Then what you have is the clutch plate all by itself. It needs to have holes drilled where the rivets used to be so you can mount it to the engine. It bolts to an aluminum adapter that takes the two different bolt circles and mates them together. They both have 8 mounting bolts but on different diameters. the engine is 8mm bolts and I drilled the clutch plate to 3/8 for ease of tapping. The Adapter for the clutch plate is about 2.25 inches thick. The 8 inner holes on the clutch plate mount to the outer holes on the spacer. A bearing is pressed into the adapter just like the original Porsche flywheel. |
