You know I missed you Mom as you knew that I would, but when I awoke, I sensed things were good.
I saw my mom and my sister, too. Reesey just smiled as you knew she would do.
Silly Snickers barked and ran up in glee, I could hardly believe they were so glad to see me.
They all said come on we have a job for you, As we walked to a place fields covered with dew.
These friends just arrived, we want you to know. They came altogether from a place far below.
So I met them from Bucky to Belle, Hillary and Dot who I remembered well. I made friends with the boys Crockett and Bruce, such wonderful friends and such stories they tell.
Crockett said there is one more I think you will know, she is over the hill pretending to show. We climbed the hill, and looked gently down, saw a little blonde girl jumping over the clouds. We think you know Poppet, she was once at your home, but she misses her people even more than you know.
I called softly to her, and she came straight away. I said I am Cappy from your former days.
She smiled, then lit up, all her cares fell away. Oh sure I do know you from your loving ways.
I remember you Cappy, you laid by my pen. And kept me from harm by your presense, my friend.
Your humans send love, but until they come here, I will walk with you Poppet, and sleep ever so near.
So we all went together to Poppet's new field, had a go at the jumps, poles and tunnels, running them so clear.
We were cheered on by dear Angus, who was very wise. You could tell he was special by the love in his eyes.
I could jump once again, my feet just like new. Then later we slept by the rivers so blue.
We do not forget you, up here we will wait, til you get here dear families up here we will stay. I will care for our collies day after day, once again we will see you after your earthly stay.
