  • PWG Scoops for January 11, 2005
-The PWG Heavyweight Champion, John Iley is up in Toronto at The Ritz, his 'other job' currently on the stage helping test out the mics for what looks like a gig thats going to be taking place. John actually conducts the interview from the stage as we ask the questions, he seems comfortable up there as he should, being on stage can't be that much different to being in the ring talking to the fans can it?

John: "Course not, I'm often announcing the bands and stuff here and the crowds are just as great here as they are in PWG. Though here on stage, I can be more natural and use a few naughty words! [Laughs] But really, it's not that different"

What is different are the two men who John could face on January 30, Alex Hudson or Jon Collins, what are John's thoughts on the match these two have planned.

John: "It's certainly an interesting concept. I'l be watching the match intently and I'll need to be in one of two different frames of mind for that match later on against the winner?"

One of two frames of mind?

John: "Yeah, these two guys have different styles! OK, I've faced Collins before and I'm used to a little X-Division style, but Hudson is more your mat wrestler like me, so I'm facing two different styles, I'll need to focus on them and click into the right frame come match time."

    And John's prefered oppoent?

John: "Either/or, sure, I've faced Collins already, but I wouldn't say no to another match with him. As for Hudson? [Shrugs] He disrespects those who help him and one of those people happens to be the love of my live, Leigh Dominguez, I'll show him what its like to disrespect those around you!"

I think that's all for now, we'll catch up next time with our champion, as now it seems their ready to do more checks for the show that night....

-Jonathan Colins has been his usual self these days, a little quiet, and a little humble about the experience against Alex Hudson at New Year's Rising, and it showed when he called into a local radio show last week.

"It's been a humbling experience, but you know something? It's fine with me. I'm more than up to task of going one more time against Hudson. I've faced a lot of difficult opponents in my career, and even though Hudson thinks he's probably on that list, he hasn't seen what I can really do yet. The gloves come off this month, and the facts are simple. I'm going to make his first match of 2005 the most humbling experience of his life."

-When Brandon Williams got word that he was facing fellow (R) Evolution Dojo member Joshua Frampton, he was a bit uneasy about things. He didn't want any tention coming up between him or anybody else. He wasn't happy about having to face a fellow friend. He commented this on the whole matter.

"It's not always easy to have to get into the ring, and look across the ring at a fellow friend. Having to face Joshua is going to be a challenge in itself. I can't say that I didn't see what he did to his last opponent, but this is going to be different. I know pretty much all he knows. He isn't going to know what to do when he steps into the ring with someone who can counter everything he throws at them. This match is going to be very exciting, and I'm highly looking forward to it."

Along with Brandon was Aimee as usual. The two were seen walking down the main streets in their California hometown. Aimee had these comments to say about Brandon's match.

"Brandon can beat Joshua, if he applies himself. Joshua is someone who is very hot headed, and can easily be predictable. Brandon and him have spared tons of time in class, so they know each other pretty well. Brandon is coming off a big hot streak, and he's not about to lose his stride because he's facing a friend. Though something seems to be up with Joshua, so Brandon is going to need to be on his toes. I will make sure he keeps his eyes, and ears open for change. I will not allow him to get caught off guard. Brandon is very smart but he also trusts to easily, and that's something he needs to watch. This is going to certainly be a match everyone will want to see and talk about once it's over. I for one can't wait for it either."

She said all of this as matter of factly as she could, as they walk off both very confident.

-Despite the rather clean loss he sustained to John Iley a short time ago, Sherrick has spent the week leaving messages at PWG headquarters complaining that Iley had indeed cheated, and that there was a conspiracy amongst the head staff of the PWG against him. Each day he called, he cited several peices of evidence to the fact, mostly centering around his lack of promo time, and the lack of his activities being reported to the true fans of PWG who actively follow his wrestling career, and have since long before. He claims the PWG is not giving his fans what they want, and is prepared to do any number of things, some fairly drastic, if need be. Over the week, he hinted at some of the things he's considering, ranging from a strike, to a lawsuit, and constant interruption of the show as it goes on live.

-Joshua Frampton didn't waste any time in getting back into form against Stevie Erickson, and apparently, he's not taking any chances against his classmate, Brandon Williams. Frampton has been training at an undisclosed location in Northern California, away from the (R)Evolution dojo, the school in which both he and Williams trained. Frampton has been silent as usual, but one is to assume that he is leaving his devotion to the school behind for this month's show.

-The new PWG Tag Team Champions celebrated their victory by going back to the (R)Evolution Dojo and helping out fellow students with some of their tricks of the trade. Both Chris Jameson and Jason McNeill haven't slowed down their schedules since becoming champions, both of which feel was the key to this major victory.

"If you don't slow down, you're already in high gear for a big match. That's what every match is now, because we're champions. If you're not in this to defend, then you may as well not be a champion." the usually quiet half of the team, Jason McNeill said.

"The truth is, we're ready for The Vipers, The Sainthood, Rebellious Youth, and another match against Too Hood. As far as I'm concerned, we'll defend the title every time we're in the same three feet of one another." added Jameson.

-PWG offices have received an email from one half of The Vipers:

"Hey PWG, this is Justin Payne. I'm just writing to thank you for giving us a shot at the champs, even if it is non-title. We will do our best and hopefully earn a shot at those belts. Also, I want to let you know that later on in the week, I'll have a singles match for a local St. Louis promotion. I don't know why Bane wasn't invited, but he wasn't. Well, wish me luck. See ya."

PWG does wish Justin Payne good luck and hopes it does distract him from his PWG career.

-January 30th is the date, the Wheaton Grand Theater in Wheaton, Illinois is the place, and Hope's Last Stand is the name! The first show of 2005 is just 19 days away and we have signed one more big match. A newcomer to PWG has arrived and his name is John "Tragic" Delany. He'll have quite the task ahead of him as well, as he will lock it up with Mark Sherrick! Can Delany avoid the Tornado DDT, or will this be his first and only battle in a PWG ring? The only way to find out is to be a part of it live in Wheaton, Illinois on January 30th!

PWG Scoops for January 4, 2005
-After New Years Rising, preparing to join the New Years Eve Party, was John Iley. Dressed casually, yet smart. Both he and Leigh were pleased with the nights results.

John: "Yeah I thought it was a great match, sure the neck IS a little sore, but a rub down from Leigh later on will sort that out" [he told us with a sly wink]

    And what did Leigh think?

Leigh: "Well, I think John proved once again the joys of traditional mat wrestling! Winning the match with his... Stottie Roll, I think John proves how much traditionalism is lost in todays business."

And yeah, just what is a Stottie Roll?

John: [Laughing] "Well I took the name from a flat bread called a Stottie cake that we have in the north east of England. Like I said, its a flat bread which is normally pretty big, about 7" in diameter, so about the size of a small pizza, but its often used to cram lots of food into for a big sandwich, normally the good ole' greasy fry ups we English often have for breakfast, so it can be full of sausage, bacon, fried eggs, black pudding, beans, tomatos with lashings of ketchup!"

Hmm, sounds REAL healthy! And finally what of the number one contender match? A time limit draw!

John: "Yeah its difficult to call, a triple threat match perhaps? I wouldn't mind! But we'll have to wait and see what the top dogs want to do with it."

Well, we're sure to find out soon enough, but for now, John, Leigh and everyone else are off to enjoy the New Year festivities and ring in 2005!

-Iley won't have to wait long to find out what will happen with the Jonathan Collins/Alex Hudson situation. PWG Officials decided that at the next PWG show on January 30, the Collins/Hudson series will come to a decisive finish. It will be "Hope's Last Stand," and in the first match of the evening, Jonathan Collins and Alex Hudson will square off in a unique match; the first fall of the match will be fifteen minutes long. If a win is scored in this fall, it counts for one point. The second fall is ten minutes long, and a win counts for two points. In fall number three, the time limit is set at just five minutes and the points for winning will be set at three. The winner of this match will be the undisputed number one contender, and will face John Iley for the PWG Heavyweight Title in the main event that evening!

-We catch up with The Vipers this week, who seem upset.

Payne: Talk about getting screwed over. We go up to Springfield pumped for our match only to find out that it's cancelled because The Sainthood called in sick. I'm sure they just decided not to show up because they were facing us. Or maybe, PWG told them to stay home. It would've been an easy win and help us get back into title contention. Oh well, we can't cry over spilt milk.

Bane: We also want to congratulate Iconoclasm on them becoming the Tag Team Champions and giving Too Hood their first loss. And you are now in our crosshairs. And knowing the boss, we're not gonna get a title shot at the next show since we could not show off our skills a few days ago. Too Hood probably will get their much deserved rematch while we are ranked third.

-While many would surely like to see a Too Hood/Iconoclasm rematch for the gold, it won't be happening at Hope's Last Stand on January 30. Instead, Iconoclasm will square off with The Vipers in non-title action. If The Vipers impress here, and especially if they win, they are definitely in line for a Tag Team Title shot.

-Also announced for Hope's Last Stand is Too Hood facing The Sainthood. Too Hood is looking to get back on their winning ways, while The Sainthood need to show PWG Officials something special to stay on the main Roster.

-Brandon Williams will square off with fellow R(Evolution) Dojo student, Joshua Frampton on the 30th. It will be interesting to see how this turns out. Speaking of Frampton, word surrounding his last match with Stevie Erickson is not good for Erickson; Stevie has suffered undisclosed injuries and has been removed from the current PWG Roster.

-Check back early and often for more news and updates on Hope's Last Stand, January 30!

PWG Scoops for December 28, 2004
    -Talk about Holiday miracles!

This week, some of our PWG news sources managed to catch some words from a very familiar face to PWG grounds with none other than...

...the one and only "Skyhigh" Bobby Skylark!

After wrestling a few shows for Maryland Cruiserweight Wrestling, it has become apparent that Bobby Skylark's injuries have finally healed and his time to grace the foundations of Pro-Wrestling Glory have arrived once again. Sources close to the situation are hinting at a possible return to PWG at it's next event (the one following New Year Rising). Although it isn't exactly sure when that will be as of press time, one can only imagine the anticipation this will have on all the fans of PWG's battlegrounds.

    Gracing our news correspondents with a few words, this is what Skylark had to say in regards to his sudden departure from PWG;

"Well, what can I say, really? I had some things that had to be taken care of before I could think about continuing my career in PWG or anywhere else for that matter. Though I did wrestle a few matches over, (in Maryland), before eventually taking time off altogether, I could barely even hack it (in the ring). My left knee was numb constantly and my shoulder wasn't exactly up to par either. But now it's all pretty much healed up, and I'm ready to go."

As our correspondents remained pleased to hear this uplifting information, the question was asked; "What do you foresee in your future, and does it have anything to do with PWG?"

"Nothing is certain... as the future remains a blind chimera to one's present. Always. But, if I were to venture to guess, it's that I'm going to have my rematch with John Iley... very soon... PWG or not. I would LIKE it to be in PWG, as long as no one has a problem welcoming me back and letting me do my thing... but if not? Then I'll challenge Iley to come on down to Maryland and face me in a one on one match-up... and if he does? I can guarantee you that while I may take a beating, things are going to end a little differently then last time. Because I'll be one-hundred and ten percent this time around and that's something that even gravity won't be able to handle. WOOOO!!! The skies are falling again, baby... and I'm back... and better than EVER!"

Stay tuned as this monumental ground breaking news continues!

-With just one week or so until the big event "New Year Rising", Too Hood's Mac Diaz and Adrian Lauderdale are in training. So much for 'playing it cool' as their opponents had previously said. Lena D. was no where in sight as the two boys seemed pumped up and ready for what they had in front of them.

"Tag titles defense, it's cool." Lauderdale said, "I'm anxious to put a cork in those two kid's mouth's."

"Come New Year Rising, though, we'll pop the top on those two." Diaz added with a smirk. "It's almost criminal how those kids in Iconoclasm think. It's - insane logic, frankly."

"We're just ready to put it up, and shut 'em up, that's how we roll." Lauderdale finished.

-Alex Hudson was back in his somber attitude this time around, as Princess Candace Ford was not with "The Prodigy" at the time. He was at the Metrodome, in Minneapolis, Minnesota - for an event that was taking place that night. (The Minnesota Vikings/The Green Bay Packers football game) He didn't have much to say, except the following:

"Jonathan Collins thinks he's real cool, but you know something? I'm going to burn him out come NYR. I'm tired of hearing how quote, "great", unquote he is. I'm tired of it. He can say how great he is until he believes it, but come New Year Rising, I'm going to show that ass why I'm the Prodigy, and why he's old news."

-Just after the holidays Brandon and Aimee went back home. Just like for Christmas Eve they went to the (R) Evolution dojo show, and they couldn't have been happier.

Brandon loves being at home. It's like a feeling you don't get anywhere else. Once again he was asked about having to face Chip Masters, one of Jonathan's long time enemies.

"Facing Chip Masters is going to probably be one of the most challenging things in my career. He's a long time veteran, so he knows what he's doing in the ring, but I do as well. I plan on taking him to some limits he's never been taken to before. I can't wait to get back into the ring, it's been awhile so I'm excited about it."

Brandon seems to be very pumped about his match, and he will not quit until he wins...

-The PWG Champion John Iley is preparing for his match against Mark Sherrick at his gym in Toronto. But John has had more than training on his mind recently.

John: "The reason I wasn't around last week was because of business, we had a major party vibe at The Ritz and we ended up short staffed, so I eneded up working behind the bar serving drinks so my days and nights were virtually taken up. I didn't mind, I enjoy doing it as much as owning the place and of course being in the squared circle wrestling."

So what of Sherrick? We still haven't heard from him as we go to press.

John: "It just proves that Sherrick is worried. He knows I can beat him. I played possum when we met last time. He thought he had me beat, but as he leapt at me, I moved and got right up. I was ready for him. I'll admit there was a twinge in my back, but I was having those even before the back injury raised its head."

It seems this back injury of John's is a target to everyone he faces. Doesn't that worry him?

John: "Not really, I know my back is fine, if anything, it makes my job easier because they'll be so focused on my back, I can work on my own stratagies a lot easier. Sherrick tried that against me and he failed miserably, just like he will this time!"

So any ideas on John's stratagy for this match? John replied with a smirk.

John: "Yeah, just go out and wrestle him, then when I'm done, I'm going to ring in the New Year with Leigh at a big party we've been invited too. Then I'm going to prep myself for either Jon Collins or Alex Hudson. I'll be watching their match intently."

No doubt John will have more to say on that next time, but as we prepare to leave, John gives us this message.

John: "I just want to wish everyone, from the top office to all the fans of PWG, and everyone else inbetween, a safe, prosperous and successful 2005! And I'll see you all next year!"

-New Year Rising is only three days away and is going to close out the first year of Pro Wrestling Glory with a bang! Friday night's show marks the six month anniversary of PWG; who will be trying to make a name for themselves when the action begins? There's only one way to find out, and that's to be a part of New Year Rising LIVE on Friday night in Springfield!

PWG Scoops for December 21, 2004
-This week we caught up with Alex Hudson, who seemed a little less 'Scrooge' this time around as far as the Christmas Season was concerned. "The -Prodigy" was at his house in Minneapolis, Minnesota with Princess Candace, and they were decorating a Christmas tree. He had a smirk on his face as he lifted Candace up onto his shoulder, to put the star on the top, and she did, giggling softly.

"This is so much fun," Candace said "It's almost as fun as what's going to be happening next Friday!"

"Oh yes." Alex said, as he put her back down. "See, with there only being mere days, until I face that assclown Collins, nothing is dampering my spirit." He adjusted the reindeer antlers that were on Candace's head, and she smiled. "Not only is it Christmas time, but it's time to get ready to show that punk what's up."

"Yep! I can't wait to see you get the best present of all. Number One Contendership."

"And it's as good as mine," Hudson stated matter-of-factly. "I'm going to show Jonathan Collins that he's not incredible, he's not invincible, he's just replaceable."

