The Muslims cut out the tongues of Christians and kill their own children
if their sons or daughters become Christians, in Afganistan there are eight
Christians to be ON TRIAL soon and are IN JAIL today for the CRIME of

with Brother Andrew. In this film we see the story of a young man who
received his degree from a university in Chicago who returns to his home in
the Middle East for a short visit. His Muslim family, thinking he has
returned home to stay, discover that Samir has converted to Christianity.
The film reveals the Muslim tradition of a father either banishing or
killing his own for becoming a Christian. Without family support, Samir
wanders alone in the city and we see the cost of what believers every day
experience for their faith in a Muslim country.

We are grieved for all the families whose loved ones were murdered or
injured in the name of the false god, Allah, and his false

I went to my church last night for the Community prayer in response to the
terrorist bombing of the WTC and our Pentagon. The church was packed.
There must have been 2,000 people there. The prayer meeting was only
announced that afternoon via email about 6 hours before the event. It was
wonderful to see that people were so touched to come and pray and worship
God. It shows the power of email and the pull of prayer to those who know
that our only real help will come from us crying out to God for His mercy,
blessing and help.
It was thrilling to see our Congress, both Democrat and Republican,
last night spontaneously gathering on the steps of the capitol and singing
"GOD BLESS AMERICA".
Members of Congress promised to "stand together"
and vowed revenge in the aftermath of terror attacks Tuesday that killed
hundreds, perhaps thousands, in Washington and New York.

and think our work is now done?
Every Vote and Every Law Counted...
THE FUNCTION OF THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE
Even though President Elect Bush won the Electoral College
and the counties across the USA, we can expect those who are
against our beloved Constitution to continue to run a media
campaign to try to undermine the Rule of Law to change the
Electoral College to a popular vote system which is contrary
to the Original Intent and safeguards designed by our
Forefathers. The Electoral College helps bring thought
from intelligent study rather than undue influence by
possibly dishonest sound bytes. It brings balance,
stability, reason (rather than mob-mania and emotional
mania), protection of the two-party system, very important
protection to smaller states so that a candidate needs to
seek support from the entire country and not just from the
heavily populated cities. The Electoral College has performed
a 200-year function of ensuring that the president has both
sufficient popular support to govern and that his popular
support is sufficiently distributed throughout the country
to enable him to govern effectively. It was a genius of
our Forefathers to create it.
WHAT OPPOSITION CAN WE EXPECT?
Enemies of our republic will try to continue to
convince us that we are a democracy instead of the republic
that we were given. Many in the film, record and media
industry will continue to produce stories and music with
violence, immorality, homosexuality, anti-family, anti-free
enterprise and anti-American national sovereignty brain-
washing under the name of tolerance, diversity, family
planning and women's rights which are polite words for
abortion, globalism or other newly invented terms that
seem to sound innocent and good. The enemies of our
country will follow a path of dialectic materialism which
is two steps forward and one step back. When they get too
much opposition from the populace they take a step back and
we tend to relax and think all is okay and the battle is
over now. Then they take two evil steps forward in
outlandish or even gradual tiny steps of legislation which
brings them closer to their evil goals. They file lawsuits
to try to prohibit the posting of the Ten Commandments,
posting of even historical documents, prayer and Bible
reading. They promote agitation, protests and other evil
attempts in their efforts to destroy our moral and spiritual
cultural, our Christian heritage, our Constitution, our Rule
of Law under the guise of something that seems semi-harmless
and perhaps even has a little bit of good in it. They
promote more federalism as solutions to real or created
crisis which sacrifice states rights and our liberties.
It's like putting a little bit of dog poop in your brownies.
Even a little we must reject.
WHAT MUST WE DO?
We must stay alert, watchful, research, study, pray and
continue to email, phone, write and speak personally to our
elected officials and our friends, pastors and priests
whenever we can and whenever legislation comes up with which
we have the discernment to disagree. We must write to the
editors of newspapers, call in to Talk Shows and witness to
all about the good news of Jesus Christ because there are
souls to save all across America and the world and a cultural
battle to win. We must propose and promote decent and just
legislation and take the offense whether the enemy is on the
defense. God may lay upon your heart something that I
haven't even mentioned or spur you to get signatures on petitions
from your friends and work acquaintances, sit in front of
stores and get signatures, etc. Whatever your project or your
Crusade, do it to HELP SAVE AMERICA!!
HELP SAVE AMERICA
Go for it. Be active and alert.
Work both the defense and the offense.
Pray without ceasing.
Work to promote unity as a people rather than hyphenated
Americanism such as Hispanic-American, Black-American,
Italian-American, Asian-American, etc.
Encourage "E Pluribus Unum" - One out of many.
Study the party platforms and educate the people about what
these mean and where the different parties stand on
the issues.
Try to change both party platforms' positions to stand for
what pleases God.
Promote pro-life legislation.
Track your legislator and know how he/she votes.
Live a life of purity and witness so that people will want
to have the faith in God and His Son Jesus Christ that they
see in you.
Help the Boy Scouts and others stand firm against accepting
immoral leaders.
Encourage prayer before ball games, city council meetings,
the posting of the Ten Commandments and documents of
religious freedom in public buildings.
Encourage the reading of the Bible in public schools and
nondenominational classes in the Bible as literature.

Lord, we have moved so far from You that we no longer know
how to turn back. We have created a nation so self-focused

Americans are losing faith in their government,
the capacity of ordinary citizens to influence
public life appears to be weakening,
and our moral formation is under attack--
real problems of American life that we
need to be confronting directly.
But, I am reminded that we live in a country of peace!
We live in a country at peace?
We the people can.
But it cannot be of our own making.
The ways we have chosen have provided a veneer of peace,
but it is a weak and shallow veneer at best.
It is a veneer that glosses over moral lapses,
racial differences and social responsibilities
with glimmering phrases and sparkling platitudes.
It is a veneer that gives the illusion of peace
but contains the laments of destruction.
It is the way of man and not of God.
But there is Hope.
The hope that can be the anchor for our country,
firm and secure.

And that one scripture places within our country
much needed warmth, goodness and mercy.
