The Ground Rules |
My Bio! Welcome. I’m glad you dropped by! Hope you can grab a cup of tea (or what ever) and stay awhile. I’m a Canuck living in Ohio. I was born and raised in Manitoba. I married a man in the navy so have also lived for extended periods in British Columbia and Nova Scotia. We are now in Ohio learning the American way of life and catching a break from the high tax rate in our beloved Canada. I have “a few” beanie bears. Actually, I stopped counting at one hundred. Each has its own cute little bear face and personality. In order to pay for the upkeep of this addiction, I often sell beanie related items over the net – pins, catalogs or international bears. I am not an expert but would be delighted to try and answer any beanie question you might have. I answer all emails even if it’s just to tell you that I don’t know the answer or to refer you to a site I know has your answer. My daily exercise consists of about an hour a day out metal detecting. I usually come back much relaxed with a handful of coins and a bit of jewellery. It’s amazing the stuff people lose and don’t even bother to try to reclaim! As well as treasure hunting, I am involved in ancestor hunting. With all due respect to the dearly departed who can hide but can’t run, there are sure a lot of nuts in my family tree. Dohan/Yakymcuck Parliament/Pegg I am thankful for each breath I draw. I’ve learned to take life a day at a time – and when that is too overwhelming, an hour at a time (and sometimes just fifteen minutes at a time!) |
