21st CENTURY TEENS: ENJOY THE ADVENTURE!

My name is Robert Doran. I have been a professional educator for more than 30 years, having taught at Sterling-Newman Central Catholic High School, Morrison Community High School and McHenry East High School, and Aurora University...all in Illinois. I am passionate when it comes to writing about, talking about, and working with high school-aged youth. They have taught me much.
WHAT GUIDES ME?

I fervently believe that today's adolescent ranks among the brightest, most highly educated, most charitable generations in America's history. Twenty-First Century teens work as hard, play as rough, and contribute as much or more than any generation that preceeded them. It is of profound importance that those who work with teens and raise teens learn how to most effectively live in the same environment with them! Enjoy the challenge and reap the benefits of being closely tied to this wonderful age group.
