Squirrels, Black: inhabittant of the rainforest.

Sorp: a shellfish common to the Vosk and other rivers. the sorp is similar to an oyster; and like oysters, it produces pearls and is frequently used in making soups and stews.

Swamp spiders: man-sized acrachnids which inhabit the swampland near the city of Ar; they can communicate in human speech via the mechanical translators they wear around their abdomens; they spin Cur-lon Fiber, which is used in the textile mills of Ar.

Tabuk: A swift gazelle like animal, having a yellow in color and a single horn. Known for their sweet meat, the Tabuk is generally served roasted.

Tabuk, Northern: massive tawny and swift is mauch larger than the southern variety; standing 10 hands at the shoulder. They have a single spiralling ivory horn, which as it's base can be 2.5 inches in diameter and over a yard in length.

Tabuk, Prairie: descibed as tawny and swift and gazelle-like with a single horn, it responds to threat by scurrying away or lying down.

Tamber gulf oysters: found in the Tamber Gulf, they are served raw or baked.

Tanager: bird found in the remergent levels of the rainforests.

Tarsiers: noctunal jilt monkeys, inhabitants of the rainforest

Tarn: enormous relatives of the Urth golden eagle, some with a 50' wing span, they are bred in two types: 1) war tarns - heavier but agile, trained to aid in battle. 2) racing tarns - slender, lighter birds bred for speed and endurance. racing tarns are also used by messengers to go from one city-state to another.
Racing Tarns are also used for messengers to go from one city-state to another. tarn, transport- huge, heavy, slower birds bred to carry large loads in hanging baskets or pallets over great distances.

Tarn, war: heavier than average tarn but agile, trained to aid in battle, very ferocious.

Tarsk: 1) porcine animal akin to the Urth pig, having a bristly mane which runs down its spine to the base of the tail. they are not a favored food, being carrion eaters, but, are a staple amoung the rence growers.

Tarsk, giant: large cousin of the tarsk, standing 10 hands high at the shoulder.
tharlarion: one of several types of large, carnivorous reptiles, some of which have been domesticated; it's fat is rendered to provide lamp oil; see also mamba.
Tharlarian, Broad- sluggish tharlarian used as draft animals; herbivorous. tharlarian, high- agile tharlarian used as a mount for riding; like T.rex, they have very short, almost useless, forelegs; carnivous.

Tharlarian, Land: land dwelling tharlarian used for towing. The land tharlarian can swim, though not as effectively as the river tharlarian.

Tharlarian, Marsh: inhabitants of the marshes that comprise the delta of the Vosk; similar to crocodiles.

Tharlarian, Racing: these high tharlarians are bred and registered for racing. Unlike tha animals used in cavalry, these are chosen from 'medium class', being smaller and lighter. Famous bloodlines include Venetzia, Toraii, and Tharlarian.

Tharlarion, broad: sluggish tharlarion used as draft animals; herbivorous.

Tharlarion, high: agile tharlarion used as a mount for riding; like T. rex, they have very short, almost useless, forlegs; carnivorous.

Tharlarion, river: extremely large, herbivorous, web-footed lizards used by bargemen of the Cartius River to pull barges.

Tharlarion, rock: a small reptile of the Tahari

Tibit: a small, thin-legged bird which lives on tiny mollusks found on the shores of Thassa; sandpiper?

Toos:
a crab-like organism with overlapping plating; inhabits the Nest and scavenges on discarded fungus spores.

Tufted fisher: a waterbird which inhabits the rivers of the rainforests inland of Schendi.

Tumit: tumits are large, flightless carniverous birds of the plains, often hunted and eaten by the Nomadic people of Gor. Traditionally hunted with bolos, the sport lies in whether you or the bird gets to eat that night.

Turtle, Vosk: can grow to be gigantic, these animals are carnivorous, agressive and persistant. Can be hard to kill.

Ul: giant carnivorous pteradactyl which ranges from the swamps of the Vosk delta.

Umbrella bird:
a bird that lives in the lower canopies of the rainforest near Schendi.

Urt: a small, silken-furred rodent

Urt, ground: a small rodent which inhabits the floor of the rainforests inland of Schendi.

Urt, Canal: rapid, moving water mammal living along canals; particularly found in Port Kar.

Urt, Forest: nocturnal animal living in the forests, hunted by the hook-billed night crying fleer.

Urt, Giant: fat, sleek, and white, it has 3 rows of needle-like teeth and 4 horns.

Urt, Gliding: animal living in the canopies of the rainforests inland of Schendi.
