Spring Semester 2005

United States and the World 329

This is by far my favorite class that I am taking over here. It centers around the role of the United States as a world power and our foreign relation policies toward other nations. Specific information that we will cover include a compare and contrast between Realists and Wilsonian Liberals. The importance of multilateralism and the United Nations, The International Criminal Court as it pertains to the U.S., Bush's decision to withdraw from the Kyoto Protocol and other relevent foreign relation issues.

Japanese Pre-History to Present 205

I am really enjoying this class. We are currently studying the Kamakura Period between 1185 and 1333. We have moved fairly steadily through history up until this point, but we will be spending a great deal more time comparing the rise of the Warrior nation and the former aristocratic rule. We have just disscused the first major warrior group which was started by Sei-Tai Shogun.

International Perspective 212

This class is probably my least favorite do to my dis-satisfaction with the proffesor teaching it. He is quite critical towards the United States (which is fine), but he does not teach the class in a fair and balanced way. That aside, the class compares different nations policies on domestic issues. We are currently comparing the welfare system between Sweden, Germany and Thatchers Brittain.

I threw this table together to show what my class schedule will look like this fall semester, in case anybody is looking for me. I'm done with my drop/add and I am really happy with how my classes have turned out. You can use this schedule as a guide in case your wondering where I am at. If you can't get ahold of me, go ahead and leave me a message, as I now have an answering machine (Thanks to my mom and dad).

The button below links you to a page that holds papers that I wrote last year for my freshmen English class. I think that they are interesting, and I thought that other people would like to read what I had wrote. So if you've found this little paragraph, click on the button below, and read some of the stories that I wrote. Then leave me feedback in my guestbook (located bottom of Home page) telling me what you thought of my stories.

Below is a button that will link you to a project that I created for my Astronomy 104 class. It's a page about Messier object 44 that was found by Charles Messier an astronomer in 1700 A.D. The page has pictures of the star cluster, as well as history and technical information. It also contains some links to other website that list and describe information about Messier object 44.
