A friend asked me to create a jewlery box for that "Special Someone".  And here it is.  Created from the end rail of a broken oak futon, walnut chair leg, a chunk of maple scrap and some Cocobolo.  I hand made the inlay with the Oak, Maple, Walnut and Cocobolo.  I also handcrafted a wooden lid stay instead of using a boring brass chain.  There is also a removable ring tray.

Both from Dovetailed Black Walnut.  Tops included Madrone Burl and Curly Teak.  Boxes are leather lined. Bigger box is 9" x 6" x 3.5" Smaller 6" x 4" x 2"

Small Oak & Maple box made from freight pallets.  The design includes Walnut inlays and keys(corner pieces) from an old picture fram that was beyond repair.  Includes a velvet lined bottom.  6" x 4" x 3"
