(prologue)
Alyson downed her last pain pull for her tooth. Luckily, she was going to the dentist and getting it worked on. Until then..mucho pain. She turned her TV on and flopped down on her couch. 'I haven't vegged out in a long time' she said to herself. He started to change the channels and soon dozed off.
(Part One)
Spike bounded like a little kid to Giles' mailbox. He had signed up to win a contest to go to the set of Passions, and he was hoping he'd won. Something inside of him told him that he was gonna win the second he signed up. Racing down the stairs he opened the watchers mail slot. "Bills, bills, Woman's Wear Weekly, bills, Tiger Beat." he frantically threw aside whatever he deemed not worthy of his attention, which was most of the mail. Then he saw it, in big bold letters on the front of the envelope Passions. "Whoo-hoo!" He exclaimed. [wait did I just say whoo-hoo?] He tore the envelope open.
Dear Sir,
We are happy to inform you that you have won NBC's Spend The Day On The Set Of Passions Contest. The tickets here will insure your entrance into the lot and the studio where you will be greeted by one of our Production Assistants.
Congratulations on your win
Spike stared at the tickets in awe. [2 tickets? Who the hell am I going to take?] Just at that moment Willow walked towards him, a smile played over his face. "Spike? What the heck happened here? Is this Giles' mail?" She questioned not letting him answer.
"I got tickets!" He smiled brightly.
"Got tickets to what exactly?"
"Passions, only the best show on the face of the earth, and you're going with me." He stated.
"I am?" Willow cocked her head.
"That you are, now come on we've got to see if we can sucker Rupert out of his car."
Willow couldn't help but giggle at Spike's excitement.
***********************************************************
Spike looked around the set in awe. He couldn't believe he was there, "Look, there's Tabitha." he whispered in Willow's ear.
"Who?" Willow asked.
Spike rolled his eyes, "You have really never watched this program?
" Willow seemed to search the ceiling for an answer,
"Nope, sorry Spike."
Spike sighed, "We're going to have to change that, Red." After an hour of watching them taping the same scene of Tabitha and Timmy doing a spell Willow was bored, and there sat Spike staring in fascination. "Isn't it bloody marvelous?"
Willow wasn't paying attention, "Um..yeah...great."
"That's lunch." A loud voice came over a loud speaker. [thank you] Willow thought to herself. Christie, the production assistant, walked over to Willow and Spike. "Follow me." She smiled. "I'll take you to the commisarry."
Willow and Spike sat with each other at a small table. Spike scarfed down his burritto making Willow shake her head in disgust. "What?" He asked with his mouth full.
"Nothing." She poked at her chicken salad.
She saw Spikes eyes widen, "What now?"
"Don't turn around but I think Miguel is coming over here." He whispered.
"Who?"
"He's...nevermind. We've really got to get you into watching this show."
"Hello." An unfamiliar man said as he stood next to Willow.
"Um, Hi." She smiled.
He held out his hand, "I'm Jesse, do you mind if I sit?"
Willow took his extended hand, "Sure." She motioned to the empty chair next to her. "I'm Willow and this is Spike." She smiled. Spike was starstruck, he couldn't speak.
"Are you new, I haven't seen you here before?" Jesse asked unwrapping his sandwich.
"Oh, we're just visiting. Spike won a contest to come visit the set." She explained.
"Cool." He smiled and turned his attention to Spike but only for a moment. "So you like the show huh?"
All Spike could do was nod. [say something you wanker, don't just sit here.]
Jesse turned back to Willow, "Where are you from?"
"Sunnydale."
"Sunnydale? Don't think I've ever heard of it."
"Be lucky." Willow giggled.
Jesse and Willow talked through lunch, getting along famously. Spike found himself getting angrier and angrier watching the young pup hitting on Red.
"So Willow, you ever been on television?" Jesse asked.
"Does Cops count?" She laughed.
"Don't think so." he grinned. "So you wanna?"
"Wanna what?"
"Be on TV?"
"Umm..."
"I'm taking that as a yes." Jesse stood up. "Follow me and watch the master."
Spike supressed a growl as he watched Willow and Miguel walk off together. "Stupid asshole, red'll never fall for that act." he grumbled. "Watch the master." he mimicked in a high pitched voice. "Wanker."
"Okay, so all I say is 'Can you pass the ketchup' ?" Willow asked of the set director. "Yup, that's all."
"And I'm gonna get paid for this?" She queried.
"Out of Jesse's money." the director laughed.
"Okay." Willow breathed in and out heavily.
Spike fumed, he couldn't believe that Willow was going to be on his favorite show. Well, what used to be his favorite show until Miguel started messing with her. All he wanted to do was leave, get the hell out of dodge. He laughed to himself, [I should've known I hate the name Harmony anyway] he commented to himself on the name of the faux town.
It took Willow 15 minutes to do one take. She had to keep doing it over and over, she was definitely bored again. Her eyes lit up when the director called it a wrap. [thank you] she celebrated inwardly. Spike rushed over to her, "Come on we're leaving."
"What?"
"You heard me. This is boring, I would have had more fun hanging around the grand poof." he snarled. Willow just shrugged her shoulders and followed Spike off of the set. In the car Willow fiddled with the radio stations.
"Can you believe that guy?" Spike fumed.
"Who, Jesse?" Willow asked finally settling on a Three Doors Down song.
"Of course, that wanker was just trying to throw his power around. I didn't like the way he was looking at you. Idiot boy!" He rolled his eyes.
A grin played across Willow's face, "You're jealous?"
"What?" he glanced over at her. "Don't flatter yourself ducks."
Willow laughed aloud, "Uh-huh, you called me ducks. It's a sentiment, I've heard Giles call Olivia that a few times."
"So what?" Spike played it off. "So I called you ducks, doesn't mean I'm jealous."
There was a long moment of silence until Willow broke it. "Spike?"
"What?"
"I wouldn't mind if you were jealous." She paused as Spike looked towards her as they were stopped at a light. "and I kinda like being called ducks, it's sweet."
Spike couldn't help but smile, "Okay ducks, maybe a little jealous."
"I knew it." Willow singsonged.

(Interlude)
Alyson woke up upon hearing a loud screech on the TV. "Okay, that was a weird dream." She said aloud.
"What's that?" Alexis asked as he entered the room and kissed her sweetly on the forehead. Alyson just shook her head.
"Nothing, just had a weird dream is all." She cuddled into her boyfriend as she fell back into a wonderous sleep.
