What we ask of you when you use our service
Let us know if you can't make an appointment.  We understand that you may need to cancel at the last minute, but it is important to let us know in advance if possible.

Keep our address confidential.  The address should not be given to anyone else without the permission of your counsellor.

Please don't call at the house without an appointment or arrive too early.  We have no waiting room.

If you would like someone to come with you on your first appointmrnt, please let your counsellor know before you arrive.

Violent behaviour is unacceptable from both service users and workers.

You cannot consume drugs/alcohol other than cigarettes, or those medically prescribed, while on the premises.  If you use drugs/alcohol before a counselling session your counsellor may ask to arrange another appointment with you.

It is very important to us that the service we are providing meets your needs.

Any ideas, comments or suggestions you have are welcomed.  You can either talk to your counsellor, phone & speak to a paid worker on the business line (

You will also be asked to fill in a monitoring & evaluation form by your counsellor at the end of the period of counselling.  These forms are completely confidential, but help us to make changes to the service when needed.
