Aboard Titaenus, Kylie is enjoying her "vacation."  The peaceful life of the community of people that live aboard the massive being is just what she needed.    But it is not to last, as Jael'il, the Avatar of Titaenus, returns to the ship with Parthan.  Even Kylie cannot convince the Avatar that Parthan was no true friend and was actually a danger to them all.  She can only watch as Titaenus leaves Felora behind and begins the journey toward Parthan's destination...

Back at Felora, Warren, the android Sif, and the Minion Regallan board L'tor's ship and begin their own journey towards Ceres. Meanwhile, Belemon, more desperate than ever to discover the secret of the Empress' condition, decides to take more drastic measures...

With Mai's help, Belemon performs a "delving" - an attempt to send his own spirit into the Empress in order to discover the truth of what was affecting her and possibly correct it from within.   The spell pulls Belemon into the Inquiry, where he learns that Salio is behind the Empress' coma.    Belemon is able to contact the Empress within the Inquiry and, after convincing her that he was truly from the real world, admits that he has little chance at affecting what Salio was doing.  He could, however, search out and possibly undo Skiff's seal.  The Empress suprises him by telling him that it was not Skiff's work after all...
