They argued and disagreed as the answer Shigeru got were not what he expected. He did not think of this to ever happen as he trusted this man to safeguard his city in the shadows. Anger clouded Shigeru's mind as he threatened Zepheros. But his threats were ignored as he did not persist. Zepheros displayed a very content attitude, very calm and organized that evening which were what possibly kept a fight from breaking out that day.
After it was all said and done, Shigeru had no choice but to accept the facts. The city was no longer his. What he created was in the hands of another man. However, the VampHunt displayed an unexpected reaction... that of relief... or what Zepheros observed anyways. They didn't seem to care and Zepheros was glad to know the confrontation with a very old clan was not a possibility. So with the arguments and discussions of that evening, it had ended.
Zepheros requests were fulfilled from those willing to help rebuild what was falling apart. The word was being spread of Tolijin's new order. Zepheros did a lot more for the city over the next few days. Many were hired to accomplish feats deemed fascinating by many travelers and tourists. A very large wall was constructed around the city. With Guard Towers located at each section of the Octagon shaped wall. A portion was left open of course, for the harbor. Towers were howerver constructed at the ends of each wall to add protection from any possible attacks from the seas.
Many were given jobs that day, as Zepheros did not care about the current funds he had to spend from past trades and exchanges in goods, that kept the city alive and flourishing. Businesses erupted as activity in the city increased dramatically. Old visitors had come back in much relief of the new order and lack of chaos. People greeted Zepheros everywhere he was, offering their assistance and duties to help serve Tolijin. The Guard duty was more than a handful, and many loved the idea of protecting the city... Zepheros however believes they enjoy the free use of the Catapults and weapons at their disposal. But that did not bother him, he was enlightened to know they did it out of free will.
Many months have passed since Tolijin's change. Zepheros has agreed to let Shigeru assist Tolijin yet again. The responsibility seeming a little much for himself. This was in his favor however, as the alliance was a fortune for Tolijin City. However, that was the good news. As time passed, a war was brewing. A secret alliance, bound on a journey to simply reign supreme on the Western half of the World. Known as Mardonia. Zakoji made a decision to fight these people, but did not realize the sheer force Mardonia already had. Zakoji was on a mission to make alliances before Mardonia made it's attack. Spies came and gone, some caught, some killed as the calculated numbers of each's force were figured. Shigeru kept calm through the times as he dealt with hardships of this coming war, also realizing the threat this could be to the small town of Tolijin. He informed Zepheros at a later date, which he hadn't expected to hear. However, Zepheros considered it a threat and took action to properly prepare Tolijin, if such a war was to march to Tolijin.
However, Tolijin was in luck as Mardonia had more trouble than it thought. But this did not come without casualties. As the war edged near a massive conflict, small assaults and attempted assassinations brewed across the land of the West.
And then came the first wave of the war. Mardonia attacked Mist Keep in it's secluded mountain retreat. Zakoji was prepared for this, but not for happened throughout the battle. A very clever impersonater that goes by the name of Gorodo took the place of Shigeru.. how exactly? Some are baffled by this and can not figure it out. Even the close friends of Shigeru himself. The war changed tides very quickly as the favor was in Mardonia. The Mist Keep had no chance and Zakoji was forced to retreat. The Keep fell into the hands of Mardonia, but not for long. Within the next day, Zakoji had gathered it's forced and strategically taken the Keep back. Killing everyone who was stationed there. The main of the force already moving on.... to where ever their next location may be.
