The Royal Rifles of Canada, “D” Company

"D" Company was the last of the defending troops to lay down their arms on December 25, 1941. "D" Company had 151 soldiers, all ranks. When the war ended 43 of them were dead, with 27 killed in action and 16 dead from disease in captivity.
