Paula: Hello realize2actualize: hello Paula: what does your name mean? realize2actualize: it's based upon the idea that we always actualize what we realize about ourselves realize2actualize: many time unconsciously thought realize2actualize: therefore, changing our realization of who we are and how we look at ourselves can help us to actualize ourselves in a desired fashioning realize2actualize: if this makes any sense, maybe not, but this is the best way I can put it right now Paula: manifesting and affirmation type of thing Paula: ? realize2actualize: something along those lines realize2actualize: but affirmation is different I think realize2actualize: maybe affirmation comes after realization realize2actualize: well, let's not make it too complicated, shall we realize2actualize: in very simple words, our the way we look at ourselves creates our reality Paula: an example would be to affirm something within oneself, little words to repeat that are positive. realize2actualize: therefore, changing our view, perceptions and thoughts can help us to change ourselves in positive and constructive ways Paula: yes Paula: okay Paula: how can one change perceptions, though. Paula: this one has been a bit difficult for me. realize2actualize: by understanding that perceptions are not about what is, but rather about us and how we want or need things to be realize2actualize: perception, unlike the advertising slogan goes is not reality realize2actualize: perception is only Our reality realize2actualize: and many times we stay stuck in a certain way of looking at ourselves and life in general realize2actualize: and from this we judge and look at the world around us, based upon our perception of it Paula: yes, been working on clarity, but this one I have to admit has been difficult. realize2actualize: but in order to develop understanding of the greater truth surrounding us we need to learn how to look beyond our perception and instead open ourselves up to what lies beyond realize2actualize: yes, it's a tricky one, nevertheless, this is where the greatest opportunity for growth lies Paula: I just felt your name is a good name. Paula: for me, I can't seem to make a difference between what comes first realize/actualize or actualize/realized.......they seem to bounce off of each other. realize2actualize: in terms of the confusion about the name and what comes first realize2actualize: how could it be possible to actualize something without realizing it first?? realize2actualize: I mean, without the realization, the thought, an actualization or action is not possible realize2actualize: you have to realize something in order to actualize something realize2actualize: furthermore I subscribe to the idea that whatever happens in life is meant to be realize2actualize: which does not mean that everything is predestined realize2actualize: but then again, there are no accidents in life realize2actualize: yet, we have free will Paula: yes realize2actualize: so this is a somewhat tricky concept Paula: I definitely would like the connections on these subjects Paula: because am finding out it's not in books. :) realize2actualize: yes |
