| Shane hip-hops to US |
| Shane Lynch is planning to move to America for six months, I hear. The former Boyzone singer is disgusted at the lack of recognition his new band Redhill are getting in Britain, according to friends. He believes their tunes will go down a lot better in the US, where nobody knows of his teeny-band past. A friend says: "Shane believes Redhill have a bigger future out there. He feels he doesn't belong in the pop business anymore but at the same time people connect him with Boyzone. In the US nobody really knows who he is, so he's starting afresh." The singer's friend adds: "Shane has a house in Dublin and another in England which he will keep. He feels it's time for Redhill to really make their mark." I wouldn't bet on it... |

| Shane Lynch looks like he's been eyeing up shock rocker Marilyn Manson's style. The former Boyzone star sported one spooky contact lens when he performed with new rap band Redhill at Reading University. He showed off straggly blond hair, tattoos and stubble, as well as extremely baggy trousers. And he's still not had a solo hit... |
