Microsoft have announced Rare will make 5 games in 2 years including a sequel to Perfect Dark. And other games including Banjo-Kazooie, Conker and Kameo. To accompany the press release is a video with Joanna Dark, Conker, Kameo and Banjo showing that they are now on X-BOX. The press release also contains comments from the Stamper brothers who are both very excited about the deal. All links were removed, and pictures and any outside links were removed. Over the space of an hour, Rare removed everything off the site except the front page. Interestingly, Rare left Kameo, SabreWulf and Diddy Kong Pilot on the front page. We can assume Kameo is headed to Xbox, and SabreWulf and DKP to GBA. Expect more news from today's XO2 event in Seville where Rare is set to announce plans for the Xbox., and stick to Rarewhere for more breaking news on the matter. | The End of Rarewhere? 3/10/02 - Aus - Posted By Tim Schaefer Over the last few days, ive been contemplating my resignation as editor of Rarewhere. Yesterday, i decided that i should step aside and let someone else take over.I just dont have the passion for Rare to the extent as i did before. Don't get me wrong, i still love them, but i havent got that overwhelming urge anymore to update Rarewhere as soon as some news hits. For that reason, there's a good chance that Rarewhere will remain dormant again, until the release their first Xbox game. If anyone is willing to take over the reigns for me, i'd be more than happy to have a chat to them, although i'd need to believe that Rarewhere will be appear to thrive under the new management. So, if anyone's interested, write me an application letter, and send it here, and il get back to you as soon as possible. I apoligise to Rarewhere's fans of my departure, but it is better that i leave now instead of doing a half-arsed job of the site in the future. Thankyou for your continued support over the last few months!
