Where are we in time?  What is our goal in the universe?  And will we ever realizie our own inherent incompetence?
It is my firm belief that there is a logical entropy to the universe we call home.  Things naturally tend toward chaos, yet they make sense to us when we apply our simple methods of explanation.  Religion and Science have always been at war with each other trying to prove the other's fallibility and the only true conclusions we can draw from the ancient argument are that faith is not provable and law is not universally accepted.   You either put your faith in religion, or you put your faith in science... either way, you place your faith in the thing that gives you more stability with your concept of why we are here.  The entropy I refer to is the every day chaos that we call natural disaster, senseless violence, even getting lost on the road, or a piece of broken glass that doesnt seem to repeat it's shapes in all the thousands of shards it created.  There is a method to madness in that all things, no matter how uncontrolled they seem to be, decidedly head in the same direction: toward nothingness again.  In the beginning of known time, things were simple and through either creation, or evolution (depending on your education)  they got more complex and harder to understand.   Now, I am sure that as complexity grows and learning must accelerate, things are actually on the way to nothing again.  Occam's razor  is a physical law that says "the more complex something is, the more likely it is to not hold up."  In time all that we know will cease to exist by our definition and there will be a new something taking our places.  How self centered and arrogant is the idea that we are here for a reason besides either a cosmic accident or a colossal joke!  One question I refuse to ask is "why are we here"  (notice i mention it earlier in my paragraph.)   This is a question that denies itself an answer and therefore lies beyond the realm of reasonable favor to pose upon anyone including the Earth's numerous deities whom I am sure do not enjoy being spoken to on their only days off.

If you did not understand, comprehend, or even find interest in the preceeding message, then it may be assumed that I did not intend for you to find an answer or a question in my poor writings....................................................................................Jeremy Washburn
