. Iley turns to face him and leapfrogs over the returning Collins. Collins turns and watches him - wait - OHH! He leaps into the air and dropkicks Iley in the small of the back in mid-air! Iley falls face-first onto the canvas and now Collins is locking him up for a surfboard submission! This is an odd variation - he's standing on Iley and pulling up! Wait, he's letting one leg off of John's knee... OHH! He just stomped the back of Iley's head and he eats canvas! That was brutal!

Collins lets go of the hold and runs to the ropes... somersault legdrop to the back of the head! He turns Iley over - only a two count on this occasion. He pulls Iley back up and shoves him chest-first into a corner. Collins jogs to the opposite corner and runs back at Iley... he leaps into the corner - Iley moves... ohh! Collins gets crotched in the corner! Iley turns back and hooks Collins into a full nelson! He drags him into the ring... full nelson face plant! He's maintaining the hold and getting back up! Full nelson Russian legsweep, and again he rolls through and up with Collins... into a full nelson slam! And now, yes! Geordie Factor coming up - wait - Collins reaches up and grabs Iley by the head... headbutt! Another... ano... repeated headbutts and Iley stumbles backwards.

Collins gets up and grabs ahold of Iley. Whip to the corner - reversal! Collins hits hard and Iley charges... Collins gets a foot up! He leaps to the second rope and grabs Iley... spins him around - Glasseating Smile! NO!! Iley swings Collins onto his feet and shoves him away! Iley bends over, taking a deep breath but Collins charges right back! He double underhooks Iley - DDT... no! Iley grasped the top rope with his right hand and stays vertical! Collins hits the mat, though, and... uh oh! GEORDIE FACTOR!! Iley has him locked in it! He's got the Geordie Factor locked on! Collins is fighting! He needs to stay alive! Iley is really turning up the heat on this thing! Collins is in trouble! He's got no place to - there it is!! He gave it up!! Iley is going to the finals!!!

    Winner: John Iley

John Iley has done it! Leigh dives into the ring and runs over to her man, who is leaning in the corner with a mix of exhaustion and excitement! Iley is going to the final round to face either Joshua Frampton or Alex Hudson! One couple celebrates while another tries to gather themselves together. Iley graciously waited for Collins to get to his feet and when he did so with a limp, he began to clap, igniting a chain reaction through the crowd. Iley extended the hand to Collins who paused for a couple of moments before accepting and then rolling out of the ring.

    PWG Heavyweight Title Tournament
    Bracket Two Final

Joshua "The Purist" Frampton -vs- "The Prodigy" Alex Hudson

This one should be just as good as Iley/Collins just was, if these two let it go for very long. Both of these men are capable of ending it whenever they want, so we'll see what happens. A brief hand shake and we're off!

These two are circling each other in the center, looking to start off with an advantage. Frampton comes in - Hudson boots him in the gut! Forearm to the head! Frampton retaliates with one of his own! Now Hudson! Frampton! Hudson! Frampton! Frampton! Frampton! Whip to the far side from "The Purist." Hudson comes charging back and misses a clothesline but keeps running to the far side. Frampton charges into the ropes as well now. They come charging back - Frampton slides underneath the legs of Hudson! Hudson keeps charging the ropes - leap to the second... springboard back with a twist as Frampton charges - crossbody block! Hudson connects square but rolls off instead of going for the pin. He gets to his feet, as does Frampton. Joshua charges in but Hudson lifts a knee to the chest. Elbow to the top of the head and now Frampton is whipped to the far corner. He hits hard and Hudson charges - back elbow from Frampton. Hudson stumbles backwards and Frampton turns to face the corner and leaps to the second rope. He springs off - moonsault - Hudson catches him on his shoulder! He turns around and charges across the ring... powerslam a'coming! No, Frampton drops behind and shoves Hudson into the corner! Hudson hits hard and ricochets off into Frampton who hooks him up.. release German! No, Hudson lands on his feet! Frampton spins around and Hudson charges him - hiptoss from Frampton! No, Hudson lands on his feet on the second rope!! He leaps up to the top, spinning in the process and jumps off towards Frampton - hurricanrana into the center of the ring! What a series!