-Jonathan Collins spent the week quietly preparing for this match against Alex Hudson by teaching classes instead of training. Collins has said that Hudson can't match his students, so a victory for Hudson is unlikely. Collins, however, says he won't be taking anything to chance, and he will be walking into the arena in the best shape of his career.

"I didn't even look that good when I made Chip Masters tap out." he said.

-We catch up with Mac Diaz and Adrian Lauderdale this week, as both were in New York Christmas Shopping with Lena D. Both looked bored to tears, as Lena was enjoying Barney's and Fifth Avenue. Taking a moment away from the blonde diva's shopping schedule, Adrian and Mac both had something to say regarding Jason McNeill and Chris Jameson.

"Alright, alright chill... you people want to know what we think? As the contenders facin' them?" Adrian asked. "They're a sad case, and they proved it during last week's interview. They're trying to beat us for what? For Jon Collins? For their revolution, crap?"

"If you're going to beat us..." Mac started, "You're going to have to do it for yourselves. Otherwise, you're fighting a loss cause, boys."

"It makes me laugh that they came right on out and said they wanted to win our titles to make Jon Collins proud. Give me a break, man. Ya'll are just a couple of boys whipped into shape by some walkin' egotrip. The only way you ladies are gonna win those titles, is by actin' like men, and doin' something for your selves. Good luck in all that..."

-Despite Too Hood's dismissal of their attitude about their loss at the last show, Iconoclasm continues to train for this match, taking matches one night a weekend, and training the other. Win, lose, or draw, each moment has been an experience for them.

"You need to keep learning and evolving in this business if you're going to stay at the top. If you want to get to the top, you've got to never stop trying to achieve. That's what they're doing. If they wanna play it cool, that's fine. They can play it cool until Jason and I are holding those titles." Chris Jameson said.

-Joshua Frampton finally ended his drought of talking to the media with simply saying this.

"Stevie Erickson's going to be stretched like never before."

-New Year Rising is just 10 days away! PWG Officials are excited about this show, as well as closing out 2004 with what should be a huge show. Not only is this the last show of the year, but it also marks the PWG's sixth month in operation. The next six months are sure to be just as great as the first!

PWG Scoops for December 14, 2004
-We once again catch up with the PWG Heavyweight Champion John Iley at his home in Toronto. His home already decorated for the holiday season. Does he have anything to give his opponent Mark Sherrick at New Year Rising?

Iley: "Yeah I do, even though I'm not overly keen on the bloke. It's the season for giving, so I'm going to Sherrick a match and a half. Unfortunately the officals of PWG have made the match non-title, so unfortuately, I won't be giving him a title shot!"

John found out about this match after his last interview, how does he feel about the whole thing?

Iley: "Well, I'm a little miffed that I was told after the interview, but that's by the by. The fact is, I'm facing the man I beat to enter the tournament proper. He thought he had me beat but then I played my Ace. He took his eye off me, and that was his big mistake! Sure, he's an agressive guy and focused once he's in that ring, but if you lose that focus for one second... I'll have you, and thats what I did in our last match together!"

Sherrick seems to be keeping quiet, is John concerned?

Iley: "Not really, look at what it did for Frampton. He kept his head down and it didn't help him. Sherrick is making a big mistake in staying quiet. He'll end up having more Aggro, end up bridged, being rolled or even learning the Geordie Factor if he keeps like that!"

Of course, the number one contender match is taking place at NYR, any more thoughts from the champ?

Iley: "In my view, both men are ready and are going to take themselves to a high level to claim the offical number one contender spot! Even though me and Collins aren't exactly on speaking terms, I still have respect for him and I know what he's like! Hudson, well, I think it's clear that I have no respect for him at all, for obvious reasons! (Clearly referring to Hudson's former relationship with Leigh Dominguez) And if Hudson isn't careful, he's going to learn what Jon Collins, is all about! But I will wish both men good luck for the match, and I'll be watching intently!"

-Alex Hudson joined us this weeks, although, "The Prodigy" wasn't in such a bad mood. He was at his home in Minneapolis, with Princess Candace Ford with him. He seemed a little bit more relaxed this time around.

"You see, Jonathan Collins must think he's real swift. He thinks that he's a cornerstone or a foundation in PWG? There's a difference between being a foundation, and a failure. I think the kid has his lines crossed."

"New Year Rising is coming up, and you know what?" Princess Candace said with a smile. "I'm excited. I know that Alex is close to finally getting what he wants... AND deserves..."

"As soon as I beat that wheelchair bound fruitcake Collins, I'm going to go on and shove a crumpet down Iley's throat. Take his title. And then sip some tea in his honor. I'll show him how a real champion is supposed to act. With class, sensability, and a damned good woman by his side. Not some skank school flunkee like Leigh Dominguez."

-The big news out of Southern California this week was the (R)Evolution Dojo Holiday show which took place last weekend. The up and coming students got to face some of PWG's quickest rising stars, but the big moment of the night was when Jonathan McMahon came out in a Santa Claus suit, handing out toys with his girlfriend Hilary Bennett (dressed as Mrs. Santa, of course), and his daughter Madison (dressed as an elf). Collins took the microphone and addressed one of his biggest issues in the past year of his career...Alex Hudson.

"Everyone can tell I'm in a giving mood, so I'm going to give Alex Hudson the greatest gift of all...the performance of a lifetime from Jonathan Collins." he said.

-Joshua Frampton's performance at the Holiday show turned some heads, as he brutalized up and coming student, Jeremy Hoffman. Frampton was said to have been as crisp as ever, delivering suplex after suplex, and finishing him off with the "Pure Poetry 2" combination of a tiger suplex/tomikaze/rings of saturn. What looked even more painful was his crossface variation, which nearly gave him the victory. Frampton looked more than ready to face Stevie Erickson, but gave no comment, as he continues his vow of silence to the media.

-Brandon Williams silently wrestled Jonathan Collins to a thirty minute draw in the feature attraction bout of the big event, but walked away with more than just a draw. He walked away with valuable experience to use against Chip Masters, one of Collins' legendary rivals.

"I know that he's tough, but Jon's just as tough. What I learned now, I can take with me to the next event." Williams said.

-This week when we catch up with Too Hood, the boys are at Hard Nock's Gym in Amesbury, Massachusetts. Adrian is lifting weights, while Mac was grappling in the ring with one of the personal trainers of the facility. Lena D. on the other hand, in gym wear and all, was sitting on a bench of a press. She seemed thoughtful.

"Okay, so I gotta give those two boys in Iconoclasm some credit," She started. "They're not exactly the smartest tools in the industry, but they're gutsy. They're only taking the loss they suffered at "Defending Glory" as a... did I hear that right? A learning experience? How cute..."

"Stupid." Adrian cued in, as he continued with his freeweights, not far from where Lena was. "There's a difference between cute and stupid, boo."

"Point." She shrugged, "I think it's actually pretty strange. You have people like the Vipers who have FINALLY realized, next to Too Hood, they're nothing. The Sainthood? Nada. Rebelious Youth? So sad... zilch. Nobody has what it takes, but Jason and Chris think -- they might just have it?"

"Not likely!" Mac yelled from the ring, as he took down the trainer with an STO. Lena smiled, clapping her hands.

"See? See this is why I love my boys. They train, and train hard. That's why they're where they are today. The poster boys of the tag division in PWG. They're it! It's just a little sad that come New Year Rising, Iconoclasm's only New Years Resolution will be to stop being such pushovers..."

Strong words from Miss D. Let's see if Too Hood can back their diva's mouth!

-Jason McNeill and Chris Jameson took time away from their tag schedule to take on one another at the (R)Evolution Holiday card, but both men insist that it can only help their cause for a victory against Too Hood.

"The more we know about one another, the better a team we are. It's not just about knowing each other's styles and what compliments one another, but it's knowing the other guy's strengths and weaknesses. If I go into a match knowing that Chris' left knee is a little tweaked, I'm going to keep him away from those submissions. You've really got to know just about everything, and that's what seperates us from Too Hood. We're focused on upping the ante for our team. Team (R)Evolution has come so close to winning gold here so many times...it's really our time to bring some home and make Jon proud." Jason McNeill said.

-The PWG offices have received an email from Bane regarding last week's interview:

"I know all of you read last week's scoop, and this email will hopefully clarify something. We are not breaking up. Justin Payne was just upset over not winning the tag team titles. He let off some steam and that is all. Though what I said was true, the hardcore title is worthless. It means nothing. That's probably why PWG doesn't have one. Thank you for reading and we will be waiting to see who our opponents will be at New Year's Rising."

Oddly enough, PWG also received an email from Justin Payne:

"Last week, Bane was talking out of his backside. He was just letting off some steam when he said that a hardcore title is worthless. He was upset that we lost our first shot at gold. He probably was even more upset that we're not even in contention anymore. Just thought I would clarify things with this email. Thanks for your time."

-PWG Officials have announced more matches for New Year Rising. One will feature a new face in PWG, Shaun Borders, as he tackles the task of Omega, who is another man placed on the "Last Chance" list here in PWG and Shawn Braxton in a Triple Threat match - the first fall will determine the winner. The final match signed for NYR will pit The Vipers, who seem rocky as of late, against The Sainthood. Both teams have a lot to offer and this is their chance to shine in a big way.

PWG Scoops for December 7, 2004
-John Iley successfully defended his PWG Heavyweight Title last week, we caught with him after the show, how did he feel after match?

Iley: "Relieved, it was a hard fought match I'll admit, but at least I came out of that match with the title. I'll give Josh credit though, he put up one hell of a fight. But if he keeps his anger in check, he might just go that little bit farther in this business. And if he does, I see great things for him in the future!"

What about New Year Rising? As of yet John does not have an oppoent.

Iley: "Well , if I had known prior, that there were two guys going for the number one spot, I'd have requested a triple threat match! But I can live with watching Collins and Hudson battle it out!"

Who would Iley prefer to face?

Iley: "Wouldn't bother me either way! One on hand, there's Collins, who I faced in the tournament, and I did say that Skylark deserves a match against me, if he returns when I have the title, so naturally Collins would also be worthy of that honour. And as for Hudson? Well, we all know that I have something he used, and used it poorly!"

Iley is of course referring to Leigh Dominguez who happens to be sitting alongside the PWG Champion himself. Here's what she thinks about the possibility of a match between Iley and Hudson.

"I think it would be a conflict in interest," Leigh said. "I mean, I wouldn't be able to watch the match without wanting John to rip Alex's head off. But in all honesty, I hate to say it, Alex has a lot of talent. He's a good contender, just a bad person in general. If he can beat Jonathan Collins, which I don't bet on it, then I say - bring him on. But I don't think he deserves anything good in this company, he's scum."

Hmm, strong words there. So finally does our champion have any plans for New Year Rising?

Iley: "Hopefully, I have a match! Against who? I don't know, I'll consider my options and see. Maybe I can have a result for you next time!"

Well then, looks like we'll just have to wait and see!

-PWG officials caught up with "The Prodigy" after his match at "Defending Glory" the 30th of November, and with good reason - Alex Hudson wasn't in the best of moods. Princess Candace, who for this interview was wearing a Santa's hat, was trying to get Hudson to look on the bright side of things.

"There is no bright side of this, this SHAM..." Hudson started, "It's the Christmas Season. A time for happiness, yuletide carols, eggnog, Christmas decor... AND SCREW OVERS! At "Defending Glory" I was shafted by that assclown Jonathan Collins. He didn't want to lose to me, so he got us BOTH counted out!"

Princess Candace sighed, "You see. You SEE? I've been trying to make Alex smile since November 30th, here it is, the beginning of the happiest month of the year, and he's miserable. THANK YOU, Jonathan Collins!" she said, crossing her arms. "But one thing that has made him feel better, is the fact he has a number one contendership match at New Year Rising."

"AGAINST...Jonathan Collins..." Hudson said through gritted teeth, "I'm going to shut that egomaniac up once and for all on December 31rst. He'll be ringing in the New Year in a hospital bed if I have anything to say about it. Nobody tries to embarass Alex Hudson and gets away with it. After I'm done with Collins, I'm going to cruise into my rightful placement against that Charity Case John Iley, and do what Joshua Frampton couldn't. Win that title..."

-Collins, despite a draw against Alex Hudson, was in good spirits following the match. Both he and Hilary Bennett shrugged off his draw, citing his "age" as a factor.

"Hey...I'm in my late twenties. I should be sitting at home collecting social security." Collins said with a laugh before stopping his laughter.

"That may have been funny...but you know something? The next time I face Alex Hudson...it won't be funny. He's going to find out that the foundation of PWG is Jonathan Collins. My mark is everywhere he'll look. Let's see what he thinks about that."

-Once again, Joshua Frampton left no comment to website reporters or anyone else following his loss to John Iley. Frampton was utterly annoyed at people following the match, even walking away from Hilary Bennett. There are some in the (R)Evolution camp that wonder what will be the fate of his next opponent with the mounting frustration in Joshua Frampton.

-Brandon Williams is now starting to feel proud of himself...he's not cocky by any means. He's just finally getting a feel for this company. Right now he's just looking to keep good on his words, and winning streak...hoping to some day be in title contention.

"I'm willing to face who ever they throw at me. I'm willing to face guys bigger than me. That's no big deal. I'll do whatever it takes to keep holding up the Pillars, and moving myself up." He said looking very serious. "I think I want to face people like Stevie Erickson, and Chip Masters. I want to prove to guys that being small doesn't mean anything...if you've got the skills." He nods, sure of himself.

Aimee is not to far behind him in speaking up for how much she believes in the man she valets.

"Brandon is a very talented person. If he's given half the chance, he could be come a champion as well. He's got motivation, and most of all he's got heart. Heart gets you far in a business like this...as long as you remember who you are and where you come from."

-We catch up in New York City, in Central Park. It's snowing out, and it looks like part of a really nice movie. Walking down one of the paths, we see a very familiar female, dressed in blue jeans, a long blue and white furlined coat, and a pair of gloves. It's Lena D. She's not alone however, as with her, both in jeans and respectively hooded sweatshirts and gloves - is Mac Diaz and Adrian Lauderdale. All three look pretty happy, and maybe this time the gentlemen will talk?

"You know that phrase, I hate to say I told you so?" Lena D. started, smirking to herself as Adrian put his arm around her. "Well, I told you so. You mess with Too Hood, you get knocked down, and that's exactly what happened at 'Defending Glory' to a few unfortunate people."

"We just did what we knew we could do," Diaz said. "We knew we had it in us to take those boys to school, and let's just say - sitting back at the Too Hood crib, are the PWG Tag Team Championship titles."

"I've gotten a lot of questions since the show, though." Lena commented, "People asking me, what was with the clipboard, Lena? What was with it? I was taking notes on the other tag teams in PWG, so I can further assist Too Hood in preparing for their title defenses. I took plenty of notes on their opponents for New Year Rising, too. Iconoclasm. I said they were alright, and they kind of proved me right."

"They're only 'alright'," Lauderdale said. "They're not great. I can't even tell ya what either of their names are..."

"Chris Jameson and Jason McNeill." Lena chimed in with a smirk.

"Yeah, whatever boo." Adrian said. "We proved time and time again, we're the best damned tag team PWG has to offer. We're consistantly unfathomable. And when we face..."

"Chris and Jason..." Lena once again said, as Adrian gestured toward her. "Them," He said sarcastically, "Mac and I are gonna show 'em why Too Hood is the mother f-ing franchise, and what it's like to go straight hood -- word."

-Jason McNeill and Chris Jameson took no shame in their loss to Too Hood. Instead, the pair viewed it as a learning experience, and are looking even more forward to the next show, due to their chance at wresting the titles from a team that has never had a straight up tag team match in PWG.

"We're pretty confident in our own abilities now. We've seen that we can get close to the upper echelon here. Now, all we need to do is take that next step. It's more than a possibility...it's a reality."

