Trail 512 The Shedroof Divide
		This trail follows the eastern ridge of the Salmo-Priest Wilderness Area in northeast Washington state. The trail is 21.8 miles in length. I'm planning to tackle this trail in a series of day hikes by accessing the trail from various locations in the Priest Lake Ranger District and the Sullivan Lake Ranger District.
		Here is a tentative list of day hikes: => Park on Road 302 and hike to Roundtop and Mankato Mountains, continue on Trail 512 to its junction with Trail 526 (Thunder Creek), return to truck => Park at Trail 511 (Shedroof Cutoff) and hike to Trail 512 and follow it to Thunder Mountain, return to truck => Park at Trail 511 (Shedroof Cutoff) and hike to Trail 512 and follow it to Shedroof Mountain, return to truck => Park at Slamo Pass Trailhead and hike on Trail 535 (Salmo Divide) to Trail 512 and follow it to Shedroof Mountain, return to truck => Park at Slamo Pass Trailhead and hike on Trail 535 (Salmo Divide) to Trail 512 and follow it to its junction with trails 315 (Upper Hughes), 349 (Little Snowy Top), 14 (Little Snowy Lookout), and Trail 506 (end of Trail 512),  return to truck => Park at Trail 526 (Thunder Creek) and hike to Trail 512 and follow it to Thunder Mountain, return to truck => Park at Slamo Pass Trailhead and hike on Trail 506 (Salmo Basin) to Trail 512 and follow it to Trail 14 (Little Snowy Lookout) and then on to its junction with Trail 535 (Salmo Divide). Follow Trail 535 to truck. (Note: Hike to include a side trip on Trail 531, Salmo Cabin.)