It may not be completely done yet, though! Frampton slides through and gets to his feet quickly. He charges at Hudson who leapfrogs him. Frampton stops himself short from hitting the corner.. but Hudson is bragging, pointing at his head! Wait - Frampton slaps the turnbuckle with his hand and slouches into the corner! Hudson hears the noise and slowly turns around, sauntering over to Frampton. He pulls him out to the center - a light slap to the face. Another one, then a shove. Hudson shoves him again - Frampton grabs his arm - into an Octopus hold! He's stretching Hudson in the center of the ring! That came outta nowhere, and Hudson was even less expectant of an attack here than the crowd was. Frampton drops to the mat and keeps the hold locked, turning it into a pin! Only a two count, though, as Hudson somehow finds his way out. The two roll back to their feet and Hudson charges at Frampton. Frampton just dropkicks him in the stomach! Hudson goes flying back and drops to his knees. Frampton is up and runs to the ropes behind him; he comes charging back... dropkick to the neck! Hudson flies face-first into the mat and now Frampton again is to his feet. He's at Hudson's side and... he's locking on a surfboard variation! He's got his knees in the back of Hudson and rolls back, bending him over his shins! Perhaps Frampton is sending a little "Hello" to his trainer, Jonathan Collins, with a surfboard variant of his own.

Frampton is bending hard, trying to snap him like a tooth pick! Wait - Hudson flips over into a pin! Only a two count, though, before Frampton kicks out. Joshua is up quick and Hudson slowly pulls himself up in the ropes. Frampton connects with a big forearm shot, making sure he's worn down before pulling him to his feet. Whip to the corner and Frampton follows closely behind. Hudson hits chest-first and a clothesline immediately from Frampton! He hooks him up... Russian legsweep out of the corner, and the momentum pulls through to their feet... a SECOND one! Frampton lets go and rolls himself to his feet this time. He runs to the ropes and comes charging back - whoa, look at that vertical leap! And DOWN with a kneedrop across the face! Hudson shoots into a sitting position, clutching at his face. Frampton grabs his arms and pulls them back, pushing a foot in between his shoulder blades for good measure! More submission wrestling from Frampton who may be looking to conserve more energy; with a good submission hold locked in, he doesn't use as much strength and power. He can then save that for the final round if he makes it to John Iley.

Frampton does let go, though, but keeps a grip on one wrist. He uses it to pull Hudson to his feet, then twist it into an armbar. He turns the arm into a hammerlock, still facing Hudson, and now... he's gonna hit a Northern Lights with the arm pinned back! No! Hudson nails him over the back with his free arm! Again! Hudson's other arm is free and now he hooks Frampton up - snap suplex! Frampton hits hard and Hudson sits up after the move, clutching at his back for a moment. He gets to his feet, but it takes a bit of effort. He grabs Frampton by the head and pulls him back up. Whip to the far ropes but it looks like that hurt the back of Hudson! He crouches to a knee, holding his back. Frampton charges back hard and swings back - wait - OHH!! Hudson springs into the air with a picture perfect dropkick! Playing possum, perhaps?? He gets back to his feet but still clutches his back a moment. Hudson is running to the ropes! He springboards off - Super Stardom! NO! Frampton rolled away, but Hudson lands on his feet! Frampton is up and Hudson charges - forearm blast from the waiting Frampton! He pulls Hudson in - powerbomb coming for Purity! He lifts him up... Hudson flips back onto his feet! He drives a shoulder into the stomach and grabs the legs - Bona Fide Prodigy coming! No, Frampton is wailing away with forearms on the spine of Hudson! His grip drops and Frampton leaps into action - OHH! Sunset flip powerbomb! And he rolls through... he's picking Hudson back up - Styles Clash!! Step one of Pure Poetry... and now the single leg crab - hey, Candace Ford is on the apron! Frampton has Hudson locked in tight! Wait - Hilary is running over to Candace... she rips her off of the apron and tackles her on the ground! The referee turns back around.... Frampton grabs Hudson's other leg and pulls him up. Another Clash? No, he's pulling him up further - powerbo-ACE CRUSHER!! Purity connects hard! Frampton wraps him up tighter than school lunch - one! Two! THREE!! Frampton is going to the finals to meet John Iley!

    Winner: Joshua Frampton

The crowd explodes once more tonight as Hilary Bennett lays one more boot into Candace Ford before joining her victor in the middle of the ring. After Frampton got his breath back, he gladly waited for Hudson to get to his feet. As he did, the two shook hands and Hudson quickly exited to tend to Candace outside. Joshua Frampton and John Iley are in the finals!

At this point, we were expecting a 20 minute intermission but met with an unexpected surprise...

(As the lights dim, with the fans about to take some much needed breaks, "Now Or Never" by Dope starts to play, and the audience wonders what's going on as Jason McNeill and Chris Jameson, the members of Iconoclasm, make their way to the ring. They slap a few hands, and the audience buzzes a bit for the arrival of the latest protégés of PWG star Jonathan Collins. They step into the ring and Jameson takes the microphone, as their music dies down, and he starts to speak.)