-We sat down with The Vipers for an interview.

Payne: Too Hood, congrats on being the first PWG tag team champions. It was supposed be our destiny, but apparently it was yours. We are gonna get a shot at those belts I'm sure, after all, we are the 2nd best team in PWG. Now, I can understand why Iconoclasm, the 3rd best team, got the shot before us, but it's still not fair. Someday, our destiny will be fulfilled. We fought hard last week and we do deserve a shot.

Bane: Wait. WE fought hard? What's this WE crap? Of the two of us, I was in there the longest. You were only in once.

Payne: Calm down big man. I say WE because WE are a team. I wasn't in much because I wasn't tagged in. And that's not my fault.

Bane: So essentially you're saying that I lost the match, because I'm selfish.

Payne: No. I'm saying WE lost, not you alone. You're not selfish. You just were not given a chance to tag.

Bane: That's not what it sounded like to me.

Payne: Well, maybe we do have a problem. After all, we only beat Rebellious Youth and The Sainthood in our PWG career, and any two clowns could beat those teams. Maybe we're not the juggernaut that we were before, but we're a team and we stick together. And you know as well as I do that you're nothing without me.

    Bane: WHAT?

Payne: It's true. You have never won a singles title in your whole career. It's always been a tag team title.

Bane: Your only singles title was a hardcore title. Anyone can win that title. You just have to be good using weapons.

Payne walks off as the interview ends.

-PWG Officials were puzzled upon receiving a copy of that last interview, featuring The Vipers. Rumors are flying as to what this could mean for the future of the duo.

-More matches have been signed for the big New Year Rising card on December 31! In a non-title match, PWG Heavyweight Champion, John Iley will take on Mark Sherrick. These two met in the first round of the tournament where Iley became Champion, and now Sherrick has a chance to face him once again!

-PWG has placed two wrestlers in "Last Chance" situations at New Year Rising. The first is Chip Masters, who will get a Last Chance to shine against Brandon Williams. The second wrestler getting a Last Chance will be Stevie Erickson, who will take on Joshua Frampton. If Erickson and Masters do not show through with breakout performances, PWG officials will release them from the Roster.

    PWG Scoops (11/9/04)
-We join the first ever PWG Champion, John Iley in training for his first title defense on November 30 in Chicago Ridge against Josh Frampton. The PWG Title is with him, resting on a table next to where we are sitting for this interview. We get the thoughts and feelings of the first champion since his historic win.

Iley: "What can I say? The biggest win of my career! Facing three tough opponents and coming away with the PWG Heavyweight Title. I said that after I rested up I was going to celebrate. And boy did I ever! I had a great time, I'll admit I got very drunk I spent the next day with the worst hangover ever, but it was worth it! [Laughs]. I spoke to my folks back in England and they were estatic, they want me to send them a copy of the show so they'll be getting that as soon as its released. But it has been emotional for me too. I felt so much happiness with the win, but I was upset that my folks couldn't be there. But you can't everything."

What about John's three opponents that night?

Iley: "Hey, those three guys, each one of them, give them an ovation! Bobby, Jon and Josh, those three guys pushed me to the limit! I think out of all three Jon pushed me the furthest. Me and Josh were both tired after our two matches and Jon really put the hurt on me, but I persisted, I fought through the pain and exhaustion and came out the winner. I'm proud of all three of those guys, any one of them could have came away as champion, I'll take nothing away from for their ethic that night!"

And Josh Frampton has been named the number one contender and will face John on November 30. How does he feel facing Josh once again?

Iley: "I'm feeling good about it. This time, it's going to be very different. We'll both be fresh, we'll be more focused, we'll both be on top of our game. The fans thought they got a match and a half out of us at Rise of a Champion? They'll get that times a million come November 30."

But this time, John has to defend his newly won title. Is that going to put any more pressure than trying to win the title?

Iley: "Not really, I feel the pressure will be more on Josh than myself. I had to face both Jon and Josh that night, a teacher and his student, and I successfully defeated both. Now I know that's going to sound big headed of me. But it is the truth. If I can beat them both in one night, then surely the pressure lies more on Josh than me. I know I can beat him, he knows I can beat him. Sure, I'm the champion and I have to defend that title against all comers. And so far, I think I've done pretty good here in PWG. A Gautlet match and a tournament, I've faced in the last couple of months, no less than six different men, all with different styles, I'm still unbeaten here in PWG. So sure there's pressure on me. But for Josh, he has something more to prove. He's not going to find it easy. I don't intend to be a 'one hit wonder' after winning the title. I plan on defending that title well into next year and beyond. I showed a very competitive side that night and it won't be going away anytime soon. Josh Frampton deserves all the props he gets, but unfortunately, he won't be champion on my shift wearing the PWG Heavyweight Title!"

Serious words there from the champion, and come November 30, we'll no doubt see more of the 'competitive side' of John Iley.

-We get The Vipers reaction to the tag team title announcement.

Payne: FINALLY, we will prove that we are the best team in PWG.

Bane: Mark November 30 down on your calendars, because that is the day that our destiny will be fulfilled.

Payne: You are looking at your new PWG tag team champions.

-Frampton referred to his performance at Crowning A Champion as "disgusting" to several people at the end of the night, going so far as to saying Iley's win was "a sham". When approached about those comments a few days later, Frampton's words were still scathing.

"That old man is someone I could care less about...but he still has the PWG Title, so right now, I've got no choice but to care." he said. He went so far to call Iley "delusional" about his relationship with his trainer, Jonathan Collins.

"I've been a fan, so don't act like I haven't seen. He rode Jon's coattails for a few years, and he acts like he didn't. He didn't evenscore the pinfall in the one match he's defeated Jon in before the last show. One match. Talk about living in the past. Besides, Jonathan doesn't even like him. Ask Iley if he's ever gotten a phone call returned." he added. Needless to say, Joshua Frampton isn't pleased, and his training is showing it. He has picked it up, and canceled all future bookings to have enough time to train and prepare for this match.

-Jonathan Collins recently left a message on his website, talking about his last PWG show. He left the following comments on certain topics...

       On wrestling full-time again:

"It feels great..and the atmosphere it's under couldn't be better. Chicago Ridge fans are the best."

       On losing to John Iley:

"It's not like I haven't lost before. People shouldn't make a big deal out of it."

       On Alex Hudson:

"I'd like to care, but we'll see how it goes with him pulling his head out of his ass first."

On the encounter between Hilary Bennett and Candace Ford:

"If you don't have anything nice to say...Hilly just doesn't like cheaters. Ugly cheaters at that."

Collins mood is considerably light, and he was even shocked he cracked the top five rankings.

"Color me surprised, man...I didn't think I had a number five performance in me. Number six? Maybe." he added with a laugh.

-Their first two PWG matches under their belt, Jason McNeill and Chris Jameson have demonstrated flashes of occasional brilliance. Now, they hope to maintain that brilliance in their third match, a match for the PWG Tag Team Titles. The two have started to watch matches of several high profile tag teams, including matches of Too Hood, examining for weaknesses and holes in their offense. The two will also spend an undisclosed amount of time working with Jonathan Collins in the hopes of improving their teamwork. Collins, also a gifted tag team wrestler, has said that he will not allow Iconoclasm to compete unless he's approved them for battle.

-Brandon Williams on the tail of his win, didn't waste any time. Once he heard he was facing Mark Sherrick...the last man he eleminated from the battle royal...he went right to work, with his valet Aimee Harper making sure he works out. When asked how he feels about his first win he says...

"I feel great. Everyone loves the taste of that first win...it's the second win that's the trickiest. I'm not trying to take any credit away from Sherrick, because I've been taught better, but this is something that I need to do for myself. I never thought I'd leave the (R)Evolultion Dojo. I thought I'd end up there forever, and now that I've made it to Pro Wrestling Glory, I'm going to make the most of it. With Aimee by my side, and her guide on showing me what I need to do, I know I can do just about anything I put my head into. So Sherrick and I are wrestling soon, and I plan on getting the W." He says as he sips some water from the local gym.

Aimee is standing in the background, until it's her turn...

"Brandon knows what he's got to do to win. I'm just around to make sure he does it. That's what the two of us do for one another. We're the best of friends, and we look out for one another. I'd do anything for him if I could. I just want to be by his side when he makes it to the top. I look at the kids we trained with, and they are all amazing. All of us strive to have the success of Joshua Frampton, and if he can do it...we all believe we can too. Especially Brandon...Brandon has a good head on his shoulders, and will not let one little win go to his head. What he does is take that and strive to beat it. He's a perfectionist, and sometimes that's good, and other times it isn't, but he knows what he's got to do. Sherrick better know what he's getting into...sure he's a veteran, and Brandon respects that, but he still needs the win." She says as she goes back and joins Brandon who is running in place to keep his legs warmed up and stretched out.

Brandon speaks again, while he runs with his black hair back and forth as he runs...getting all up in his face.

"Sherrick..I respect you, yes I do, but know that I am in this for the win. I am very honorable, for Jonathan taught me that's the right way to be. I'm sure you're going to break Pillars Of Glory, and that will anger me, because that just isn't right. You shouldn't be here if that's what you're going to do. Just know that I will not break the Pillars for nothing...or anybody." He says...right before the both of them leave and continue their training.

    PWG Scoops (11/2/04)
-After the show we caught up with John Iley backstage after his win of the PWG Title. Leigh is with him and John is overwhemled with emotion. He's smiling but the tears are flowing. Between wiping away the tears and trying to keep himself in check, Iley had these words to say...

Iley: "I can't believe I did it. This is without a doubt, the biggest night of my entire career. Ten years I've been in this business, I've won a few titles in my time, but never a title as big as this. I want to say thank you to all the fans who has supported me here in PWG. I want to thank Corey Collins for making me the offer of coming here in the first place. And of course, I want the guys I've faced in this tournament. Mark Sherrick, Bobby Skylark, Jon Collins and of course Joshua Frampton. All those guys put up great matches each one of them tested me to the limit. But now, I'm the first PWG Champion, I'm tired and I'm sore. I'm going back to Toronto, and I'm going to rest up for a day, then celebrate the fact that I won this title, [He holds up the PWG Belt] and I did it for the fans out there who come and see us in action. Thank you all!"

Leigh also had this to say: "It's hard to make this week any better for me. I mean, with my boyfriend - the love of my life - accomplishing something so great at Rise of a Champion, and my Boston Red Sox winning the World Series after being a life long fan. It's hard to say which one ranks higher..." [Leigh laughs softly] "But I would say, it's a very very close tie. I'm so proud of him, and I'm so happy he got to win the title against a man the likes of Joshua Frampton. A man who was able to shut the mouth of Alex Hudson for one, and for two, put up an amazing bout with John. I really can't say much, except thank you guys for believing in Iley, and thank you Joshua for being an unbelievable contender. It's just so much to take in... I really don't know what to say...it's incredible.."

-Alex Hudson and Princess Candace Ford were none happy after "Rise of a Champion", but then again, can it really be expected from someone the likes of "The Prodigy" to take loss so well? He touched base on a few things, including Hilary Bennett, Joshua Frampton, John Iley, and Leigh Dominguez.

"Absolutely revolting," Hudson said, "John Iley thinks he's classified championship material? Give me a break. He beat a jobber like Josh Frampton for that title. If it was me he was facing, he would be crying and carrying on for another reason. BECAUSE HE LOST! One thing I know for sure, is that Hilary Bennett? The little unadulterated skank needs to keep her nose out of Candace and my royal business..."

"She had the nerve to attack me?" Candace said, scoffing, "It's ridiculous. Lucky for her, I don't have a purpose to fight back against useless trash. If I wanted to waste my time with that, I'd fire my maid and do housework myself. It's a better way to get my hands dirty than on someone like her..."

"But yes," Hudson cut back in. "It's all well, Josh Frampton got a cheap win over me, and he only moved on to the finals to get his ass kicked by the single biggest loser I've ever encountered. It's almost humiliating we have someone like that jackass representing PWG. And as for the coat tail riding wench at his side, Leigh Dominguez, I have half the mind to take her to the pound. If she was half the woman Candace was, she'd be all right, but unlucky for her, she came up a little short. On all accounts. Heh, sorry, Iley...but that's not saying much for you... MATE..."

Some rather harsh words coming from the obviously bitter Alex Hudson, and his manager Princess Candace. Only time will tell if this dynamic duo will have anything else to say.

-We meet The Vipers backstage after their afternoon show main event loss. This is what they had to say:

Bane: Too Hood, ya did it again. We lost to you. You're lucky. We congratulate Iconoclasm for their good job, but we still lost to the inferior team of Too Hood.

Payne: We did get some satisfaction, though, as Adrian tasted his own blood.

Bane: Too Hood, you are inferior to us. We should beat you everytime. The problem is everytime we wrestle, we're in a three team match.

Payne: Whenever we get you two on two, WE will come out on top.

-PWG Officials met with Bobby Skylark the day after Rise of a Champion. Skylark suffered an undisclosed knee injury during his match with John Iley and will be out of Pro Wrestling Glory for an undetermined amount of time. Skylark will hopefully recover soon and return to PWG.

-Look for a new Top 5 this week as well as the video release of RoaC. Who will take on John Iley in his first defense in November? That huge bombshell announcement will come later this week!

    PWG Scoops (10/25/04)
-With a few words regarding her clients Mac Diaz and Adrian Lauderdale, who were in the gym training up for "Rise of a Champion", Lena D. made a special trip to the PWG Offices to get the point of the tag team's ambitions for the show across to the audience at large.

"Too Hood may not know their opponents going into 'Rise of a Champion', but let me fill you in on a little something. They don't care. If could be all of these tag teams in one ring, and I can already tell you who the winners would be. Too Hood. Why? Over in my camp, we have something called know how, talent, and availabilty to opportunity."

Lena went on to say, "The Vipers think they have it made. These are two men with absolutely no room to talk about anything. They haven't accomplished anything extraordinary in PWG, and with Too Hood in their way, they won't. The same goes for all of the other boys who think they have what it takes. I don't even need to get involve for Mac and Adrian to best everyone they come in contact with. It's almost sinister...

So when 'Rise of a Champion' is in the books, it's just going to be a little bit of history repeating itself. Throw up the W for Too Hood, and get used to it. It's not Diaz or Lauderdale's fault they're just, that good."

Mac Diaz and Adrian Lauderdale couldn't be reached for personal comment, but Lena seemed to have covered bases for them in their training wake. We'd just have to see if Lena's insight on the tag team known as Too Hood was biased, or just accurate.

-We join Alex Hudson and his manager Princess Candace Ford one last time before "Rise Of A Champion", and for some reason, Alex seems a little disappointed. Princess Candace had a few words for us.

"You see, Alex expected to have heard something, anything from Chip Masters regarding their match at 'Rise of a Champion', and it's almost daunting that Chip hasn't yet crawled out from his rock. That's not going to stop Alex Hudson from getting his spot in the finals of this title tournament, you better believe he's ready no matter what."

Alex Hudson had a few things to address: "First and foremost, Chippy, I'm surprised. I thought you were a challenge, my man. I guess I'm a tad-o disappointed. You want to teach people in the form of a Masters Degree? Well, get ready for the Bona Fide Prodigy, jackass.

Secondly, this, John Iley - character. He must think he's real swift. Real cute. I don't buy his 'good boy' deal. I want to just take him out for tea and crumpets, and shove them where the sun doesn't shine! He irritates me, and before long I'll get the chance to shut his mouth. Oh yeah, and given the opportunity? Leigh's too..."

-Once more back to Toronto and we catch up with John Iley, who, with just a few words, is training in his gym in preperation for RoaC.

Iley: "I've drafted in a couple of guys to help me out with the styles in this match, some high flyers, a couple of guys who are classed as 'X Division', and some mat guys. I'm trying to find ways of conserving strength and enery yet still give 100% in my match. I could be wrestling three matches, so I need to know how to handle myself, considering two of those guys will be fresh!"

