i do alot of hiking and such and if chased by a bear ya can throw stuff into his eyes.. one can bite if one cannot see... that rules applys to all not just humans.. ppl dont realize if ya climb a tree yer safe if the bear follows ya stomp his claws like ya would a persons hand. no need to take the bears life... ive been caught into a stampede of mue deer with antlers..also tramppled to death.. climbed a tree after being ripped to shreds they were spooked...? grizzly bears reported in the area .. but anyways id like to share stories with others

I bookmarked this site so I can refer back to it in the future and further educate my children on wolves and wolf packs. We are all very interested in wolves and have wolf paraphenalia all over our house. We buy several wolf things from National Wildlif Catalog. The wolf is a beautiful creature. Maybe someday soon we will be able to be an adoptive family or help in some way. Money is limited although we do donate money to the Milwaukee County Zoo so they can upgrade their wolf facilities. We would l ke to be able to see some wolves in the wolf area. Every time we go there, we maybe see a head or tail but that is it. The kids don't really think there are wolves in that area. Hopefully with more donations, the zoo can make it a habitat that the wolve will be happy with and we can watch them socializing with each other.