Chris Jameson: This isn't exactly what you all came here to see tonight, so I'm going to make this short and sweet. We signed up for Pro Wrestling Glory two months ago, and we had expectations to be on their last show. They put Jason and I on the ring crew. We had expectations to be on this month's show, and we got screwed from giving you fans a treat tonight, and we were relegated to an afternoon showcase card. Now I'm all for the fans, because I used to be one myself, but I'm going to let you in on a little secret. While the PWG Title is pretty damn important, the tag teams of this company still are too, and why we haven't been booked in two months kind of pisses me off. Do you know why? It's because they put out a beacon for tag teams across the world to show up. Here we are, and we can't get time on the show, so you know something? We're taking it. It's just that simple. Is anyone going to argue with that? Good.

(Iconoclasm were interrupted by the sound of "Gasoline Dreams" by Outkast. That could only mean one thing. The crowd jeered as from the back emerged Adrian Lauderdale, Mac Diaz and Lena D., Too Hood. Lena made her way up, taking the microphone from Chris with a sneer, as she turned her back on Iconoclasm, to face her boys.)

Lena D: Well it's about time you people get a little notable talent in this ring, unlike what I've seen all night long. Is the Heavyweight Title SO important, that you need to take time away from the Future Tag Team champions? I don't think so. Mac and Adrian have worked TOO long, and too hard to be playing second best to the likes of these losers in PWG. *She aimlessly gestured behind her toward Chris and Jason.* Too Hood should be main EVENTING this place already, the only undefeated team here! Adrian, is the only undefeated contender here! Does that mean NOTHING to you people?!

Adrian Lauderdale: *Taking the microphone* We're not out to toot our own horn or nothin', but we're making a point. The tag team division in this place is just as important as ANYTHING else here. If you don't agree with that, well, too bad... but believe me - there's a lot of talented guys in this division. Even if they don't show it...

Mac Diaz: *Leans over to the microphone* And you just know we're right....

(Mac is interrupted by a voice screaming on the PA...)

VOICE: THE REBELS ARE COMING! THE REBELS ARE COMING!

(...which brings the duo of Jeff and Harry Kewell to the ringside. You can hear the approval of the crowd, although a little small than used to be. But the screaming of the teenage girls are there, as Jeff takes his shirt off and poses, winking to Lena.)

Jeff Kewell: Wow, wow, wow... Just a moment, check reality please. Let's face the facts: Too Hood admitting there are good guys in the tag division besides themselves? What is next, France will become the 51st state?

Harry Kewell: Not time for it now, Jeff.

    Jeff Kewell: But, bro...

Harry Kewell: Enough. You know what? I agree with them.

    Jeff Kewell: WHAT?

Harry Kewell: Listen, Jeff. We came to P-W-G expecting to prove our skills, our abilities. We came here for fame and fortune, but only as a consequence, not as our goal. Well, you also came for the chicks, but you must agree with me.

    Jeff Kewell: *sighs* Yeah.

Harry Kewell: And how are we supposed to do that if the tag division is being underutilized? You *points to Iconoclasm and Too Hood* had the guts of be the first ones to get here and say the truth. A tag team match can be as interesting and skillful as any match you fans saw in the Heavyweight Tournament. Now it's not that the shouldn't be a Tournament, but if should not be putting an entire division at hold. We are with you guys, and we shall prove to the suits backstage that we are dead serious about it.

    Jeff Kewell: Just one thing.

    Harry Kewell: Yes?

    Jeff Kewell: "Underutilized"?

("Soldier" by Eminem interrupts Rebellious Youth. The Vipers make their way to the ring. Justin Payne grabs a mic.)

Payne: I hate to admit it, you three are right. The tag team division is, as a whole, underutilized. But we're on top of the mountain and we should be here tonight. We are multi-time tag team champions. I am a multi-time hardcore champion. We deserve better respect than this. Instead, we're on a stupid, lame pre-game show when WE should be main eventing.

Bane: PWG has more tag teams than either of the national companies, yet we have no tag team belts. This is disrespectful to us.

Payne: Like Jameson said, we're taking over this show.

(Oddly enough, Iconoclasm, Too Hood, Rebelious Youth, and The Vipers all stood in the ring together, apparently sticking by their common clause in this situation. Adrian Lauderdale had just one last comment.)

Adrian Lauderdale: So while we take this party backstage, you just know, the tag team division is under control up in this place. If you don't believe, prepare to feel.

(The teams collectively started to file to the backstage area, leaving the crowd a little confused of what had just taken place. At this point, the scheduled intermission begins and we prepare for the PWG Heavyweight Title Tournament finals.)