Interesting strategy, We haven't heard much from Bobby Skylark, is John concerned at all?

Iley: "Not really, Skylark is full of surprises, no doubt he's hard training, like I am, like we all are, but I can assure everyone, they'll get a great match out of us and as well with Collins, those two matches are ones that the fans will enjoy, regardless of the results. But I'm determined to make it to the final against whoever!"

And what of the final if John makes it...

Iley: "I'll be ready, as I said I'm working with these guys to help me focus, the gauntlet match I had upon my debut here in PWG is nothing compared to this. It's been a while since I was in a tournment, but nothing will stop me from becoming the first PWG Heavyweight Champion.

I want to go out and give the fans what they pay for, pure wrestling. No one else here in PWG can give them that, PWG is tradition, and thats what I'm all about. No one will deny me the PWG Heavyweight Title"

-There have been some inner rumblings within PWG offices this past week. There is talk of some athletes coming to PWG, while some PWG regulars may be on their ways out. A very tight lid is being kept on the situation, but Owner Corey Collins has been in conferences with PWG officials discussing the futures of numerous PWG athletes. More on this story as it develops.

-In lighter news, this weekend is all about showcasing the skills of those involved in the PWG Heavyweight Title Tournament. Owner Collins has stated a number of times recently that the focus this weekend is all about one-on-one competition and seeing the best action PWG can offer. Rise of a Champion is this Saturday and history will be made; don't miss out!

    PWG Scoops (10/18/04)
-PWG officials caught up with John Iley at his home in Toronto this week. He had the following to say on the next round of the PWG Heavyweight Title Tournament:

"Well, I'm ready! I'm getting a buzz just thinking about it. I'm facing Bobby Skylark next and to me this is going to be a decent match to say the least, I'm talking a four and a half star match at least! Bobby Skylark has proven himself well here in PWG, the match certainly won't be easy, but I can guarentee the fans will not be disappointed in this match"

Iley continued on; "Without a doubt, Bobby will go far, here's a young lad who's been ranked second and then first in the PWG rankings. This lad has worked hard to get where he is. But, unfortunately, I have to be the one who smudges that reputation. I beat Sherrick with a little pyschology in my first round match, I had to, it was the only way in my opinion of defeating a guy like that. Give him some room, think he has me, WHACK, I reel him in and catch him totally off guard.

But I'm digressing, Bobby has to realise, even though he's beaten a guy like Chip Masters, I'm a different kettle of fish. Sure, Masters and I are both technically sound wrestlers, but Masters' style is different to mine, there aren't many English and European style wrestlers here in America, I can't imagine he's faced anyone like me. As much as I respect the little fella, I'm not going to go easy on him. To me, the PWG Title is not just for me, it's for everyone, especially the fans here. This federation to me, is almost like being home, back when I was a lad of 18 wrestling in England. Other than Masters, I think Bob has had it easy here so far, I'm going to be going in pretty strong at ROC."

Iley was then asked about the possibility of facing Jonathan Collins, if he defeats Bobby Skylark:

"I... can't... wait for that to happen. Any fans who know the history of me and Jon will know it was Jon who got me working for Corey Collins in his old federation. Sure, we had our moments, but we never got to be in one on one competition, he claims we've fought, but back then, I wasn't John Iley. I've had a six man against JC, we've even had our disagreements, but I for one have wanted to face Jon for a long time as myself. At the show, I'll hopefully be getting that chance. And when I do, I'll not let up on him, just because we're old friends. Our friendship will have to be put aside for this match. I've proven I'm fighting fit, the back has completely healed, I'll do whatever it takes to win that match, I'm not going to break the rules, this is Pro Wrestling Glory, Wrestling being the key word. I'm wrestling through and through, and Jon Collins and John Iley may know each others strengths and weaknesses, but I'm going to be focussed on this match as much as I will be with Bob, I'm going to make sure I win that PWG Title and do this federation proud!"

As for the competitors in the second bracket: Shawn Braxton comes across to me as a pretty boy who's more interested in his looks than wrestling technique, sure he's a wrestler when he wants to be, but you so much as give him a bruise he'll get upset and start acting like a big baby. He did will against Jenkins, I'll give him that, but, as I said, he was beaten by Frampton once before, I predict Frampton to come out on top again!. Chip Masters tried to cripple me, he put my back to the test. There's no denying that, but I walked away, on my own terms from that encounter, no help from the officals. And his actions afterwards to Collins, were uncalled for. Masters to me, is not the man he once was. He's trying to recapture his past glory and failing miserably. Masters to me, has no business being here, personally I don't care either way wether he wins or loses, because if he wins and gets to the final, I'd glady face him and give him a taste of his own medicine. If he's beaten before, then so be it. Quite frankly Masters doesn't belong here in my opinion, and doesn't even deserve so much as a glance at the Heavyweight Title."

As for Alex Hudson, Leigh fielded that one: "He must feel like a real man, you know. He comes out here, opens his mouth, talks a lot of crap - and expects people to like him. Or respect him. He's in for a rude awakening if he thinks he's going to have it easy here in PWG, because guys like John aren't going to allow it."

Iley had the following to say in closing: "Get ready for the first PWG Heavyweight champion who's here for the fans, the pure wrestling aspect and English, you're looking at him, his name is John Iley! Haway the lads!"

-We watch up with Alex Hudson this week, who is naturally with his manager Candace Ford. The two seem to be in good spirits as they haven't been seen since Road To Glory.

"Sorry to deny you people of the Prodigy," Princess Candace started, "But we've been busy. Alex has been training for his match at "Rise Of A Champion" you know. He at least takes the time, unlike his opponent."

"I guess I should be 'worried' about facing Chip Masters. I don't care about him, just like I don't care about whoever else I'd have to face. This is MY time to shine, and I'm not going to let some loose cannon named Chip screw me over!"

"Alex has all the tools it takes to beat Chip Masters, you realize. He's got focus, he's got charisma, and he's got something Masters is obviously lacking. Talent." Candace said, "It would be a catastrophe if the likes of Chip Masters was to move on past Alex, because the title would be tarnished if he won it..."

"Which is why I'm not going to let him get anywhere," Alex said confidently. "He's used to giving people the "Masters Degree"? Well I'm used to proving why I'm a "Bona Fide Prodigy". Deal with it..."

-Catching up with "Too Hood", Lena D., Mac Diaz, and Adrian Lauderdale, neither of the three seemed pleased by the words of their opposition.

"Okay, so they don't dig us, no love loss," Lauderdale started, "But ya see, we deserve a bye into this thing more than of the other teams here. We're established, ya heard?"

"The Vipers are jealous of us." Diaz stated surely. "I mean, come on. Some 'New York Connection' between us and the boss? Give me a break. We're just talented. We've got something called 'a future'. Isn't that somethin'?

"You can keep your eye on Too Hood..." Lena D said with a smirk. "But the only thing you'll be seeing is us pass you by. Isn't it just sad to be you?"

"The rest of ya'll..." Lauderdale said, "You're just gunna have to wait and see what we have in store for ya. It's not going to be any better than what the Vipers can expect..."

-Rise of a Champion is just 13 days away, and the stakes are higher than ever before! One man will leave that evening as the first-ever Pro Wrestling Glory Heavyweight Champion. All eyes will be fixed on a main event that will captivate the audience, without a question! In other exciting PWG news, the New Champion will make his first title defense November 30 at the USA Sports Center in Springfield, Illinois!

    PWG Scoops (10/13/04)
-Jason McNeill and Chris Jameson have already made it a point to take home two victories on the big afternoon show. The two have gone on a pattern of being heavily booked one weekend, and resting the next, in order to get enough training and experience time in, but not enough to wear themselves out. "We've got an advantage..." Jameson told PWG. "Nobody's seen a lick of us. We're going to turn some heads."

-A PWG camera crew was dispatched to the Gateway Arch to catch up with The Vipers with their thoughts on their match(es) at Rise of a Champion:

Payne: According to this, it looks like we have a match coming up, Bane.

Bane: Who's our victims this time?

Payne: Well, it's The Sainthood to start things off. Winners go on to face Too Hood in another three team match.

Bane: It figures they would get the bye. I think I know why too, and it's not because they stole that victory from us.

Payne: Yea Bane, I know. Seems like the boss favors Too Hood. Possibly because of some New York connection.

Bane: Sainthood, nothing against you, but you're our road block to getting revenge on Too Hood. So, we're gonna have to pummel you first, then Too Hood, you're ours, regardless of the third tag team.

Payne: This is a warning for that third team. If we make it that far, you better stay out of our way. Our sights will be set on Too Hood.

-Joshua Frampton, who unveiled a flurry of new submissions against Chip Masters, is eager to use them again when he faces off against Shawn Braxton. "He caught me off guard last time, but he won't this time. I'm ready." he said. Frampton won't be doing any tours in Japan or any other bookings as he plans on spending the next month training to increase his endurance.

-Brandon Williams has been a busy boy as of late. Not only has he been traveling over seas to get a bit more experience, but he's been following in the steps of his mentor/teacher Jonathan Collins, and went to go and see some of the same people who taught Jonathan. He went in there with the right attitude, and has been there ever since trying to learn all he needs to know to help get himself on a winning streak. Aimee Harper has followed him trying to make sure he keeps himself healthy. She makes him go to the gym, and get enough sleep. He thanks her for that, because if she wasn't there he'd be running himself ragged. He just wants to get on a good streak much like Joshua and Jonathan are in Pro Wrestling Glory.

Brandon's thoughts on the Battle Royal:

"I'm taking this one step at a time. I don't want to get ahead of myself. I know that every man that's going to be in that ring, is pulling for the same goals that I am. I know that I'm going into this with my head on straight, and I won't be getting to ahead of myself. I need to focus on what's around me, and hopefully that will get me the W...which is all I want. All of those six men that are involved are incredible athletes, and I'm not doubting their skills at all, but I do want the win, and right now that's all that matters to me."

-After a week in which Sherrick was unable to be reached by anyone in the PWG, he left a message at the PWG headquarters, stating that while he was extremely upset at losing in the opening round of the tournament, that he was in no doubt a beaten man, retaining his #4 spot in the rankings. He detailed his plan for winning the battle royale, and some of the more devious things he plans to do in the near future, especially once a champion is crowned.

-Jonathan Collins is already looking at his final round opponent, but he seems to be training for one in particular. He has acquired tapes of the PWG shows to this point, and other indy releases to get a good look at Bobby Skylark. "I've never been in the ring with him, so I'm looking to get a few glimpses of him. I've beaten Iley before, so I have a strategy for that. Skylark's the wild card."

    PWG Scoops (10/4/04)
-Most of the card has been set for Rise of a Champion on October 28. In second round matches of the PWG Heavyweight Title Tournament, John Iley and Bobby Skylark will face off. The winner will face Jonathan Collins in the finals of Bracket One; Collins receives a bye due to his scheduled opponent, Troy Fenix, having to pull out of PWG. In Bracket Two, Shawn Braxton faces Joshua Frampton, who received a bye in the first round. Alex Hudson and Chip Masters will square off to take on the winner of Braxton/Frampton in the final round of Bracket Two. The winners of final matches in each Bracket will then face each other to crown the first PWG Heavyweight Champion! Six huge singles matches will surely set the crowd afire!

-The afternoon card will feature a focus on PWG Tag Teams. In matches just signed, The Vipers will take on The Sainthood and Rebellious Youth will face Iconoclasm. The two teams that win from that match will square off with Too Hood later in that afternoon show.

-Also in the afternoon, the athletes who did not come out with wins in the first round of the Heavyweight Title Tournament will be featured. Mark Sherrick, Brandon Williams, James Halford, Omega, Adam Jenkins, Stevie Erickson, and Wreck will battle it out in the first ever PWG Battle Royal! The stakes will be high, as each man will be trying to claim his spot in the PWG hierarchy.

-The afternoon show will be a live show only - it will not be released on video. This will be a special treat to those in attendance in Crest Hill. The afternoon show has a start time of 2:00 PM, while the evening portion will begin at 7:00 PM. Who knows how far into the night the final action will go at Rise of a Champion!

-After Rise of a Champion, expect the Top 5 Rankings to be shaken up quite a bit, with a large emphasis being placed on them. In November, whoever becomes the first PWG Heavyweight Champion will be challenged by whoever is the Number One Contender after RoaC. That person will not necessarily be the second man in the final match, though; PWG officials expect quite a number of fighters to try and steal the spotlight not only in the final rounds of the tournament, but also in the Battle Royal earlier in the day.

-The video release for Road To Glory is set to be released this week. Ron Martin and Vincent Coltrane are in the studio as we speak, tweaking their finalized product with the PWG Production Crew.

    PWG Scoops (9/27/04)
-PWG Officials would like to congratulate all of those who made it into the second round of the Heavyweight Title Tournament. One of those seven men will become the first ever Pro Wrestling Glory Heavyweight Champion in October at Rise of a Champion! The number is seven and not eight, because late last night after Road To Glory, Troy Fenix informed PWG Officials that he would have to leave PWG for the time being. The door is open for a return down the road, but for right now, Troy Fenix is stepping away from PWG. We wish him the best of luck in the future.

-Due to Fenix leaving PWG, there is an empty spot in the second round of the tournament. Jonathan Collins will now receive a bye straight into the finals of Bracket One, facing the winner of John Iley and Bobby Skylark.

-PWG Officials decided earlier this week that there will be an afternoon showcase card the same date as Rise of a Champion. The show will be a live event only, and will not make it to video. This show will focus on the tag teams of PWG, and perhaps singles matches as well. More on this show will be reported as it becomes available.

-Although Brandon Williams was in a losing effort against Bobby Skylark, he took it as a learning experience. Williams is already reportedly back in California, looking over tapes and trying to get some more in-ring time in the (R)Evolution Dojo in an attempt to be better prepared for his next match.

-Chris Jameson and Jason McNeill seemed far from happy this week, as the two were asked by Jonathan Collins to participate in the ring crew for this month's PWG show. They felt that being asked to come in only to set up the ring and watch was a little pointless, but Collins told them that "it builds character". Jameson was the angrier of the pair, and was heard saying this.

"With all due respect, man...we need to get into that ring, or we're never gonna get respect."

-Joshua Frampton took no pleasure in his victory over Chip Masters. He felt like he had an advantage going in, and he can't wait to face Masters one more time on even setting. "I proved my point when I beat him, but I didn't get the pleasure of making him tap out. I didn't even shake his hand." he said, adding "The next time, the last time...he's going to remember the loss."

-Looking like he had no signs of ring rust, Jonathan Collins picked up a first round victory, and immediately looked towards the second round, with his match against Troy Fenix. "This kid reminds me of me." he said. "Wonderful...I'm gonna have to die in the ring to pick up the 'w'." he added with a laugh. "Well, at least if I lose, I'm losing to a kid with a passion...even if he IS a bit of an attitude problem. That's why I came here though...to deal with problem children."

-Continuing to concentrate on their debut, both Julian and Kade have been making sure that they have been ready. Watching carefully for their competition they haven't paid much attention to much else besides the other teams within the PWG. Continually training at undisclosed Pro Wrestling Glory locations they have remained constant in their training program. Drena Fury only could afford a few minutes from assiting "The Sainthood's" training to make a small but important statement.

"They are ready for anything now and only require the competition to be placed in front of them. Both Julian and Kade are ready for anything to come their way and they have been preparing for weeks now and have become in tune with one another. They have the makings of a great team and a way to become a huge impact. Beginning instantly."

-Right after his seemingly out of nowhere win at Road to Glory, we catch John Iley and Leigh Dominguez making a dash out of the arena. John's face still smiling but his eyes seem to tell a different story.

Iley: "I had a great match tonight, I can't deny that, but I really don't have much time, I've just heard that I'm facing Bobby Skylark in the next round and I'll have more to say on that next time, but now *Checking his watch* I really must dash, I have to catch a flight back home to England. I have to attend a funeral of a relative who died last week, I'll catch up with you all next time!"

