Brittania is an unusual planet in that it has four continents and no islands. The climate is generally mild and wet in the Northwest and Southwest continents, drier in the Northeast continent and cold and icy in the Southeast continent. Forests and fields abound with a timber industry in the western corner of the Northeast continent and the north of the Southeast continent. The Northeastern continent has hot, desert like conditions in the "heel" of its "boot" and much of the rest of the three temperate continents supports large agricultural areas. There is some mining in the region of Queen Elizabeth Station on the Southwest continent and many resorts all over the Northeast continent, especially in Hambletonium and Shropshire. With its large ocean area, Britannia also has a large fishing and hydroponics industry and also mines minerals from the seabed. |
