Chapter 25
                              Conclusion Part IV

In Part IV we have looked at the need for a medical corps in God's army.
We have seen that by checking our temperature reading on the 'I' scale, we can
see how much room we have left for the Holy Spirit to work in us.  We have
also seen that to control our spiritual bleeding, we need to follow James'
advice.  Not only must we read our bibles, meditate on what we have read, pray
for assistance from God, but we must do the unthinkable, change.  We must be
willing to be serious about correcting our spiritual health.  We have been
told over and over that it is impossible for us to serve two masters.  And
yet, we try repeatedly to stay in the middle of the road, with a foot in both
camps.  No we don't consciously want to be in Satan's camp, but if we aren't
in the Lord's will then we are against it, and in our own will.  This makes us
prisoners of Satan's.  We need to make our church conduct the conduct of our
every day life.  Philippians 4:1-9 says, "Therefore, my brethren dearly
beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly
beloved.  I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same
mind in the Lord.  And I entreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women
which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my
fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.  Rejoice in the Lord
alway: and again I say, Rejoice.  Let your moderation be known unto all men.
The Lord is at hand.  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing in prayer and
supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And
the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and
minds through Christ Jesus.  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things
are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report;
if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in
me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.".  What is wrong with our

churches today? I think it is our faith.  To paraphrase Romans 10:12, "For
there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek, the Methodist and the
Baptist, or the Catholic and the Lutheran, the Episcopalian and the
Congregationalist , etc. : for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that
call upon him.".   We need to get our sights back on the goal, that of serving
God, and off of serving Satan by confusing the message being given to the
world.  Jesus tells us in Matthew 18:10-14: "Take heed that ye despise not one
of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do
always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.  For the Son of man is
come to save that which is lost.  How think ye? if a man have an hundred
sheep, and one of them goes astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and
goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?  And if so be
that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than
of the ninety and nine which went not astray.  Even so it is not the will of
your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.".
Always and at all times we need to walk in His image.