With that John and Leigh race out of the building, our condolences to John on his loss.

-Many more details about Rise of a Champion will come out in the coming weeks. Also, a Top 5 will be published this week, with some shake ups in the Rankings. The Top 5 following RoaC will be crucial, as the wrestler ranker Number 1 will be the first person to receive a shot at whoever becomes PWG Heavyweight Champion.

    PWG Scoops (9/20/04)
-Anticipating his debut at "Road To Glory", 'The Prodigy' Alex Hudson has been working double-time to prepare for his big match. However, in the words of Princess Candace, Alex is more than ready for whatever may come his way at "RtG".

"Alex is capable of anything in my opinion," Candace said. "You see, over the past couple of weeks, he has been in the gym, and of course, back at MPW, he's been getting that additional practice. We recently found out, he'll be facing a man named Stevie Erickson at the event. Alex, is hardly worried. I'm, hardly worried."

Cameras shifted behind Candace, as Alex Hudson is shown hitting the "Inevitable Sensation" on his in-ring training opponent. Candace was clapping, as Alex slowly slipped out of the ring, leaving his training partner down. Did he have any respect for him? Probably not...

"Ah... we're in the home-stretch before 'Road To Glory', and I'm thrilled about that" Alex said, as he put his arm around his manager's shoulders. "You see, the Princess and I have been doing a lot of talking about all of this, and Mr. No-Name, Stevie Erickson - really better come to RTG ready for the beating of his lifetime. I don't for-see myself falling flat on my face to a muscle brained freak-show. He's going to remember the name 'Alex Hudson' after the event, because I'm going to show him why I'm the prodigy! You better believe that!"

-We join Leigh Dominguez and John Iley this week, only Leigh doesn't seem as happy as she usually would be. We join the couple from their home in Toronto, they're sitting on a sofa with a bit of distance between them, but things are feeling a little uncomfortable. Leigh had something to say though.

"You know," She started "I thought when I came to PWG that I could leave my past behind me. I haven't even discussed most of my pre-dating past with John. This whole 'thing' with Alex Hudson, and what his deal is with me, is simple. I dated him, okay? When he was in Massachusetts, doing promotional work to get his name out… we dated."

Leigh was quiet for a moment, but it was just to collect her thoughts. All this time, Iley remained absolutely silent looking at Leigh from his side of the sofa, though he doesn't look angry. She put her head down, looking at her lap as she continued to talk.

"I never thought I'd see him again after we broke up. In fact, I was hoping not to. He's incredibly mouthy, and unfortunately, it's how he really is. I just wished that he would have stayed away, but there's no sense in wishing for something inevitable. All I have to say, is he'd better keep his mouth off of me, or he'll pay for it…"

John leaned over and put a comforting arm over Leigh's shoulder. He cuddles her and wispers to her, we can just hear the words "Fine" and "It's OK" Leigh leans over and hugs John for a moment. Looks like he's cool with the fact, after all she dated Hudson before she met Iley!

After the embrace we ask John about his match at Road to Glory.

Iley: "I'm ready, when I found out I was facing Mark Sherrick, I started on my research, watching the last two shows, checking out what Sherrick has done since joining PWG. I know it's not going to be easy, But then again, when is it ever, when a tournment is in swing and the Heavyweight Title is the prize for the winner!"

He has a valid point, the PWG Title is what EVERYONE in this federation is going for, what else does Iley have to say.

Iley: "Sherrick is no pushover, he's already put one guy out of this federation and he was relentless against Wreck. There can be no margin for errors in this match, but I'm confident I can beat Sherrick. I just have to make sure I don't get caught in that Tornado DDT of his! But on a personal level, I think Sherrick is full of himself! He has his mind set that he's the wonderful guy that thinks it's his god given right to be PWG Champion. I mean, look at what he did after he made the Top Five rankings! He said it was about time he was recognised for him being one of the 'top talents' in the federation. To me, if he's doing that, and pestering the front office, it proves to me, he's a pompous, stuck up, arrogant get! And I have no time for blokes like him!

"He's like a Chip Masters Lite! Think's he's above everyone else. Sure his entrance is plain, does most of his talking in the ring during matches, but overall, he think's he's 'it'. Jon Collins put it perfectly, if you don't go out and bust your ass, you won't be noticed in this business but he still needs to prove himself to everyone here in PWG.

"But if Sherrick wants some serious competition in this tournment? Well, he's going to get it, he's going to get to wrestle a real wrestler this time around, he WILL get some real competition and I'm confident I can get by him. I've noticed he is generally a man of few words, well I'll teach him two at Road to Glory, those two words will be Geordie... Aggro!"

-PWG Officials are excited to begin the journey to crowning a PWG Heavyweight Champion. 15 men are set for the tournament, and seven matches will take place in the first round at Road To Glory. Also that night, Joshua Frampton will square off with Chip Masters in singles competition. The Vegas oddsmakers are getting ready for what could be the most anticipated indy-wrestling tournament of the entire year. It all happens September 26, 2004 in Chicago Ridge, Illinois!

    PWG Scoops (9/13/04)
-PWG Officials caught up with John Iley, once again in Toronto, but this time at his personal gym and training center. About any ring rust that may plague Iley, he stated, "Yeah I think it was [shaken off]. I didn't think it'd be so easy, but I guess the training I did in here [pats the ring] paid off." Iley also noted that his back was feeling "Perfectly fine, I was stiff for a couple of days but other than that, everything is hunky dory! I'm ready for the next match!" At the time of the interview, however, Iley did not know who his next opponent would be. As for the coming PWG Heavyweight Title Tournament, Iley had the following to say:

"I'm feeling good about it, I'm confident I can become the PWG Champion. Sure, I didn't make the Top 5 but that's understandable, I'm slowly getting myself back into the right frame of mind and I didn't win, but I didn't lose either at Smashed. And as for Masters being fined, banned from the rankings and all the rest of it? I'm pleased it was done, the gaffers of PWG made the right choices in my book!"

As for his potential here in PWG, Iley claims, "I see it in just about every single member of the roster, there's a lot of 'kids' in the federation who are starting to make names for themselves, either the ones from Jon Collin's school, or the other guys who are doing the shows around the country and going to Japan. I've been there a couple of times and my advice to anyone who's going there is be ready! The Japanese do not take to fools glady. You mess up over there and they will let you know about it!

"I learned that way when I first there as a young 19 year old. And I'm glad I did. Otherwise I probably wouldn't be in this position now! But I'm digressing. I believe everyone here has the potential to make it big, other than myself, Jon and Masters, who have already made big names for themselves. But the three of us are still young, and we can help these guys out and make sure they become as big as we are! Well, Collins for sure since he has the wrestling school. Me, I can help anyone who wants my help, but Masters? He'd probably just look down at them and not bother"

Iley also teased the idea of a possible Jonathan Collins and John Iley team in the future, or perhaps a one-on-one match up. Iley may get his chance in the PWG Heavyweight Title Tournament.

-In the time until his debut in PWG, "The Prodigy" Alex Hudson has been doing some work out in Minnesota, for MPW. He and manager, "Princess" Candace Ford anxiously await their debut in the company, and are taking time to examine the PWG talent, by watching videos of the past 2 PWG events. "Legends Are Born" and "Smashed Into Pieces".

Alex had this to say: "You see, I'm not coming here to prove anything. I don't really have much that needs to be proven! When you look at what I've done, and what I continue to do, it's obvious where I'm going to end up in PWG. AT THE TOP."

Candace Ford's thoughts: "Alex has something a lot of these other guys can only dream of. And that's talent. I plan on taking him as far as he can possibly go here in PWG, because I believe he deserves it. Now that's not my biased talking, either."

Alex also went on to say: "I want to just get one PWG contender's attention. He thinks he's that good? John Iley. You have something I'm all too familiar with. It's name? Leigh Dominguez. Hey Leigh, baby, guess what? I'm back! Haha. I'll see you soon, cupcake!"

What did this mean? Does Alex know Leigh Dominguez? We'll have to keep an eye on this situation!

-In the weeks until their debut, Julian Cross and Kade have vowed to get more 'in touch' with, and scout their competition in the PWG tag team division. Being out in San Francisco, California at a training facility undisclosed to the Pro Wrestling Glory audience, Kade and Julian are aiming to further sharpen their tag team skills. Drena Fury, the manager of "The Sainthood", took time to send in a small statement on behalf of her clients.

"Julian and Kade are ready for anything coming into Pro Wrestling Glory. They come here, looking for competition, and it doesn't matter what anyone thinks. They have what it takes. We're here to prove they can stand up to anyone, anytime, and considering this is a one way trip to not only wrestling superiority, but glory. That's all Julian searches for, glory, and respect. Kade on the other hand, well, enjoys the physical interaction. He's just out to get his hands on people. To put it plainly, whether for glory, or other - The Sainthood is looking to make an impact. Starting, soon."

-We catch up with Too Hood this week, as they're in the midst of their extended 'vacation' from Smashed Into Pieces. They're still looking awfully cocky as they lounge on a beach at some unnamed location, but it doesn't look all fun and games.

"You see, we may be taking some time to relax, but don't think we've forgotten where we stand," Mac Diaz stated. "We still know, our goals in PWG is to become tag team champions. The Vipers said lightning won't strike twice? Well lucky for us, we're not dealin' with thunderstorms. We're dealing with some chump assed, cocky without purpose has beens."

"We know what we're doin'." Adrian Lauderdale said. "We're undefeated as a team, and I'm undefeated as a contender. That says somethin'. I have the skills to lead my team to whatever we want, and those titles? Are as good as ours."

"People need to realize one valuable thing. Too Hood is for real." Lena D. went on to say. "Anyone who doesn't believe that, is going to end up just like The Vipers, and Rebellious Youth. On the losing end of Too Hood's hot streak. Unfortunately for them, it's more than just a streak, though, it's a way of life...and a way of doing business."

"Just because we're taking some time to ourselves now doesn't mean anything." Mac continued. "Next week? We'll be right back into training, and we'll be ready for whatever other wenches step in our way...whether it be the Vipers again, Rebellious Youth, those new fools over in The Sainthood, who cares?! We've got it... we're Too Hood. Learn to deal..."

-Anxious to get his preparations for the PWG Heavyweight Title tournament underway, Sherrick has been pestering PWG headquarters for information on a daily basis, and the front office is delighting in not having any information for him other than that he's entered into the tournament. During one call, he promised to make another example out of his first round opponent, and hopes to actually face some serious competition once he advances farther into the tournament.

-The newest (R)Evolution Dojo graduates, Jason McNeill and Chris Jameson, were a little irked to find out that their fellow graduates would be recieving matches at Road To Glory and they seem to be getting left off the card. The two actually won their first match as a team earlier this weekend after a flurry of exciting double team moves. Jason McNeill was a man of few words after the win.

"We proved ourselves tonight. Simple as that."

McNeill and Jameson have stated that they'll pull off a PWG upset the first chance they get.

-James Halford, following in the footsteps of Jon Collins, announced today that he would be opening his own training facility, the White Phoenix School of Professional Wrestling, designed to train potential wrestlers ages 18-35, and possibly feed them here to Pro Wrestling Glory. We called Halford to confirm this news and get comments regarding PWG events.

"It's a good opportunity for me to sharpen my own skills between shows and help bring new people into the business. I think I'll be able to bring people who don't think I know what I'm doing by my resume, training the Ashton brothers of New Era Wrestling, and keep them in by my deep knowledge of the sport."

When presented with a comment from Jonathan Collins, who is touring in Japan with Joshua Frampton, Halford had this to say:

"Jon's got a lot on his plate right now, but he doesn't need to be calling me out. He knows I've beaten him more than a few times, and that age is nothing. No offense to Jon, but he should try not to be sidetracked if we face each other again...because I really want a challenge this time."

-Jonathan Collins wrapped up his tour of Japan this weekend, and came home with a few victories, and a few more good memories. After reading last week's scoops, he was less than impressed with a few people.

"This business doesn't owe anybody anything. Guys like Mark Sherrick better realize that soon. If you don't bust your ass to get your notice, you don't get ranked. It's that simple. Don't take out your frustrations on the PWG staff because you're not meeting your potential."

-Joshua Frampton also wrapped up his tour on a high note, teaming with Collins for a victory in the tag team ranks. Frampton came right back home and immediately started training for the matches at Road To Glory. Frampton is determined to prove that his first victory over Chip Masters was no fluke, and he plans on doing that by delivering a harder hitting technical attack.

-While fellow graduate Joshua Frampton went to Japan over the past few weeks, Brandon Williams got his first taste of international action by crossing the other ocean and working dates for FWA in England. After several impressive performances, it was rumored that they'd like to make him a regular when they can fly him in. When he was asked about the possibility that he could face a classmate or his own teacher in the tournament, all he said was "Whatever happens, happens."

-PWG Officials are ecstatic to announce that the tournament brackets for the PWG Heavyweight Title Tournament are complete. One wrestler will receive a bye into the second round, due to the PWG Roster rounding itself out at 15 active competitors. To view the brackets, click here. All of the first round matches will take place at Road To Glory, as well as the non-tournament Frampton/Masters battle, with the rest of the tournament finishing in October at Rise of a Champion.

    PWG Scoops (9/6/04)
-In an effort to gain some exposure prior to their PWG debut, the team of Chris Jameson and Jason McNeill wrestled their first show outside of the shows their training classes have put on, competing in a IWA: MS show over the weekend. Although coming out of the match with a loss, both men were said to look relatively crisp as a team. One fan wondered if they'd been training as a team their entire training time. The team known as Iconoclasm will be working a few more shows on the west coast. McNeill and Jameson have yet to name opponents they're itching to face, but Jameson only said the following.

"Yeah, we need some more seasoning, but by the time the show comes around, we'll be able to keep pace with any team in PWG. Our learning curve is good."

-Upon receiving word that he'd cracked the top 5 rankings, landing at the #4 spot, Sherrick contacted PWG headquarters, sarcastically thanking the crew there for finally recognizing that he is one of the top tier talents in Pro Wrestling Glory. He also stated that he feels the crowd is finally ready to hear what he has to say in person, rather than just letting his initial actions do his speaking for him. He feels that he's shown enough of his in ring talent, and he wants to feel free to speak out whenever he has the opportunity. He's looking forward to the title tournament, stating that he's confident he will advance to the finals and become the first PWG Champion.

-Joshua Frampton's second tour of Japan has been said to have him looking a bit overwhelmed...at least for the first weekend. On the second weekend, in a match teaming with Jonathan Collins, he was said to look more at home. Frampton has learned a few new submissions, and has been said to add more suplexes and stretches to his arsenal. This is not surprising that he focuses on variations of one particular move, as his trainer has spent the better part of his career focusing on DDT variations. Frampton said nothing about his first round match for the World Title, but he did smile when told he would be facing Chip Masters at the end of the night.

"Win or lose in the first round, at least I got what's most important...and let's just say that I'll be going out of my way to make sure I don't lose twice that night."

Frampton also issued another notice that he'd force Masters to uphold the Pillars of Glory by any means necessary.

-Earlier this week, PWG officials caught up with The Vipers. They had this to say:

Payne: "Too Hood, you beat us. Congrats, but lightning won't strike twice. You may have tried to injure Bane, but you will never keep us down."

Bane: "Yea, and those tag titles will be ours. If you do win them by some miracle, you will have the greatest feeling of your life. We know. We tasted gold many times, and nothing is sweeter than tag team gold. It means you have great teamwork and great chemistry. But you two will never taste gold, because we are you're road block on the road to glory."

Payne: "Chip Masters, we never met before, and I'm sure you don't need us, but we don't mind with your way of doing things. We don't like shaking hands either, but we do it, or else we may never get any title shot. There are a lot of people that hate you, so if you ever need help or backup or something like that, we'll be here."

