Trip back to Christchurch

This was one long trip back to Christchurch. Just thinking no more 16 hour days, time to start kicking back and having a few drinks.But there was still the task of hosing the gear down and packing it into the Cargo containers to be shipped back to Australia. Now a few of us headed off the to a bar and boogied the night away till the wee hours in the morning. Staggering back to the tent is harder than it looks... Ouch!!! damm tent guide lines.. Now Bicycle Victoria put on a nice spread for those who stayed back to help out which they always do for their Volunteer's, Ice cold beers, Wine and a hot meal... what more could you ask for. This would be the last night to sleep in a tent before heading off to Wellington for the rest of my holiday.

Thanks to George and crew for keeping the Maintenance side of things up and running Thanks to Vin and the Eco team for cleaning up the sites every day when every one is gone, Without you guys we would never be allow back again I do appreciate your work. Big Thanks to Keith and the Campsite crew that I worked with . It was a hard 2 weeks but we did it. Will miss you all. Thanks to all the other teams as well that I missed.
