A closer look at the waterfall. If you add a waterfall feature to your pond you may see what is called string algae grow from the rocks. This is common and that type of algae is not bad, it doesn't cloud the water in fact it filters the water . It does however restrict the flow of water somewhat. I just take a broom and brush it off from time to time. You can also use a product called Pond Balance to control it if it gets out of hand. |

Here is a water lily in bloom and 2 of my 3 Gold fish. There called Fantail goldfish and you can see why by the white ones tail. | ||||||||||||||||||||
I love to come out and just look at the pond. Everyday there is a different look to it , new plants blooming, the way the sun hits it. It has been more fulfiling then I ever thought it would be, to me and my family. If your thinking of building one DO IT!!! Nothing is more relaxing then to come home from work and sit out on the deck and just listen and look.... Nature soothes the soul. | ||||||||||||||||||||