    PWG Heavyweight Title Match
John Iley (Bracket One Winner) -vs- Joshua "The Purist" Frampton (Bracket Two Winner)

This one is for all of the marbles, folks. It's also for the PWG Heavyweight Title. The crowd knows it, and more importantly, these two men know it. The ring entrances were painfully serious, neither man breaking his focus at all. Bothe men are clearly fatigued, but they are both attempting to hide it as much as possible. As both men stand in the ring, staring each other down from their corners, the crowd is dead silent. You could hear a pin drop. A chance to see two men compete for a prize that everybody is gunning after. To become the first ever Pro Wrestling Glory Heavyweight Champion. There will be no do-overs and there will be no second chances. There is only once chance to be the first and it happens here tonight. This is what a reporter like myself waits for. This is what professional wrestling fans all around the World wait for. On top of all of that, though, this is the chance, the opportunity that professional wrestlers wait for all of their lives. To become the first. To become the best.

They shake hands and go back to their corners. The bell sounds, and here we GO!

Both men are slowly inching back to the center of the ring. Eyes of deadly intent, locked on the other. Even the referee is just a silent observer. Out of nowhere, they lock it up! Each man is struggling for position and it is all important to be the first one on top. Right now, though, neither is budging an inch! They're deadlocked in the center... and they break the tie up! Iley reaches his hand into the air, calling Frampton on to test their strength again. Frampton accepts, and now they've got one hand locked. Iley extends the other and Frampton locks that one up, too. They're pushing against each other again, chest to chest. Each man attempting to gain a steady advantage, trying to catch an easy break early on. Yet again, though, neither one is giving an inch. They break apart once more, each man getting a little uneasy. They meet back in the center... knife edge chop from Frampton! Iley responds with one of his own! Forearm blow from Frampton! Iley accepts and responds in the same fashion! European uppercut from Frampton! Iley once again hits one of his own! Frampton shoves Iley! Iley shoves back! Frampton charges at him - and he tackles him to the mat! Frampton is on top and nails Iley with a forearm to the face! Iley grabs him by the throat! He turns him over - forearm of his own!

Iley is quick to release and gets up, walking to his corner. He bows his head there while Leigh talks to him. Iley has to get in this game, as does Frampton. The two meet once again in the center and lock up once more. Kneelift from Iley! Frampton stumbles back and now Iley quickly whips him to the corner. He charges in - Frampton steps out with a forearm shot! Iley stumbles back this time and Frampton charges... hiptoss! Frampton lands on his feet and spins - armdrag takedown! Both men spring back to their feet with lightning-quickness and Iley charges - leapfrog from Frampton. Iley runs under and to the ropes. He rebounds and Frampton spins - back elbow from Iley! Frampton flies back, but not to the canvas. Iley hits the ropes again and charges in - clothesli- sidewalk slam from Frampton! He rolls Iley over... single arm Camel Clutch! Frampton takes a decisive advantage!

Iley is in a pickle here, but he's got that free arm and uses it - he plants it into the canvas, giving himself a firm base to work against. He's starting to get to his knees, but Frampton realizes he's losing the hold and grabs Iley up. Forearm shot to the face and a whip to the corner to stop Iley's comeback. Frampton briskly moves to Iley and spins him around, chest-first in the corner. Forearm blast to the small of the back! Another! Frampton grabs Iley around the waist and pulls him back... back suplex! He rolls over and grabs Iley's leg; stands up and turns again - single leg crab! Frampton again goes to work on the back, but this time Iley is able to crawl to the ropes. Iley reaches them, but Frampton keeps the hold on! He's even pulling back harder! FINALLY! He releases at the count of four. Frampton walks away and now Iley is pulling himself up on the ropes... Frampton kicks him in the back! Again! He pulls him up now and whips him to the ropes.... spinebuster! He pulls Iley RIGHT back up, though and hooks him for another sidewalk slam? No, into a backbreaker over the knee, and now he's bending Iley over his leg! Frampton is of the mindset, as are many, that Iley's back is still in trouble from previous injuries, and he's going to work on it.

Iley is fighting the pain here, not giving it up. He reaches up and grabs the face of Frampton, but he shakes him off. Frampton shoves Iley onto the canvas now. He's dragging him by the legs into the center of the ring... going for a surfboard! He stands on the knees and grabs Iley's arms... and rocks back into a sitting position! He's pulling back on Iley's arms... wait... oh, an inverted chancery! He's just twisting him up! Iley is in pain here; if that back was healed, it's gonna need to be cured again after this match! Frampton is rocking down on Iley with that surfboard lock... but Iley won't give up, and Frampton knows it! He releases the hold and Iley crashes face-first onto the mat.

