On the second page of this presentation are listed 4 criteria for the exercise. The 3rd criteria reads: GOAL: ENHANCED MISSION READINESS. The last criteria reads: SCENARIOS: BASED ON "PERCEIVED" THREATS. (Emphasis theirs). On page five, they state: FOCUS ON A REALISTIC CURRENT THREAT. On page 19, the presentation shows a graph of the agencies involved in the chain of operations, specifiying who needs to be informed and by whom, the responsibility and accountability chain, this would be. Printed in huge black glaring letters is the text: GET NORAD J5 INVOLVED EARLY with "early" even in bigger, bolder text.
Next we move to page 22, the CONSEQUENCE MGT CONNECTIVITY DRILL and another graph of yet another "chain" of responsibilities and accountabilities, from the FBI to FEMA to the Army. But what strikes the eye is the clipart image down at the lower left corner of this page that shows a city scape with a skyscraper and a big orange infernal ball of an explosion. There is a drone in the sky and a radar seeker from "somewhere offside" and the text reads: ETA 17 MINUTES. It is repeated on page 23 as well. Pages 32 and 33 discuss a proposal for a live event and the various objectives. They are absolutely worth a read as they reveal what to do, when to do it, who to do it with, to and for...but it is page 34 that is curious indeed. The text reads: EVERYONE PARTICIPATES with another graph and then seperated by a black right pointing arrow, there is an image of a USA-Canada map with the text stating specifically: HIJACK SCENARIO. This map, a graphic, is superimposed over two real photos, the one to the left is a commercial passenger jet and the one to the right is the US Capitol. On the map itself is a red dotted line-arrow that originates from the northern Pacific and ends on the US east coast...in DC. What does it mean? It means that alongside the Pentagon's specific drills on counter terrorism, NORAD likewise was conducting very specific drills...only with regard to cruise missiles.
There are chilling implications beneath the superficial justification for this particular drill that relates specifically to the post 911 questions about what really happened on 911 - that it was not a Boeing jet that hit the Pentagon, but in fact, a missile. There are countless resources with photographic evidence that it was very likely a missile that hit the Pentagon and not a jet, as much as the post 911 film footage capturing the jets slamming into the WTC towers that also have revealed other objects that clearly looked to have been missiles or some projectiles coming both from beneath the jets themselves immediately before impact (and out the other side), as well as objects flying in from the rear of the impact areas that noone noticed due to the crisis in the front.
There is likewise another chilling association to be made to the name given to this drill, AMALGAM VIRGO 01. Amalgam means a blend of many elements. In Astrology, the zodiac sign for Virgo takes place from August 23 thru September 22. 01 is obviously for the year 2001. The events of the terrorist attack on America took place September 2001, during the sign of Virgo.

NORAD also has confirmed it was running two mock drills on Sept. 11 at various radar sites and command centers in the United States and Canada, including Air Force bases in upstate New York, Florida, Washington, and Alaska. One drill, Operation Vigilant Guardian, began a week before Sept. 11 and reflected a Cold War mind-set: Participants practiced for an attack across the North Pole by Russian forces. A NORAD spokesman noted, however, that the drills might have helped the command gear up quickly to respond to the Sept. 11 attacks because its command posts were already staffed. "It was quite fortuitous," said Maj. Douglas Martin of the Canadian Army and spokesman at NORAD headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colo. "The toughest thing for anyone is that we're using Sept. 12 eyes to dissect Sept. 11," he added. "No one is using Sept. 11 eyes."
Investigators at the Sept. 11 commission confirm they are investigating whether NORAD's attention was drawn in one direction - toward the North Pole - while the hijackings came from an entirely different direction.... ... Even after learning of the hijackings, it took six minutes for NORAD to order F-15 fighters into the sky from Otis Air National Guard Base on Cape Cod - the "alert" base nearest to New York. After that, it took another six minutes for the jets to roar down the runway. Then it took the jets 19 minutes to reach New York, raising this question: Did they fly at full throttle? At a top speed of almost 1,200 mph, an F-15 can reach Manhattan from Cape Cod in less than 12 minutes, NORAD says. Why did it take 19 minutes?

So, we know now that NORAD was already conducting drills even on the morning of 911. Who else was? In this article in the Boston Globe entitled, "Agency planned exercise on Sept. 11 built around a plane crashing into a building" the reporter begins: WASHINGTON - In what the government describes as a bizarre coincidence, one U.S. intelligence agency was planning an exercise last Sept. 11 in which an errant aircraft would crash into one of its buildings. But the cause wasn't terrorism -- it was to be a simulated accident. Officials at the Chantilly, Va.-based National Reconnaissance Office had scheduled an exercise that morning in which a small corporate jet would crash into one of the four towers at the agency's headquarters building after experiencing a mechanical failure. The agency is about four miles from the runways of Washington Dulles International Airport. Agency chiefs came up with the scenario to test employees' ability to respond to a disaster, said spokesman Art Haubold. No actual plane was to be involved -- to simulate the damage from the crash, some stairwells and exits were to be closed off, forcing employees to find other ways to evacuate the building. "It was just an incredible coincidence that this happened to involve an aircraft crashing into our facility," Haubold said. "As soon as the real world events began we canceled the exercise." In a promotion for speaker John Fulton, a CIA officer assigned as chief of NRO's strategic gaming division, the announcement says, "On the morning of September 11th 2001, Mr. Fulton and his team ... were running a pre-planned simulation to explore the emergency response issues that would be created if a plane were to strike a building. Little did they know that the scenario would come true in a dramatic way that day." The conference is being run by the National Law Enforcement and Security Institute. Condi Rice swore under oath that the threats were vague, that most of the information she had seen was little more than "historical" information describing the fact Bin Laden wanted to hurt us, but nothing specific, therefore because there was no specific threat as to who, what, when, where and how, nothing could've possibly been done...they had no idea on earth at all, it simply never occurred to anyone anywhere that planes would be, could be used as missiles to hit the Pentagon.
