Sketchbook Drawings
I took a basic art class in college and one of the things we had to do was keep a sketchbook. I usually left the homeworks for the last minute and some I actually drew as I was falling asleep. Because of that, most are drawings of jars or shoes :)  These here however, are the one's I liked the most
I did these during bored moments. A girl actually came up to me when I was drawing the maze looking one and said I should think about going into architecture. I just looked at her and thought: "riiiiiiight...".
I think these were done to show shadow and detail. Andre, Carol and the pepper. The pepper is actually a sketch from some other persons exhibition we had to go to...I do not remember their name.
Doug! This is one I drew half asleep. That's probably why it looks like a cartoon. :)  Whatever happened to Doug?...
This is a sketch of John Singer Sargent's "Madame X". Yes, another exhibit we had to attend. The exhibit was held in DC in 1999. I don't even think my TA wemt to the exhibit because she didn't even recognize the drawing and was going to lower my grade.