Frampton is up once more, this time looking a little more unhappy than we've seen him. He drags Iley to his feet and pushes him against the ropes. European upper cut and Iley has no place to go. Frampton rocks him again! Whip to the far side - reversal! Frampton comes back - hiptoss from Iley again! No! He tried lifting him up but his back couldn't take it! Iley lets go and clutches his spine... look at the twinkle in Frampton's eye! He hooks him up from behind... German suplex! He's rolling through! Another! Three! Frampton is still pulling him up... four! He's pulling through again... five! Frampton is relentless! He yanks him up and... backdrop driver - OHHH!! He drops Iley back-first over his leg! In front of this crowd, Frampton has indeed Come Alive! He covers Iley, it's gotta be! One! Two! Three!!

NO!! Iley kicks out! He got a shoulder up, and Frampton can't believe it! He pulls John up to his feet again, this time more vicious than before. Hard forearm blast to the face and then just a kick to the side as Iley stumbles away! Frampton wants the Heavyweight Title! He grabs Iley and whips him into the corner. Frampton charges - clothesline! He turns and hooks him up... running bulldog! NO! Iley shoves him off! Frampton turns and charges - POWERSLAM!! Iley musters the strength to powerslam him and he did it H-A-R-D, HARD! He's clutching at his own back as well, though, but fighting through the pain! Frampton is up but Iley grabs him - forearm to the face! Another one and Frampton is in the corner. Iley whips him to the far corner and Frampton hits and stays. Iley charges - flying splash! Iley bounces off and clutches his back again as he stumbles away from the corner. Frampton charges from behind - OHH! Iley with a standing back-kick! Frampton gets knocked goofy and flies into the corner! Iley spins around and sits Frampton on the top... what's he thinking?! He'll kill himself!

Iley is climbing to the top rope and he's hooking Frampton up! He's gonna suplex him from the top! He hooks him.. no! Frampton blocks! He lifts Iley up - TO THE OUTSI-Iley lands on his feet on the apron! OH! He just shoved Frampton off and into the ring! He crashes hard and now Iley is struggling to climb the top rope. Frampton is getting to his feet and now Iley is up... he leaps - AIR ENGLAND!!! Iley catches him with a tremendous cross body block! He covers - no, Frampton rolled through! Too much momentum! One! Two! Thr... no! Iley kicks out! Both men are quick to their feet and Iley buries a boot into Frampton's stomach. He charges the ropes and comes back - hurricanrana from Frampton... sitdown powerbomb counter from Iley! As much as Frampton wanted to catch Iley off guard, he just couldn't do it! A two count only for Iley, but a lack luster pin attempt as well. He gets to his feet and is dragging Joshua as well. Whip to the far ropes... wait, Iley drops to his knees. He's clutching at his back and Frampton stops dead. He's looking around... he doesn't know what to - wait... he's charging at him anyway! Frampton runs at Iley - SPPPPPEEEEEEEEAAAAAAARRRRRRRR!! Iley spears the life out of Frampton! He rips him to his feet... Iley just got an adrenaline rush! He pulls Frampton up - torture rack suplex! Both men crash down and Iley is fighting through the pain!

He grabs Frampton again and he's signalling for the end! Tyne Bridge coming up! He hooks Josh and lifts - no, Frampton crushes him in the neck with a forearm blow! Iley drops him and Frampton repositions... Purity on its way! He lifts him into the powerbomb - wait... Iley spins around on Frampton's shoulders! Victory roll! One! Two!! THREE!!!! ILEY PINS HIM!! ILEY PINS HIM!! ILEY PINS HIM!!!!!

Winner: The First Ever PWG Heavyweight Champion, John Iley

What a moment! What an amazing moment! John Iley has done it! He has become the first Pro Wrestling Glory Heavyweight Champion! Both men are in a state of shock! And there it is - he is presented with the Heavyweight Title! He is ECSTATIC! Hilary rushes into the ring... Frampton is just sitting on his knees, staring at the canvas. He can't believe it, I can't believe it! Frampton looks like he's about to break down, while Iley himself wells up as he embraces Leigh! This crowd is ON THEIR FEET! What a magnificent match up!

After the celebrating in-ring by Iley, Frampton got to his feet and composed himself. He walked over to the new Champion and fastened the belt around his waist. He then gracefully shook Iley's hand. The two embraced in the ring and had (friendly) parting words for one another. As Frampton exited the ring, Iley did as well - but he went into the crowd to celebrate his historic win.