Bane: "Mr. Collins, we heard a rumor that you want 16 wrestlers for the PWG title tourney, so if you need an extra one or two people, we don't mind working a few singles matches."

Owner Corey Collins could not be reached immediately for a response.

-Jonathan Collins had a relatively quiet week in Japan, using the time to groom his student Joshua Frampton, but he was more than happy to put over some up and coming talent. Mostly, the trip was to give his students more exposure, which he feels they've recieved.

"It's not about me. Would I love to be the champion here, or over in PWG? Totally. That's why you enter this business...but I'm getting up there now. I'm twenty-seven, and even though that's not old, I feel like the old man in these parts. If it's Joshua's time, Brandon's time, or my new kids Jason McNeill's or Chris Jameson's, I'm gonna support them fully. I wouldn't put my stamp of approval on them if I didn't."

Collins has said that he's taken in two athletes in particular he DIDN'T train though.

"Skylark and Fenix...those two are incredible. They remind me of my brother and I, going balls out for the crowd's delight." he added with a chuckle. "Just please...let me get my bearings back before you put me in the ring with them. I want to wrestle an old fogey like Halford first...no disrespect to James, though. He's a great athlete I've had the pleasure of wrestling a handful of times." he said.

    -Managing to evade from the limelight of news scoops for a few weeks now, EastCoastIndiesSource.com FINALLY managed to catch up with Bobby Skylark at a press conference post-'Smashed Into Pieces', and get his comments on what has been a spectacular showing at Smashed Into Pieces;

"I thought it was a great match... I went in, with a clear head, wanting to defeat the man who all along had one too many disrespectful words to say to me... and I won. It's as simple as that. My clear-mindedness really paid off in the end, man. It's just a shame Troy is the coward he is and had to go against the Pillars of Glory in the end. A real shame. Some day, he'll get his, for sure."

On the subject of what he has in store for the PWG Championship itself, Skylark was a man of few words.

"I don't know... I'll do my best, for sure. I can give no more, and no less. It is what everyone has seen from me, thus far. If it is my time? Then so be it. I think I am more than ready."

-Owner Corey Collins is said to be very pleased with the recent influx of singles talent to Pro Wrestling Glory. He still is deadset on aquiring two more singles names to add to the would-be 16 person Heavyweight Title Tournament, and has sent scouts around the United States to bring in two of the finest performers in the US to close out the brackets. Collins has also stated that, once 16 people are involved, the matches will be decided completely randomly. That means we could see heated rivalries like Bobby Skylark and Troy Fenix battle once again in round one, or trainer and trainee Jonathan Collins and Brandon Williams forced into battle. The implications are sure to add even more excitement to this already hot situation.

    PWG Scoops (8/30/04)
-PWG Officials, and Owner Corey Collins, came out of Smashed Into Pieces with mixed feelings. On the whole, they were very pleased with the card. The tag team match was praised heavily by everyone watching backstage, as well as the efforts of Bobby Skylark and Troy Fenix. Shawn Braxton opened up some eyes, showing that he can hang with Joshua Frampton. Chip Masters also opened some eyes, but for all of the wrong reasons. "His actions against John Iley were bad enough," said Corey Collins, "but the way he attacked Jonathan Collins shows what kind of man he is." Corey Collins was said to be furious backstage, but not just because it was his family member who was attacked. "It could have been The Vipers, it could have been Sherrick, it could have been Wreck - the fact remains that Chip Masters disrespected Pro Wrestling Glory, myself, the Heavyweight Title, and the fans in attendance." The details are not being disclosed, but Masters is said to be receiving a hefty fine for his actions.

-The video release for Smashed Into Pieces is due this week, and officials are very excited about their second event being released.

-PWG Officials also announced that they have severed ties with Emo Kid Joe. "While it's not out of the picture for a return," Owner Collins stated, "he didn't bring his all to the table, and was not committed to PWG." We wish him the best in his future endeavors.

-An official main event has been signed for Road to Glory. It will be "The American Champion" Chip Masters battling Joshua "The Purist" Frampton one-on-one. These two men will also be competing in singles matches in the first round of the PWG Heavyweight Title Tournament that night.

-The Top 5 Rankings have been stirred up, and the new list will be out this week.

-Dune has not been seen or heard from since his match at Smashed Into Pieces where overwhelming odds caused the well-known brawler to buckle under the pressure in the ring. We are not sure about his present condition, mentally or physically, but we will keep you posted as soon as we hear something.

-PWG Officials caught up with John Iley and his main squeeze, Leigh Dominguez, in his Toronto night club, The Ritz. Iley had the following to say:

"Well I think I'd better address my back first. It's fine, the doctor's checked me out and there was nothing wrong, just a little brusing which is healing very nicely indeed."

His thoughts on his first match back:

"I hadn't felt that way since the night I had my very first match, just over 10 years ago back in Gateshead. But this time around, I was ready. I was prepared for the match. And the reaction I got from the fans, before, during and after the match was just great! I loved it"

       On Chip Masters:

"I had respect for him before the match, but now? Not anymore. Sure, he took advantage of my previous back injury but for him to act the way he did later on in the evening with Jon Collins, sneaking up on him like that? He disrepected the rules and codes of this federation. And I have no time for people like that!"

       On Jonathan Collins:

"I must admit I haven't spoken to him in some time, we basically drifted apart. But I'm pleased to see he's back in competition and has helped some of the talent here in PWG."

Leigh also had this to add:

"I'm personally very excited for him to be back into wrestling. But I think that the actions of Chip Masters were completely...and utterly... uncalled for. What type of man does that? He's obviously feeling a tad inadequate to John. What happened to the spirit of competition? What happened, to honor? That's what Pro Wrestling Glory is about, isn't it? John is just fine, and I'm telling you, I feel that John could best Masters on any day of the week, pure wrestling or a brawl. It doesn't matter. But then again, that's just my opinion."

And finally, on entering the PWG Heavyweight Title Tournament:

"It'd be great to be the first man to win the PWG Title. It would be an honour for me, to hold that title. As I've said before, I'm here in PWG because this federation is everything I love about this sport. And after the reaction I got from the fans at Smashed Into Peices, I know they'd like the idea of someone like me holding that title."

-As expected, this week we find ourselves catching up with Too Hood. Adrian and Mac are sitting poolside, both men in board shorts and sunglasses, as Lena D. was swimming in the pool. Apparently after everything, our 'favorite' tag team is back on the same page. Mac tipped up his glass of beer as he smirked at the camera that was just waiting to hear from what these arrogant upstarts had to say.

"You know that phrase, hate to say I told you so?" Mac inquired, as Adrian chuckled to himself. "Well, unlike that phrase, we don't hate to say it, but WE told you so. We told you we were the franchise, and did anyone believe us? No."

"That's what you get." Adrian started, "I mean, you get punked. We said we weren't messin' around and we were gonna get crap done. We did. It's that easy."

"Adrian walked out of Smashed Into Pieces undefeated, one singles match and one tag team match under his belt. I walked out of my debut, with the pinfall with the most badassed creation in PWG. The Mac Attack. 1.2.3, that bitch Bane, wait, is that his name?" Mac chuckled, "Went down! Life is good in the hood." He proudly added.

"There's nothin', I'm telling you, that's going to stop Too Hood. We know what we want, and that, is the PWG tag team titles. We're gonna get it, there's NOTHIN' that is going to stop us! Get used to seein' "Too Hood" in gold, because those titles? They are as good as ours!"

-Brandon Williams was very excited about being at the show last week. He along with Aimee are happy to finally be in an official company. Brandon was very happy that the first time he was on the show was the debut of his teacher Jonathan Collins. Both Aimee and him are excited about making their debut and getting into some action. He's very angry about what happened last week to Jonathan, and he plans on watching over his teacher, since he's done so much for him, and Aimee as well.

-After signing his PWG contract and making an appearance at Smashed Into Pieces, Jonathan Collins immediately flew out to Japan for a two week tour with All Japan Pro Wrestling. The respected 27-year old veteran has said he will be coming back with more added to his arsenal not just aerial-wise, but technical-wise as well.

"People forget that I'm not that bad of a technical wrestler," he said. "Maybe I'll surprise some people when I get back," he laughed.

-Joshua Frampton was irate over Chip Masters' lack of respect towards his trainer Jonathan Collins at Smashed Into Pieces. In fact, Joshua is daring Masters to confront him at Road To Glory. "Masters can't go one night without breaking one of the Pillars Of Glory. If I have to put my own right to adhere to them on the line, I'll make sure he never breaks another one again." he added. In an unsurprising note, Frampton will be accompanying Jonathan Collins on the All Japan tour.

Upon the announcement of Jonathan Collins and Joshua Frampton heading to Japan, "White Phoenix" James Halford was called to probe interest. Halford reportedly said no, and then told us here at PWG why.

"There's two reasons, really. I mean, I love Japan, it's a great country, great wrestlers, but I just got back to the USA after three months in Europe, and I'm not ready to tour so soon. Another reason is the fact that I think there's still some bad blood between Jon and myself, something I don't want to bring up until I have to."

When asked about the PWG Heavyweight Title, Halford was blunt and to the point; "I really don't know who all is going to be in that tournament, and I'm flattered that people are already predicting me to win. I don't know if it'll come down to me and Jon, or me and Iley, Frampton, or any of the other great athletes in PWG, but I intend to make it to the finals."

-PWG Officials are proud to announce the signing of "The Prodigy" Alex Hudson and his valet, "Princess" Candace Ford (above) to the Pro Wrestling Glory family.

-For more news and updates, as well as the Smashed Into Pieces video release and an all new Top 5, check back with this site during the week!

    PWG Scoops (8/9/04)
-This week we caught up with England's entry to PWG, John Iley. He's currently getting himself in training in his home of Toronto for his first match in over 18 months. Has the ring rust been shook off? "Not quite, but almost" replied Iley.

"But I'm confident I'll be ready for Smashed Into Pieces. The rehab I had on my back was finished with some time ago so there's no problems there. I do try to have matches at a gym I own here in Toronto just to keep myself focused. And I'm sure that'll be the case in a few weeks time. I'll be ready to face whomever at Smashed Into Pieces."

We asked Iley, has his upbringing in 'traditional wrestling' had him encounter a Gauntlet match before?

"Not really, I can count on one hand how many gauntlet matches I've been in. But regardless, I'll be ready for either Dune or Kid Joe."

Now we asked John about his time he teamed with another member of the gauntlet match, Chip Masters and his thoughts on possibly facing him in this match,

"Well, he and I were tag team partners for one match, in which I got the pin on the man who was World Champion. But even though we worked together well in that match, Chip did have a few bad words to say about me in the weeks leading upto our match. And yes, I still have some resentment towards the comments made. With luck, I'll face Chip in the match, and not only teach him what traditional wrestling is all about, but we'll no doubt give the fans a pure wrestling match."

What about Dune and Emo Kid Joe, what are his thoughts on the other two men in the gauntlet?

"Well, I think Dune is at a disadvantage in this match, he was at Legends in a four way match and didn't do too well there. And it's not like I haven't faced a man who's deranged in the past. Only this guy is a little more deranged and not just some whacko 'paranoid' skitsophrenic. But unpredictability is something you have to expect, which is what you get with Joe. The guys wins a match and cries his eyes out? I mean come on! This kid needs help, he has issues and if he cries like a bairn (which is Geordie for child we're told) what's he going to be like when he's beaten in the gauntlet match? I think that the Crest Hill Fire Department better be on hand with a pump to get rid of the tears!"

Next we asked John about his relationship with Leigh Dominguez and how they met. When this was asked, John's face broke into a love sick smile.

"Leigh's a very special woman. We met in one of the clubs I own, The Ritz here in Toronro, she came in one night with a few women and I got chatting to them, and Leigh just seemed to stand out. She made a few more visits to the club and then one day I discovered she was in this business when she came up with some guys from an indie fed based in Boston (which is where Leigh is from). They were up for a card and Leigh worked as manager to one of the guys. When I discovered this I told Leigh I used to wrestle myself and that was it. We just instantly clicked and discovered we had a lot more in common. She then left the fed and moved here with me and we've been an item ever since. She's great and helped me out a lot in getting ready for this since it was officially announced that I was in PWG. And I'm more than happy to have her with me at ringside"

And we also asked what his plans for the future were.

"Simple, to help PWG become a top federation, introduce the English style properly to the fans here in the states, and hopefully, get Corey Collins to let me have a few English style matches as well"

       English Style Matches?

"When I started out in wrestling, the rules were a 30 minute match, divided into five 6 minute rounds, and it was 2 falls, 2 submissions or a countout to decide the winner. It was starting to be phased out shortly after I started and we eventually changed to the 1 fall to a finish which is what people are now accustomed too these days. But PWG is all about tradition, and to me, those old style matches, are tradition to me!"

Hmmm, interesting, let's see what happens down the line!

-What would a session of "scoops" be, without the presence of Too Hood? Well probably enjoyable, but they wouldn't allow something like that. Adrian, Mac, and Lena D. sent in a pre-recorded message to the PWG offices this past weekend, from the Bronx. They were standing outside of Yankees Stadium for this.

"Well, we could be enjoying our baseball game, but decided to give ya'll a call up," Lena D. said, before chuckling. "It's ironic though, one week Too Hood is in one-on-one tag team action, the next, there's an elimination?"

"That's just because they know, one on one, we're untouchable." Adrian said. "Did we drive those boys outta the company?" Adrian and Mac both laughed, and high fived. "Damn straight we did!"

"Nobody wants to face us, and the fact Pro Wrestling Glory just force fed these two other chump teams down our throat, we don't care." Mac said with a smirk. "They're going to be in for a rude awakening, and it seems that Adrian and I will be FORCED to go into single's action, if these two teams get scared and run away."

"Nobody can match us, we know it. They know it. It's sad they're gunna delusion themselves into thinking they have a chance." Adrian smirked, "We're Too Hood, we don't fear ANYTHING... especially our 'opponents' or lack there of."

-PWG recently caught up with Troy Fenix, before he went back to Japan for another brief tour. He had only the following to say before leaving: "At Smashed Into Pieces, Troy Fenix and Bobby Skylark have their epic encounter. The one-on-one match everyone's been waiting for. Right now though, I'm looking right past Bobby. I'm looking right into the Road to Glory. I'm looking right at the PWG Heavyweight Title. I'm putting my bid in now, and I'm promising victory for myself. I'm promising that the first ever PWG Heavyweight Champion will NOT be Bobby Skylark. And I'm promising that it WILL be Troy Fenix."

-While wrestling in a six-man tag match for Baltimore City Cruiserweight Wrestling, Bobby Skylark unfortunately wrenched his foot in the bottom rope. While not as serious as first speculated, Skylark still took the normal precautions and sought out medical attention for it. Apparently, it was just a light sprain and, and in a week or so, it should be all cleared up.

While most likely holding an ice pack on his sore foot at his Baltimore apartment, Bobby Skylark e-mailed PWG's correspondents with a piece of information about his match. Answering some of our questions, while most of it was just background information for a piece in the 'Independent Wrestler' (nation-wide indy scene magazine), this is a brief relay of what he had to say.

"Everyone knows the story between Troy and myself... as well as Chip Masters... so why get redundant about any of it? Smashed Into Pieces is the place it's going to happen with Troy, and I can't wait until it does. Chip? I don't even know if he's accepted my little challenge, so we'll have to just wait and see. But the bottom line for me right now, as far as Smashed Into Pieces goes, is that Troy doesn't like me, and I don't like him... and we'll settle it at the big event. End of story."

If there's one thing that can be said about the upcoming main event, is that it's going to be an ocean of emotion for both competitors. Stay tuned, and keep your eyes peeled for more information regarding the impending match with Chip Masters.

-When informed of his match, Joshua Frampton decided to go into extra training. Frampton has decided that he's going to use this match to display his technical skills, vowing to "stretch that Braxton guy like a pretzel". In other Frampton related news, Hilary Bennett has reported to PWG officials that she's acquired over 1,000 signatures on an online petition of fans wanting to see her boyfriend, Jonathan Collins, in PWG.

