Testimony of a noisy waterspout.

When I was converted to Jesus Christ, it happened out on a highway in a pickup truck.  I first heard the Gospel on a downtown sidewalk. For more than ten years I participated in "churches", para-church organizations,etc..  I graduated from bible school, I taught, I preached and sang.  I was a missionary in foreign county for several years.

Twenty  years has  passed since I have attended a "church" service.  The only services  I attend inside a church building are weddings and funerals; unless I am asked to speak and that has been very rare.  The Lord by his word and in other many ways directed me not to sit in  solemn assemblies and buildings.  When I was showing the Jesus film overseas I never show edit in a building, always outside in market places, parks and football fields. 

Early,  I attended many various churches and fellowships and took part in their activities.  Gradually the Lord Jesus Christ opened my eyes to the realization of what they truly represented.   I found the best fellowship was always outside the "churches", on the streets, in hospitals, home cell groups, prisons and otherplaces. Jesus was there, where ever two or more gather in his name.

His holy word confirmed His calling "To come out of her and touch not the unclean thing", and with many other passages. A number of experiences  happened along the way to confirm His word also including a fire which shook me to conviction.

Very few of the churched people have tried to set me straight by quoting certain scriptures out of context and avoiding the rest of God's word , especially concerning their own condition.

Most of the churched are just quiet and say nothing. A few  just tell me they miss me and wish I come back. And when I try to explain it to them they act confused and can't see the problem.  What happens is that when someone sits in a church and comes under it's spirit (like a cloud or  fog) which prevents  seeing the any truth except "their" truth.  It is spiritual. A spirit of deception and God has given them it because they love not the truth.   It was not until I came out of her that I saw it.   In the same way when I left America for a short time I saw that also there is a spirit over America that keeps its people enslaved in deception.  By coming out of America or  church or my race etc, I see differently.  Those inside look at me differently too.

I am seen by those on the inside as being evil, confused, and lost. Clearly, I am not, Do they  look at a mirror? I know God has clouded their sight and nothing I say will convince them. The Lord Jesus can do it, but will not until they turn from their wicked ways and that is not very likely.

Jesus is building His Church.  It is outside. The word church (ekklesia) means "Called out ones". These are virgins. This means they are not defiled by the works of men.   They have cleansed themselves in the blood of the Lamb, pure, righteous  and made ready for His soon appearing. Look again in the mirrow. Who do you see?
