Warren emerges from the Aelisir having undergone a startling transformation.  More suprisingly, the magic waters did not only affect him, but his sword as well!  Physically changed as well as radiating dark menace, it allowes Warren to cut Parthan even as the Minion tried to teleport away.  Parthan, however, is only excited about facing a worthy opponent...

Despite even Kylie's fervent warnings, Warren attacks Parthan.  The Minion, however, is able to stay just one step ahead of him, narrowly avoiding Warren's swift attacks every time.  Parthan goads Warren into being ever more reckless, and in a terrible trick, lures one of the boy's attacks to strike the Avatar of Titaenus!  Direly wounded, the Avatar slumps to the ground.  Warren, however, isn't concerned, as the Aelisir's influence and his lust for Parthan's blood has left him without any remorse.  But before the two can renew their battle, Regallan Fashan steps forward...

Warren refuses to yield the battle to Regallan, and the Minion is forced to take action against him!    Seemingly reluctant to face the other Minion, Parthan offers him a deal instead - take the waters of the Aelisir and walk away - but Regallan declines.  His sense of honor would never allow him to let Parthan have his way with Warren and the others, no matter what the cost might be to himself.  And so, their battle begins...