-PWG Officials are gearing up for the big second show, Smashed Into Pieces. The August 23 show, from Skate West in Cresthill, Illinois, is sure to wow the crowd just like Legends Are Born did. There are five big matches signed for the show, and officials are expecting the Double Elimination and Gauntlet matches to stand out. Bobby Skylark and Troy Fenix's encounter is also being looked at as a PWG classic in the makings. Mark Sherrick and Wreck have been quiet as of late, but officials are hoping that these two turn up the heat in their match-up at Smashed. Shawn Braxton is definitely up for a challenge when he battles Joshua Frampton, but many in the company feel that Frampton isn't concentrating as he should be. Also at the big event, Owner Corey Collins will unveil the PWG Heavyweight Title.

August is a big month for Pro Wrestling Glory, and to stay up to date on all of the news and happenings, check back with this website often!

    PWG Scoops (8/2/04)
-This week, we catch up with Too Hood - at their 'training facilities' in the Bronx. ( A regular underground gym ) Seeing as how even though they had trained together individually, they never had any offical training as a tag team. Despite their cockiness, they've began to buckle down and train up for Smashed Into Pieces. But despite being such a new tag team - they still had the urge to contact the PWG offices, instigating against their opponents, and the tag division of the company.

"It's pretty ironic," Adrian said. "That the newest tag team in the division - and the company, are just so damn good. We're like, glue man, we stick our snap - and work it like we've been taggin' our entire lives. I pity not only those two punks we got at SIP, but the other jokes of tag teams in PWG. It's crazy."

"Agreed," Mac continued. "It's a bit insane. Looking at the competition, I know personally that Lena could walk all over 'em, and not think twice." Mac chuckled. "But honestly. The road to Smashed into Pieces is just - winding down. And come the day, Too Hood is going to whip some ass, take some names, and move one step closer to the tag team titles... enough, said."

-There are some rumors backstage about the team known as Rebellious Youth discussing with the office about the future of the team in PWG. Some members of the PWG regular crew stated that they are demanding more exposure and a chance at the tag belts.

"That's totally false", said Jeff Kewell. "First of all, with 4 teams I do believe PWG isn't thinking about leaving anyone out of title scene so far. Second, we had a nice match at Legends Are Born and will have another match at Smashed Into Pieces. What kind of exposure would we want?"

Harry Kewell also said words of his own. "Sure the Tag Division is so far just getting its space. I believe all the teams are capable of giving the fans a great show."

-Mark Sherrick, claiming he was busy, called PWG headquarters and left a message for everyone, stating the following:

"I can't wait for Smashed Into Pieces...another match, another person who'll probably end up with a broken neck. This one has an appropriate name, too...Wreck. When I get through with him, the name will definately fit the twisted mass of human flesh that will lay at my feet.

"Then, there's this new matter between myself and Dune. He claims we were in the same hospital..which was true...he was SENT THERE because he is a nut, and I was there recouperating from Post Concussion Syndrome...which is a legitimate medical condition. People like him have been making me sick for years...I keep trying to leave certain parts of my past, IN the past...and people think its funny to bring them back up. All I will say is this...Bryan Summers didn't bring anything about my past up...and look what happend to him. Wreck is probably thanking God right now he has no idea what I'm talking about...and Dune....well, he's just an idiot who doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut.

"Smashed into Pieces....it's going to be fun for one person..and one person only.....ME. It's time I received my rightful spot in the top 5 competitors here...and beyond that, its time that the higherups around here realize that a tournament is not necessary...just give me the belt now, and call it a day."

-When approached about his upcoming gauntlet match at Smashed into Pieces, Dune stated he will prove his point to Dr. Mullin, and to the others that have wronged him. Dune went on to say that he always excels when the odds are stacked against him. He said that some thought that he would never leave the mental facility he was admitted into, especially the people that put him there.

Dune was promptly asked if he knew who was responsible for his admittance. Dune said he has a good idea of who all are responsible, and they are all in Pro Wrestling Glory. When questioned about who he thinks is responsible, Dune said he didn't want to blow the element of surprise he has on them.

-Joshua Frampton didn't seem slighted at all by the announcement of his match against Shawn Braxton. In fact, he seemed quite pleased. "With all due respect to Braxton, I'm going to make an example out of him. I'll stretch the guy from here to Chicago, and back. I'm out to prove that I'm the finest technical wrestler in the world, and this is my chance." he said. He also noted that Hilary Bennett would NOT be in his corner for this matchup, as she continues to lobby for Jonathan Collins to arrive in PWG.

-John Iley is the newest member of the Pro Wrestling Glory family, but as of yet does not have a match for Smashed Into Pieces. PWG officials are hoping that another spot on the Roster will be filled during the week, otherwise Iley will be placed into some sort of three way dance.

    PWG Scoops (7/26/04)
-As Hilary Bennett still struggles to get Jonathan Collins into PWG, Joshua Frampton dealt with matters of his own. He asked the PWG booking committee to place him in a match against someone in the top five rankings higher than him. When asked why, he issued the following statement.

"I fight every fight like a person is ranked higher than me. This time, it will mean something. I'm out to prove that the PWG ring has no better athlete, no better fighter, and nobody with more honor than Joshua Frampton. If you think you do, by all means, step up. I don't care if it's Adrian Lauderdale, Troy Fenix, or even down to people like Shawn Braxton. I fight every fight like it's the last one. If you think you can, prove me wrong."

When Pro Wrestling Glory officials caught wind of Frampton's remarks, they immediately sprung into action. It was not his mention of Adrian or Troy that raised eyebrows, but the way he mentioned Shawn Braxton. PWG officials feel that Braxton was slighted by Frampton's words, and deemed that "The Beauty" will have a chance to redeem himself at Smashed Into Pieces, when these two athletes collide!

-Mark Sherrick made another appearance at PWG headquarters, and was quoted as saying, "I can't beleive I'm not in the top 5 contenders list! I put in the most dominating performance of all at Legends Are Born...for God's sake, I nearly crippled a guy! It's all about keeping the competition to a minimum around here, and that's got to change. Next up I have Wreck. No matter...after I'm done with him, he'll be lucky if he can continue wrestling. He may be bigger...but I'm better...I know it, and most importantly, he knows it. Bryan Summers knows, too....and before long, everyone here will know that I am better than them. It's just a matter of time..."

-After catching word of their upcoming match at Smashed Into Pieces, Mac Diaz and Adrian Lauderdale had some time to speak openly with PWG officials. The two gentleman had these comments to make:

"It's just the beginning," Diaz stated. "It's gonna start with us taking care of business against Kruel Intent, and then, whoever else steps in our way. These two 'boys' don't really have a chance in hell against us. I don't care who they think they are."

"They're steppin' into a league they've never been before, man." Lauderdale said, "These two kids ain't gonna know what hit 'em at Smashed Into Pieces. Storm and Williams better just come bringin' their A-Game, because you know with Too Hood, it's always straight thug. We ain't takin' any prisoners..."

"We're out to prove a point." Diaz continued, "And we're going to put the exclaimation point on that point, come SIP... you can bet on that."

-The news team managed to catch up with Pro Wrestling Glory's own, Bobby Skylark, after he was seen hitting the scene in Gold's Gym out in the suburban outskirts of Baltimore City. Carrying a gym bag and the smell of perspiration, Bobby gave us a minute a minute to answer a few questions that had been impending since the fall-out of Legends Are Born.

"We here at the WrestlingNewsWire.org were wondering if you had a minute to relay your thoughts on your match at the inaugural PWG event, Legends Are Born?"

Bobby didn't seem to want to talk at first but he quickly changed his mind as he realized he hadn't really had the chance to say anything, and it had been two-weeks or so since he had been seen.

"Yeah sure. First off, I thought it was absolutely great. I commend all of the efforts put into the match by everybody involved, including Troy Fenix. Special congratulations go out to Adrian of course, for withstanding such a beating like he did, and coming back to win it all. Takes a lot of fortitude and skill to do such a thing, and Adrian did it. I congratulate him on a job well done. Secondly, that match was the single best match I have been in since I started wrestling, and it was an honor to up the ante expected. It was totally cool."

"What about your thoughts on Fenix, personally, as well as Chip Masters?"

"Ah yes, Chip and Troy... Troy, the proverbial no-nonsense walking ego, and Chip the proverbial gnat who can't let something as a simple loss, go. All I have to say about Troy is I can't wait to shut his mouth at Smashed Into Pieces, and show him, AGAIN, what having wrestling tenacity is all about. And Chip? Well, if the proverbial whining gnat wants a rematch with me, he can have it. For real. And just to let everyone in the whole world know that a victory from either sides won't be a "fluke", since that's what he's insinuating, I'm challenging him to a best of seven series match, all to be competed in ONE night. Whether he accepts this match or not, is his choice."

PWG officials, especially Owner Corey Collins, were particularly intrigued by Skylark's challenge. Whether Masters accepts or not is yet unknown, as well as how and when these matches would occur.

-When questioned about his motives at the next PWG event, Smashed Into Pieces, Dune stated that he wanted to compete in a gauntlet match. Dune said he wants to show Dr. Mullin how serious he is about regaining his honor, after Dr. Mullin humiliated him in front of a capacity crowd. He added that when he does that at Smashed to Pieces, he will be gunning for one man, and one thing and that is Dr. Mullin, and the utter humiliation of him.

Dune was then asked about his ties to Mark Sherrick as Sherrick had mentioned him last week. Dune responded by telling PWG reporters that Sherrick was in the same institution as him, only Sherrick deserved to be there, and he got to leave early. When asked if he held any resentment towards him for such, Dune said, "you better believe it."

Dune will be getting his wish at Smashed Into Pieces, as he will compete in a three-on-one Gauntlet Challenge Match. Dune's three opponents that evening will be Emo Kid Joe, "Blockbuster" CJ Rowell, and "The American Champion" Chip Masters. Dune arguably owned the Scramble Relay at Legends Are Born, and will surely hope to use that experience in the Gauntlet, which will be a very similar situation.

-PWG Owner Corey Collins has announced that he will unveil the Pro Wrestling Glory Heavyweight Title in a special ceremony August 23 at Smashed Into Pieces. This will be the first glimpse available of the Heavyweight Title, which everyone in the singles division will be gunning for in September and October.

    PWG Scoops (7/19/04)
-Pro Wrestling Glory officials would like to congratulate all of the members of the PWG Family for an amazing first show last week, with Legends Are Born. The turn out was better than expected, and with the great matches that took place that night, it is almost a sure thing that next month's Smashed Into Pieces will attract an even larger audience. Special congratulations go to Adrian Lauderdale, who picked up a win in the big Scramble Relay Match.

-PWG officials caught up with Adrian Lauderdale, and his group, earlier this week. They were still in the midst of celebrating Adrian's huge win at Legends Are Born, and of course, you could very well imagine, Adrian had a lot to boast about.

"You see, I did it! That's what I'm known for! I walk in, do my deal, and come out on top ya heard? Those other fools didn't stand a chance against a REAL legend!"

Adrian went on to explain who the man was with him and Lena D. after the show. Just the mere mention of it, made Adrian smirk.

"Oh, him, yeah, he's my boy. His name is Mac Diaz, and he's the "Real Deal", man. He's here to stay in PWG with yours truly and his woman, we're not only going to rock the singles division, but we're going to OWN the tag team division! We're "Too Hood", man, we're gangster. Anyone has any objections, they can just step on up boy, what!"

-Hilary Bennett recently contacted PWG head Corey Collins about a temporary contract for her boyfriend, Jonathan Collins. Although the reports have Corey reluctant to allow Jonathan into a PWG ring due to a long standing case of sibling rivalry, Hilary has started to try to plea her case to fans over the internet. "Jonathan is one of the best pure wrestlers on the planet. After what Chip Masters did to Joshua Frampton, Jonathan deserves an opportunity to confront Chip and question if the motive was really about Joshua beating him, or if it was about their rivalry."

-When reached for comment about his loss in the Scramble Main Event at Legends are Born to Adrian Lauderdale, Dune had the following to say:

-"I made Dr. Mullin pay for what he did to me over the last year even though he came out on top, however... he seized the opportunity to humiliate me again. While I lay semi-conscious on the mat he came over and shook my limp hand. He did not say sorry, he didn't make eye contact, he forced me into a handshake, something 'I' should have offered. You just don't go over and shake someone's hand when you have helped make their life a living hell for the last year. You can offer, but you don't just shake assuming it's welcome. It was my choice whether or not to uphold the pillars of glory. A real man would have waited until I got up, but he had to reiterate the fact that he knocked me out. He wanted to have another laugh at my expense. Lauderdale, Mullin, whatever he wants to call himself now... he will see who laughs last."

--The morning after Legends Are Born, Mark Sherrick stopped by PWG headquarters, and shared that he was quite pleased with the results of LAB. He claimed that while he did do as he said he would do, in letting his match do his talking for him, that it went better than he could have hoped, and that he hoped that Wreck would be better competition for him next month. He also expressed interest in another of PWG's larger competitors, Dune. Returning to the topic of Wreck, he was quite vocal in his plans to continue his winning ways in the PWG by any means necessary, and also calling attention to his longterm winning record against larger opponents.

-"Wildfire" Bryan Summers was injured in his match with Mark Sherrick at LAB this past week. The injury came when Sherrick delivered a devastating tornado DDT from the apron, all the way to the arena floor. Summers lay motionless on the ground and soon received medical attention from the in-house medical crew before being rushed to a local medical facility. There is no concrete update on Summers' status, and he wishes to keep the situation private, staying out of the public eye. All of us here at Pro Wrestling Glory wish Bryan Summers a speedy and full recovery.

-Many in PWG were caught off guard by the fact that Adrian Lauderdale, who just picked up a monumental singles win, is now devoting his time to the tag team division with Mac Diaz. Lauderdale was definitely pegged as a Heavyweight Title contender, but now has his sites set on tag team gold. Lauderdale and Diaz will get their chance to strike while the iron is hot, when they take on Kruel Intent at Smashed Into Pieces!

-Also going down in tag team action at Smashed Into Pieces will be The Vipers battling Rebellious Youth. Many feel that the Kewells were robbed of a victory when Bane tagged himself in after Harry and Jeff had finished off the opponents in amazing fashion. These two teams will settle the score at Smashed Into Pieces next month.

    PWG Scoops (6/28/04)
-Bobby Skylark wrestled over the weekend in Baltimore, defeating long time road buddy and number one contender for the Baltimore City Cruiserweight Championship, Hans Prince III. The match was said to be very good- with something special to note; Bobby Skylark wrestled a bit of a more aggressive game than usual, and to some, it came across as if he was angry. Some are thinking Skylark has let Troy Fenix's words go to his heart, as Legends Are Born quickly arises as the weeks go by. Skylark was available for a brief interview backstage, where he was found unlacing his black and blue boots after his athletically profound contest with Hans.

"You know, I've got people all over saying Troy Fenix punked me out last week ... If that's the truth, then why am I sitting here, unphased by his egotistical comments, instead of crying in a dark corner somewhere? Yeah, exactly. I came into PWG, with an intent on facing some of the best competition in the world today, nothing more, nothing less. It's not about the fame... it's not about the money... it's about aiming to better myself at all costs, even if it means taking a beating from more experienced wrestlers like Troy... Chip... or even that beast of a man they call Wreck. But now? When I see Troy Fenix shooting his damn mouth on the air, letting loose his predictable banter? It disappoints me. That kind of attitude shouldn't be welcomed to a place that houses the most outstanding professionals in the world... and Troy has made it perfectly clear to me and the rest of the people watching that he is the furthest thing from a professional.

I look forward to beating him at Legends Are Born, and then smashing his damn jaw shut once and for all at Smashed To Pieces. Simple as that, no preservatives or additives needed."

