Chapter Two
“In my lifetime when I’m disgraced by jealousy and lies. I laugh aloud ‘cause my life has gotten inside someone else’s mind. Look at me look at me. At least look at me when you shoot a bullet through my head, through my head, through my head. Hey all I want is what’s real, something I touch and can feel. I’ll hold it close and never let go. Said why.. Why do we live life, with all this hate inside.” -‘Bullets’ Creed

"What did you say to me boy!?" the man snarled, but was caught off guard as Reno's leg connected and knocked him off his feet.
"I said, you're gonna be sorry you did that, old man. Do you have any idea who you're messing with?" Reno expressed as he flipped himself back onto his feet and drew his electro rod.
"Yes Turk, but you don't have a clue who you're messing with."
And with that a foot connected with the back of Reno's head, sending him forward, though he caught himself before going down. "What's this, back up? Give me a break. I swear, I just can't have a peaceful vacation without someone wanting me to kick their ass." Raising his electrorod, which was now crackling with electricity, he took a ready stance and looked around. Already he could see at least four or five figures, perhaps more.
"You're going down Turk!" roared another voice then charged, but failed as Reno's rod struck him down.
"What in hell do you fools want with me any way?" questioned Reno as he dodged another incoming attack.
"You know what we want Turk, sweet revenge," answered the initial assaulter.
"The Wolves, I'm assuming then? Or whatever in hell it is you losers call yourself," laughed Reno, but then got taken down by a double rush.
"For losers we seem to be kicking your ass, AND have your boss, so we wouldn't talk if we were you."
"Fuck you, " snarled Reno as he shocked the two men who'd charged him moments ago and jumped back. "Kicking my ass? So you have to wait until I'm smashed and then attack me, while greatly outnumbering me mind you, to kick my ass? And to think that I'm STILL standing, I must be a goddamn super hero!"

Another figure watched the scene play out, unnoticed by all participants, nearing closer through the dark.
Saying nothing, and creeping closer by the second not making a sound, the figure watched on.

"Don't speak too soon Turk" a voice boomed from behind the red head, then he felt something hard smash him in the back of the head as he fell forward. "We don't intend to leave empty handed today."
Now in the sand on all fours Reno spit up blood and coughed, "..the hell you want this time?"
"You dead, Turk. Any last words?" a man about twice his size laughed as he stood ready with a metal pipe.
"Actually yeah, blow me old man!" Reno yelled, then coughed up blood again and continued to mutter threats and obscenities even as he received a kick to the ribs from someone on his left.
"Just finish him boss!" yelled one of the other men.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," a female voice called out, as the previously dormant figure rose.
"What the hell, a woman here to save the day or something? Take a hike sweetie, while you still have a chance." grinned the Wolf leader.
"Sorry, 'sweetie'. I don't like to repeat myself and don't intend to, this is your last warning.." she replied calmly and came forward, it was now visible that she was wearing a cloak of some sort.
"Don't you know it's dangerous for women to be out alone at night," said one of the men as he started to advance on her.
The woman gave a chuckle. She was totally unaffected by their threats and such showed in the way she presented herself, "I wouldn't say that, I see nothing dangerous about imbeciles."
"Bad choice of words bitch, someone grab her!" yelled the leader.
The woman suddenly jumped back drawing two katanas's from her sides that were hidden beneath her cloak. "Do attempt to entertain me, I've been deprived of such lately," she smirked then ran forward, running two of the men through with her katanas. "Next up? Come on boys, I'm just dying for some action!"
"Dying is what you'll get then!" one of the men yelled as he ran up and jabbed a dagger into the woman's side. Making a small noise from the pain, she quickly recovered and swung the katanas in her right hand around, decapitating the fiend's head, as it flew a couple feet and landed in the sand. "This ends now.." she whispered, "pyramid!" she chanted as yellow shapes surround the remaining men and depleted their life force.
Walking over to the red head on the ground she leaned down to where he now lay face first in sand soaked with his own blood. "Dear gods..." she whispered and she sheathed her katanas, then checked for a pulse. "Still alive... lucky boy," she mumbled, then pulled out a green materia from under her cloak. "Cure Three.." she whispered as a green light engulfed the man before her.
Coughing Reno looked up at the figure before him, then thwarted his gaze towards the bodyless head which lay a few feet away in the sand. Shifting his gaze back to the female before him he spoke weakly as he blinked slowly, "Who.. the hell are you..?"
"Call me Karia.." she replied, then watched the man before her close his eyes. "Nice to meet you Reno..." Sighing she pulled him up with her as she rose to stand. "You just couldn't stay conscious could you...? Nooooo, just have to make things difficult... ex Turks, I swear.."
