| This trail can be accessed from the Slamo Pass Trailhead. For driving directions to the trailhead, see my writeup for The Salmo Basin. The hike follows a level roadbed for a mile before entering the forest and then continues in an uphill grade through the forest for another mile before one emerges onto an open, level ridge line offering spectacular views. The last half mile of the trail descends through the forest to its junction with the Shedroof Divide Trail. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