-Mark Sherrick has been out doing more promoting for Legends Are Born and Smashed Into Peices, doing radio interviews running down his respective opponents for both events, and has done a few appearances at a few indy shows in the area surrounding the debut event, goading the crowd to check out the real talent in PWG. He was even run out of the building once, by a local legend who was booked that night as a suprise entrant in a battle royale. He has also been spotted at a local gym, working out with several wrestlers from his past stints in national feds, and looking quite impressive. He has been approached for comment by PWG officials and a wrestling radio show, each time stating that he's waiting until the start of the fed, and will let his introduction and first match be his statement.

-Match changes are all the rage for Legends Are Born. Emo Kid Joe is out, and it is now back to Wreck and CJ Rowell in a one-on-one contest. Joe will now face newcomer Shawn "The Beauty" Braxton (pictured above) in a one on one contest.

-Adding to the mix in the tag team world, newly signed tag team Kruel Intent (pictured right) will now take on The Vipers and Rebellious Youth in a three way, elimination tag team bout.

-The main event of Legends Are Born has also faced a slight change. It will still feature Bobby Skylark, Troy Fenix, Dune, and Adrian Lauderdale battling it out, but it will now be wrestled under Scramble Relay rules. To recap, the rules are as follows: the match is one fall to a finish. Two participants start the match, and after five minutes, an inactive participant comes into the match. To signify who is being replaced in the match, the wrestler who is being taken out must be physically removed from the ring by the incoming wrestler. The match will always be one-on-one, and one participant must be switched every five minutes.

-Super Japan Pro Wrestling held a supercard titled Zenmen Sensou (Total War) on June 26th, featuring a match between "Skyhigh" Bobby Skylark and "The American Champion" Chip Masters. We are still waiting for the results to reach us here at PWG offices.

-In other SJPW/PWG news, a match has been signed for Legends Are Born on July 13. Two members of Team Tiger, MAMMOTH Kagawa and Noboru "Raging Bull" Nishida will face The Crush Crew, Tsutomu Kobayashi and Botan Nakatoni. This is not only sure to be a classic tag team battle, but also a grudge match between the two factions. The Crush Crew are a part of the Disciples of Despair, who have been feuding with Team Tiger recently. Things will come to a head on Pro Wrestling Glory turf, and it will surely be a match for the ages!

    PWG Scoops (6/21/04)
-President and Owner of Pro Wrestling Glory, Corey Collins, has scheduled a press conference for Wednesday, June 23. He has not divulged what exactly the details of the press conference are, but there is expected to be big news coming out of it.

-The verbal battle between Troy Fenix and Bobby Skylark continues this week. Fenix had the following to say during a phone call to PWG offices earlier in the week: "It's funny that he clearly knows nothing about me. I started when I was 16, I'm 22. So unless he checked it out six years ago, it'd be hard to catch a name that wasn't on the card because said name was off working for bigger and better places. Next time, he should get his facts straight. Now he has to remove his foot from his mouth. Don't worry Bobby, you'll get your taste of foot back...I'll fill the void with my own foot." He went on to say, "At least I didn't have to resort to yardtarding, or get my start in that cestpool Maryland. When was the last time Bobby was in Japan? He wasn't, because it takes skill, talent, and dedication to get to Japan. He very obviously, has none of those traits. I'll see you at Legends Are Born."

-Joshua Frampton recently finished a tour of Japan, working for the Michinoku Pro promotion. Upon his return to the States he had the following to say regarding Adrian Lauderdale: "If Lauderdale wants to face me, go for it. I don't back down." After finding out that he was scheduled to face one of the last major rivals of his trainer, he promised that he wouldn't just make a big impact at Legends Are Born, he promised that before his PWG run was over, he'd produce Jonathan Collins in the flesh. "I hope Chip's heart can take that one."

-PWG officials made a house call this week, travelling to Woburn, Massachusetts for an interview with Bryan Summers. Summers had this to say: "Soon the PWG doors will be open and people will flood in to catch some great wrestling action. To be honest, I know that they won't be disappointed. However, Sherrick might be after our debut bouts."

-Chip Masters is anxiously anticipating his confrontation in Japan against the rookie, Bobbie Skylark. Chip has garnered incredible success in the land of the rising sun, having won the Triple Crown, competed and defeated some of the greatest champions in a slew of federations throughout the country, and being looked up to as an icon to many millions of wrestling fans. This overwhelming confidence could well spell the fate of the American Champion, as he appears to be looking over the young man from Maryland. In an interview this past week, Masters stated "He may be able to fly around the ring, performing fancy, dazzling moves, but he's proven nothing to me or anybody else, and the fact is, he's gonna get trounced, plain and simple. He'll be getting a signed and certified Masters Degree, courtesy of Your American Champion!!" That remains to be seen.

-PWG recently received a call from Australia, where C.J. Rowell is currently leaving and heading to Mexico for a two week tour. While the call wasn't exactly a long one, Rowell was quoted as saying he is "ready and willing to cut Wreck down to size and school him." When he was asked about the scoop from last week about a possible tag team coming to PWG that has an affiliation in the past with him, he declined comment.

-Last week, we were left with some strong words from Adrian Lauderdale, about an impending surprise. What could he have meant? This week we couldn't find the "Original Gangster" for comment, but through the power of voicemail, Lena D. gave us a little heads up. This is what the message said: "Hey PWG, this is Lena D. calling to touch base with ya'll. Sorry we couldn't catch up with you guys this week, but rather than leaving you hanging as to what Adrian was talking about, I'm calling to give you all a little 4-1-1." That's when she started laughing. "You really thought I'd out Adrian's plan did ya? You're trippin'! You're gonna have to wait like everyone else, to find out what the Original Gangsta and his boo have in store. Just get ready for some real impact playas..." With that, she hung up. Is that fair? Keep tuned in for more, as this develops.

-One more match has been signed to the Legends Are Born card. It will feature The Vipers taking on PWG's newest tag team, Rebellious Youth (pictured above), Harry and Jeff Kewell.

-PWG officials would also like to welcome the signing of yet another singles star, Emo Kid Joe (left). Joe is yet matchless for Legends Are Born, but will receive an opponent when a new spot on the Roster is filled.

-In a strange twist of events, it appears that Wreck has indeed accepted Mark Sherrick's open contract, and will battle him one-on-one at Smashed Into Pieces.

-PWG officials took note of the interaction between Mark Sherrick and Troy Fenix this week. Troy Fenix had claimed that he would accept Sherrick's open contract challenge, but that he was already booked against Bobby Skylark. While the singles contest between Fenix and Skylark will remain a singles contest, PWG officials are said to be considering a three way dance between those men to take place at PWG's yet un-named third event.

    PWG Scoops (6/14/04)

-This week started off as a pretty big one for Pro Wrestling Glory. Right off the bat, we were contacted by the head of Super Japan Pro Wrestling (SJPW). SJPW will be running a supershow titled Zenmen Sensou (Total War) on June 26. How does this apply to PWG in any way at all? Well, the official who contacted PWG asked of us a simple request - to pick two superstars from PWG to compete against one another at the event. After a careful week of deliberation it was decided that the two athletes facing off in Japan would be "The American Champion" Chip Masters and "Skyhigh" Bobby Skylark. Skylark was picked most notably due to the fact that he was the first official member of the PWG family, and Masters due to his popularity in the land of the rising sun. Mark Sherrick also petitioned for the spot, but PWG officials have stated that while he was not picked for this match, his desire to compete for the company as far away as Japan will not go unnoticed.

-Speaking of the Devil, Mark Sherrick is glad to have his legal troubles behind him for the moment, and has been visiting local radio stations to promote his open contract, and his match on the Legends Are Born event. He is also petitioning to be one of the PWG representatives in the match at the Super 8 tournament. PWG officials are bewildered at present time, though. While Bobby Skylark challenged Troy Fenix and was answered right away, not a single soul has touched the challenge of Mark Sherrick for Smashed Into Pieces. Without saying too much, PWG officials are curious as to whether or not the other athletes are nervous to step into the ring with the former "Captain Wonder."

-Details are sketchy, but there is talk of Pro Wrestling Glory being involved in an umbrella league with various other federations coming together to form one world-wide group. More on this information if and when it develops.

-There is a rivalry growing in PWG, and we haven't even had our first show yet! Tempers are flaring between Bobby Skylark and Troy Fenix, who continue to play a game of verbal tag back and forth with one another. It is now common knowledge that they are two of the four men involved in the Legends Are Born main event, and will also square off one-on-one at Smashed Into Pieces. This past week Skylark had the following to say in response to Fenix: "Typical western attitude. A lot of these cruiserweights out west there think that their s*** don't stink. And Troy? He ain't no different. ... I have family in Phoenix... so I've managed to catch quite a few wrestling shows out there. Good stuff, mostly. And you know what's funny about that? ... I don't remember Troy Fenix's name being on ANY ONE OF THEM. So if he thinks he's the biggest, baddest, cruiserweight in America? He's got another thing coming. ... You can count on that, baby! WOOOOO!!!"

-It goes without saying, that Adrian Lauderdale has been thinking a lot about himself, and what he's going to do in his debut match at "Legends Are Born". But what hasn't been said, is what he expects to get out of this event. PWG officials caught up with the "Original Gangsta", to get a few words. This is what he said: "Y'know, the more I think about this event, Legends Are Born, it just makes me realize how easy I got it. Not many are equipped with the straight up thuggin' the Original Gangsta was blessed with. And after Legends are Born, I'm gonna prove it, you best believe that! These 'otha' suckas, ain't got a damned thing on me. I'm the real legend!" And word has it, Adrian has a surprise for the entire PWG in the near future. What could he and his fiancee Lena D. have in mind? Keep tuned in to find out!

-C.J. Rowell was recently tracked down to Australia, where he is on tour currently in Melbourne. He apologizes for not talking a little sooner, but insists that come Legends Are Born, the PWG fans will not be ready for what he has plans for. He also went on record to say that he wouldn't mind taking out some loudmouths along his way to being deemed the first PWG Champion. He feels he's the best wrestler on the roster and will vouch for it come belltime.

-Word has it that a tag team may be on it's way to PWG. This team has past affiliations with PWG star, C.J. Rowell. We'll have more on this story in the upcoming weeks.

With all this talk of tag teams in the air, it was announced this week that PWG has signed their first tag team. Please welcome to the Pro Wrestling Glory Family the team of Justin Payne and Bane - The Vipers (pictured above). These two men are straight up brawlers who are looking to prove that they will not only be the first team here in PWG, but also the very best.

-There is some big Legends Are Born news coming out today. Two huge matches have been signed that are sure to fire up the crowd at Skate West. In one contest, "The American Champion" Chip Masters will be taking on Joshua "The Purist" Frampton. These two men are well versed in technical wrestling, and it should prove to be an outstanding contest. Also signed is a match pitting "Blockbuster" CJ Rowell against the behemoth "Thai Land Murderer" Wreck. This clash of styles should also prove to be an exciting bout.

-PWG has signed an official ring announcer to the staff. Troy Griffin (pictured right) has worked in and around the Illinois indy scene for the better part of the past two years, and will now add Pro Wrestling Glory to his resume.

-On the heels of their signings last week, PWG's new commentators have left comments with PWG officials. Ron Martin was a wrestling commentator in the seventies, eighties, and early nineties. He became disgusted at the mainstream product in the early nineties and called it quits. He had the following to say: "I've always been the kind of man who likes to see athletes compete at the best of their ability. Not with elaborate schemes or gimmicks, but just skill against skill. Until Pro Wrestling Glory came along, that aspect of professional wrestling was missing. Let it be known that I was not contacted for this job - I called Pro Wrestling Glory myself so that I could be a part of this amazing product." Ron's counterpart, the brash, young, and downright offensive Vincent Coltrane left us with the following: "Yeah, I'm commentating for Pro Wrestling Glory. Your point? The fact that Vincent Coltrane is going to be on these tapes is going to increase sales tenfold, and although my request for sixty percent of all profits was denied, I figured I'd help these scrubs out anyway. Speaking of scrubs, though, what's the deal with the old dude I'm working with? He better get a grip because when he's sitting next to me, its gonna be a culture shock for the wrinkly freak. Now don't get me wrong - I've got nothing wrong with the elderly. They've got their place in society - stuffed in a pine box and buried six feet underground."

    PWG Scoops (6/7/04)
-"The American Champion" Chip Masters is already making waves in Pro Wrestling Glory. Some in the industry have questioned Masters' move from world-wide competition to an indy promotion, but as Chip states, he needs to "educate the roster" on how to properly wrestle! He also is claiming to be ready to issue a "Masters Degree" to the athletes of PWG in order to save their careers. Continuing with the disturbances of Masters, he is not exactly happy that his name has not been added to the Legends Are Born main event. More on that at is becomes available.

-"Wildfire" Bryan Summers, who will face Mark Sherrick at Legends Are Born, was tracked down by PWG officials this week. Summers went on record as saying: "It looks as if the talent is really beginning to flow. I looking forward to teaming with and facing all of the guys that sign a contract with PWG."

-In some big news, Troy Fenix caught up with officials this week as well. He was unavailable for contact last week due to a tour of Japan, but he did catch wind of "Skyhigh" Bobby Skylark's challenge to a one-on-one match. Fenix had the following to say: "As if the beating he's going to suffer at Legends Are Born isn't enough, he wants to go ahead and sign a future encounter with me? That's fine, I'm game. It's always fun to kick people's teeth in."

-The statement made by Joshua Frampton last week is raising some eyebrows. He claimed that he would be "making a huge entrance" in PWG, but "The Original Gangster" Adrian Lauderdale can't help but disagree. Lauderdale left us with the following comments: "People are sayin' they're all about makin' impacts? They don't know anything until they see MY impact. But y'know, this Joshua Frampton? Wassup dawg? Makin' a big entrance with your hoochie? I don't dig the chicks lackin' class, and the only one out there who does is my Lena D. When he comes around you bet, The B-Unit is buggin' out straight thug."

-Mark Sherrick didn't get a chance to speak with PWG officials last week, and with good reason - he was being detained at the Canadian border! He was attempting to cross back over in New York but was held up due to charges filed by a member of ISW. Sherrick is ready and pumped for Legends Are Born and beyond! In fact, he faxed an open contract to PWG headquarters stating that he will "show the PWG that he means business, and will take on all comers, anytime."

-There is some big news concerning PWG this week. The PWG announce team has been set for any and all Pro Wrestling Glory home video releases. The is pictured above and are Ron Martin (left) and Vincent Coltrane (right). They both plan on making statements about their PWG careers next week.

-A match has been signed for Pro Wrestling Glory's second outting. The show will be titled Smashed Into Pieces, featuring a one-on-one battle between "Skyhigh" Bobby Skylark and Troy Fenix. The show will once again come from Skate West in Cresthill, Illinois. More details on this event as it becomes available.

    PWG Scoops (5/31/04)
-Fighting through a flu recently, "Skyhigh" Bobby Skylark recently wrestled Funk Caddney in Baltimore, Maryland for the Baltimore City Cruiserweight Championship. Skylark came up short in what was said to be an epic battle, but turned heads after the contest. He told the crowd of his new position in Pro Wrestling Glory, and then went on to challenge Troy Fenix to a one-on-one contest. Skylark was quoted as saying "I admire Fenix's background, as I have become well acquainted with it by reading his biography on PWG's current website. I want to fight the dude."

-"The Original Gangster" Adrian Lauderdale is stirring it up recently, along with Lena D. When asked about the four-corners main event at Legends Are Born, Lauderdale replied with the following: "It's only obvious who's gonna walk out of there with the big W. Me! These other dudes, they got nothin' on me...and it's for sure. I pity these dudes thinkin' they have a snowballs chance in Hell against me! I end people's career yo, I bust it out straight hood...these boys don't know what they're up against! Too bad they're gonna have to find out the hard way...."
